In this video, I cover the ROTATION AND ROTATION-TRANSLATION ASSEMBLY MOTION CONSTRAINTS. I genuinely appreciate you choosing to learn with Engineering Applied and welcome you to the Autodesk Inventor Tutorial Series (Autodesk Inventor Tutorial for Beginners) where we are taking an in-depth look into this awesome and easy to use CAD software! This video is part of a complete and easy to follow Assembly Creation Tutorial Module that covers all of the major tools and functions used to create 3D geometry. You can find the rest of the series on my channel under the "Autodesk Inventor Tutorials" Playlist. Also, check the end of the description for time stamps to specific functions in this video. If there is anything else you would like to see or learn about, feel free to reach out via the contact page on my website.

Do you have any plans for making a video about creating the gears itself? Great videos by the way.

Thank you! I am glad the video was helpful and I appreciate you taking the time to comment! Unfortunately, I do not have the files on hand anymore as I regularly clear out old models as I make new videos. Thanks again for watching!

hi good day.how to make translation assembly motion, transfer load from coveyor to other conveyor.thank you.
@engineeringapplied
@engineeringapplied 3 года назад
Great question! It greatly depends on the relative orientation of one conveyor to the other. Let's assume that the first conveyor belt is on the same plane and in the same direction as the second conveyor: I would create a constraint between the load and the plane of the first conveyor and just animate (or drive) that constraint. If you are looking at a set of rollers spinning while the load is moving linearly, you will set one of the rollers as the rotational element while the load (a box/carton for example) will be the translational element. I suggest starting out simple, and once you get the simple animation working, then increase the complexity as you begin to master the fundamentals of the command. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
