Hey guys, massive eruptions of Methane gas, caused by collapsing sinkholes, tremors. MythBusters proved bubbles blowing underneath a boat, even a ship can sink it, the bubbles reduce the density and the vessels get lower and lower into the water until the bubbling water spills over onto the deck. A crew might think something on their vessel caused gas or stopped them from breathing, some got away in lifeboats, the whalers could have been already in the water waiting for another sighting, the rest not being able to breathe jumped into the water. Lighting a cigarette can set off an explosion in some cases. Flight 19 was on low level bombing practice, they didn't need to be on Oxygen, the rescue PBY was flying low too looking for men in the water, a big enough discharge might have encompassed square kilometres, and Methane sits low in the atmosphere, takes a while to disperse horizontally over the water. If they spotted floating pilots they would have landed, suffocated and bubbling sank the PBY, more likely it blew up, as that is the current theory. Sauce for the goose ?
@Dirt Reapers ya 100 years ago there were lots of navel activity in that area. And there were bombs back then. Remember ww1. Could have been a asset that didn’t work anymore and they played target practice. Happens all the time. Standard military practice is to blow things up and not leave them behind even to this day.
Again no actual evidence or pictures of the boats in question, the statistics suggest there is no triangle these kinds of things are all over the most traveled shipping lanes
load of bullshit...they quote the rate of coral growth, and on a ship that's been there for 120 years, the coral is tiny.......sonar was horseshit, there was nothing showing...so much wrong with this....but they'll gobble it up
1830's metals really took off, Cast Iron to Steel production on a large scale. Depending on the type of coral, it can grow anywhere from 0.3mm to 10 cms per year, if you know the type of coral native to the zone, our Great Barrier Reef is already repairing some sections damaged by Crown of Thorns Starfish, as the Ocean warms it moves South.
May i suggest that this ship may have been carrying ammonia nltrate ( farm fertiliser ). When mixed with a small amount of diesel or fuel oil it can become explosive. This is often associated with an ignition source in the holds ( ie oil lamps also lite )
" Coral grows as little as 5mm per year"..... "Ship is from the late 1800's...." 120 plus years at 5mm per year..........that coral would be huge,,,but it's not ....decompression test when i can see the ocean floor and the hull of the boat in one shot...ffs...free dive in that distance Typical Yank drama about nothing
Yeah I wondered about Deco Stop, considering they were in about 30 or 40ft of water didn't make sense. I used to dive that depth all day using 3 or 4 single tanks.
