Thank you very much for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I wouldn’t dream of describing myself as a classical guitarist - the top classical players are on another level 🔥 I am however deeply interested in the inner mechanics of how music works, and how we can use that to improvise in a jazz & popular music context. Thanks again! 🎸
Great lesson! I've been learning so much from you over the past several days. I subscribed, looking forward to more great content in your easy to follow teaching style, THANK YOU!
incredible stuff - so much to think about - please keep the videos coming - they are all great! I'd love to see some more videos on Blues Rhythm/Comping ideas - you seem to have a real talent for it - more info on that would be great
Thanks for watching - inversions are basically when you flip the chord upside down and reorganise the notes in a different order. So in this context - the A minor shape I began with was (low to high) C, E, A. The next one along is E, A, C and then the final one goes A, C, E. Thanks for raising the question, I'm planning on doing a series of videos on these triad foundations in the near future.
It’s a Lewitt 140 pencil condenser - cheap and cheerful! I use it mostly for acoustic guitars, not normally vocals. However I didn’t want to use anything too intrusive visually for the videos. Does the job!
