The easiest way to symbolize what a joint is within Autodesk® Inventor® is to picture the human shoulder joint. That joint allows the shoulder to raise and lower the arm in an arc from the front of the body to somewhere past the plane that runs through both shoulders.
An automotive example is the ball joint in the car’s front suspension. The Joint combines the insert and rotational constraints.
Many users know the Joint tool exists, but not many know how to use it, or if they should be using it instead of a constraint. In this webinar, Jared will help you to understand how each of them work and the instances when one is more appropriate than the other. He'll also be showing you why you want to be using them both in your assemblies.
