I don't know for some reason Atom-Eve feels like Gwen Tennyson from Ben10 to me. From the powers to the character design. Maybe one is inspired by the other?
I think YaBoyRoshi realized it. Or one of the Normies(doubt) or Blind Wave. But yeah it's rare for people to realize it lol. Even I didn't know until one reactor mentioned it.
Imon: Why is [Cecil] trying to protect [Omni-Man]?” Feel free to ask the aliens on that other planet why it’s a good idea to be daaaaaamn sure before you start something with Omni Man.
@@zackstoner4523 i thought it was an abbreviation of opposition, but that’s easily searchable on the internet, which you just so happen to be using. Also not sure how the second question is related but Yes💕💕
If you ladies care, The scene with omniman is NEW information from the comics. That scene was never shown in the comics, he just dissapeared for a bit. Robert is adding missing information to the show for the loyal fans. really cool idea.
We only see him with the beard looking older in a panel from the chapters later in the story, so yeah, other than that, completely new stuff, I liked it.
Or he’s just adding it because a TV episode is longer than a comic issue so more scenes are needed, and since we already know he’s evil there’s no point in not showing what he does to the Flaxxons.
The story he tells Debbie and Mark, if I'm remembering right, is that after he had gotten captured (by the time he and Mark fly around a bit, the flaxans developed a device that "suppresses" his power which they used to abduct him), he was imprisoned and eventually joined a rebellion which helped him get back. He was obviously bullshitting about losing his powers and joining a rebellion, since he's known there as "The Destroyer" or something.
He is their Superman. No one would think Superman would be a bloodthirsty killer. Kirkman said he modeled the Guardians completely like the JLA. He knew they weren't going to be around but he wanted the audience to immediately empathize with them. So we knew one was the Batman guy, one was the Wonder Woman gal, etc. etc.
You raise a good point that most people don't talk about: Omni-Man just fought Alan the Alien every time he showed up and didn't even bother to talk to him.
I don't think Omni-Man fought him at all, since Alan thought he was at Urath. And, spoilers... . . . . . . . . . . . In the last episode, Alan comes back to tell Invincible that there's a Viltrumite on his planet. If he had fought Omni-Man before, he would've known already.
I love the moments when mark rages. It's like seeing spider man hold back less. Whether mark knows it or not, he holds back his strength against his enemies and only really stops when he gets mad (like when eve almost got shot)
Those invisible soldiers are just doing their jobs. It's a government facility after all. They can't just let anyone in there. Abi, I believe you mean Boom Boom. That X-Men character you were talking about.
I don't remember the person but someone on Reddit actually made the math on how long Omni-Man was stuck on that dimension. Its around 7 or 8 months. 8 months of nothing but death and destruction. Its crazy!!
The Teen Team: Atom Eve: Controls molecules, and creates force fields. Rexplode: Charges inanimate objects with energy and they explode. He wears cylinders that dispense metal coin sized pieces that he can charge and throw quickly. Duplikate: Can create flesh and blood clones of herself. Kate will only die if all her clones are killed. Robot: A robot... (with secrets).
I love this part, because every time the aliens come back, they develop specific countermeasures for all the threats they see, from the other heroes, to invincible- but then Omni-Man shows up, and he's so insanely overpowered that there's nothing they ever could have done to stop him
Yeah, the first episode has a great shock, but just like Ned Stark's death, the shock serves a very real story-telling purpose of making you realize you don't know wtf is about to happen at any moment. The danger level of the show ratchets up massively after that and I love how every reactor goes from "Well this is fun" halfway through episode one to "OMG THEY'RE ALL GOING TO DIE AND GET THEIR FACES RIPPED OFF" by episode two.
I showed my boy this show and when Rex walked out drinking milk and noticed the alarm said “he just got done laying some pipe” I already finished the show and my mind melted because Rex was cheating in the first episode he was introduced.
@@angramainyu9220 I just went back to watch it again (22:49) the give away is that his pants are undone and they hide the name of the women saying “huh” in the subtitles
I love how Mark is almost like Gohan in that when he is pushed too far or his friends are in danger he loses it and almost goes into a blood rage. Also Omni-Man absolutely wrecking shop on that alien home world equally awesome and terrifying.
Rex is like Gambit from X-men. They charge things with energy that then explode. Yeah, the garbage bag was from the previous episode. Also the man was the guard that was talking to his co-worker about taking a trip with his son to try and reconnect. Which apparently worked. Thanks to Mark's garbage bag. 😀 The opening stays the same. They just add a little something more to it each episode.
I actually agree with what Omni man did. The Flaxxans wouldn't back off and were trying to conquer the Earth, so eliminating their entire species was just, albeit Nolan didn't actually kill them all, he just destroyed their capital cities, but since the Flaxxans are a conquering race similar to Viltrumites, not all of them were on their homeworld, but rather off on other worlds conquering.
If Superman were to kill the entire Justice League, you wouldn't walk up to him and say "Hey Superman, you are under arrest". How do you plan on stopping him once you let the cat out of the bag?
Rex plode is like gambit duplikate is like multiple man robot is a robot from the doom patrol or cyborg if you want to go teen titans route and Atom eve is like scarlet witch the way she manipulates things on a Molecular scale Compared to how Wanda can manipulate reality
You two have no idea how proud I am of you figuring it out... at least to some degree. Some people didn't catch it. Imma still not give it away, just in case.
The question of "why is Cecil protecting Omni Man". Jsut look at it this way, if Omni Man found out they were on to him, before they were anything less than one hundred percent ready, they'd be screwed 😭
I assume if she remerges with a clone she gets their memories and experiences so she probably doesn't feel what they feel unless she remerged. Assumptions, but I enjoy speculating.
In Cecil's defense, if you think Superman might have illed all of the Justice League, the last thing you want to do is accuse him. Either he's innocent and you need to find the real villain or he's guilty and your all screwed. And if you think Omniman is jacked, check out the actor, JK Simmons. You know him from the Spiderman movies, but he's .... changed ... in recent years.
Just a heads up, Mortal Kombat 1 just released a Onmi man reveal character trailer.. and I figured I'd let you know considering how much you like Omni-man 😅 Enjoy
HAHAHA, I watched this series 3 times and watched a bunch of reactions and I'm just now realizing that was the garbage bag Mark threw into space. Thanks for saying that.
i will say there are small moments everyone has the same reactions to outside of the obvious scenes we're all here for, but every reaction ive watched, everyone has said "nice wingman" to William giving Mark's number to Amber lol.
@@beyondviolet homelander is not indestructible. Homelander can barely lift a plane while Omni man stopped a meteor the size of Texas from hitting the earth. Homelander can definitely be injured. There just hasn’t been anyone strong enough in the boys to do it yet. Viltrumites may get hurt but they can tank that damage and still survive it. And homelanders laser eyes ain’t doing shit to Omni man.
@@locusxe1411 I think you forgot how Omni-Man got beat up and bruised at the end of episode 1. He passed out and he wasn’t faking it. So yeah Homelander’s lasers could definitely do _something_ lol. Also Homelander almost certainly could’ve lifted that plane, the passengers just wouldn’t have survive it due to the physics and he likely would’ve gotten blamed for that.
