I wasn't going to make this video because I thought I missed the boat, but watching how other people covered or how fans interpreted the statement it's clear that neither of them did their due diligence or research to find out what the commission was really asking for and what the response was, we can't let Volks team and CKB get away with just making these statements without pursuing the truth with "evidence" nor can we let "evidence" remain in the shadows and not hold Makhachev accountable if he did in fact cheat by using an IV to rehydrate. I hope you guys appreciate the effort of research to make sure the truth is known. Rather than waffling based on a headline.
Also let it be clear that Jeff Novitsky is A UFC EMPLOYEE. Anything and everything he says needs to be understood within that context because he has a vested interest in making the UFC look good (Even guru makes the mistake of thinking novitsky’s statement is USADA statement at 3:45)

Its pretty clear no IV was used by the recorded cage weights of Islam and Volk. Volk came in at 78kg Islam came in at 79kg as reported by sherdog. If Islam used IV hydration he would not have come in so low under his normal fight weight.
This is such a weird situation. I had Volk winning and I’m from Australia, it does not seem in his character the slightest to accuse cheating and same with his team. I got a question then. Does this law also stops you from sharing information even if they are commiting a crime? Is it like the confidentiality between a patient and a psychologist? I thik the person we need to be talking to about this is Volkanovski's manager. I saw an interview with craig jones on submission radio recently, and he suggested that it was the manager who was dealing with all of this.
If they were making it up, they should already all be named in a defamation suit. The fact that there hasn't been a defamation suit seems to suggest it happened and they don't want evidence to come out in court.

I havent really watched his stuff before, and I heard MMA Guru was a huge Islam hater so I thought his coverage of this as well as the fight in general would be super bias but so far I have been really impressed with his coverage.

The best thing about Guru is he treats the sport as 100% a sport. Truth is UFC is 51% entertainment and 49% sport. Not a criticism, this is what makes the UFC work. IV is a small story in comparison to the fact that a smaller man made a dominant champion look not only beatable but beaten.
