This is what I am exactly wanted to be in next 5~10 years.!! I am 44years old with 2 high school kids....I am starting aware of my early retirement life with Passive income that will cover for my expenses & grow.... So I am keep what I am doing now & save & invest money in Real estate & Super & some Dividend stock... The best option is Real estate....so far... I make $2000/m passive income in the next 5~10years..Then I will move to there...😀 Thanks for the video....

The Sanctuary of Truth is a castle that was never completed. Since the start of construction Because there have been constant changes and repairs for nearly 43 years, the owner left it as a monument to his dreams before he died. and passed it on to his children and grandchildren to continue the work. He is the billionaire owner of the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm, the ancient city and the Erawan Elephant Monument. 😊

I am looking at going to Pattaya in January to look into possibly buying a condo. I am working with a realtor in Pattaya, she sent me some photos of a very nice condo (a bit higher than I was wanting to spend) but the views were fabulous. One of the photos of the view showed a huge temple right on the water. I asked her what the temple was, she said it was the Sanctuary of Truth. I definitely want to check it out when I go there. With regards to the wealth, this is one of the reasons that I am looking at living in Thailand. I am not rich but I have enough money saved up to pass on to my daughter to give her a great chance for a nice life going forward. I want to live somewhere that I can live only on my SS payments alone (maybe about $2000 USD per month), thus allowing me to use my money to travel and pass on to my daughter when I am gone.

There is an opposite opinion that people should consider! I just retired at 55 after 30 years of chronic frugality and heavy index fund investing. I never have to work again and have been traveling the world and just got back from a motorbike trip in Vietnam. The opposite opinion is to never worry about generational wealth. Be selfish. You've earned it. The next generation does not need to be handed your lifetime of smart investing free of charge. If you are smart investor you will inevitably have something left anyway since it's dangerous to plan to zero. Let that be the generational wealth. I know people working years more than they have to because they're chasing the dollar and meeting societal expectations like paying for kids college or other ridiculous things. Invest for yourself and retire as early as possible.

@@RetireandGo Oh yes! I rode Hanoi, Danang, Ho Chi Minh and Phu Quoc. But ALSO the Ha Giang Loop. You have to do it without a tour! It's a fantasy land. It's incredible how it's still mostly uninfected by western franchises. And we frugal people feel a huge relief everywhere we go in Vietnam!

Tutorial to life: Stay single, build an online business or remote work in SEA and enjoy life, invest 2/3 of your income in stocks/ETF, once you NW reach 2-5M. Stop working and enjoy life. Or just continue working 2-3 hours per day to keep the mind busy.

Hi Chris! Have to disagree with you on this one. Generational wealth is a curse: 1. they'll fight because you left one more than the other and they'll resent each other. 2. if you don't teach them how to manage the money they'll just spend it and waste it. It's better to leave each some money but while you're living teach them to love whatever work they choose and how to build the wealth themselves. To be honest I've seen more miserable rich people and more happy poor people in my life.

ypu load 16 tons whaddaya get? I retired at age 48 and have been gifting my wife and family every year. My wife knows farmland and started buying at 40k baht per rail and the land is now worth 250k + and the added benefit is that the family farms the land for free and makes a living while she will eventually get the appreciation, though she will probably never sell. Obla dee obla da life goes on.

I have looked closely and want to learn much more on this topic. Specifically, how to ensure that property stays within the family . This worries me .

A living trust It is the best way to avoid estate / probate concerns :-) Your investments with online brokerages will ask you for a next of kin to receive control of the account if you pass on. These are the two to set up :-)

Fabulous video Chris, one of your best 😀👍. As a parent, the subject of generational wealth is definitely front of mind. We invest in property and stocks, all assets. Have you read Rich Dad Poor Dad? Buying assets is the key. Have you been able to pass on some of your wealth to help your kids with buying a house, ie deposit etc..? Cheers

To be fair there are a ton of content creators doing that, Chris sticks to travel, Finance and food and I think that’s a great combination. Plus he has grown kids and family to consider back at home so it’s completely understandable.
