There *are* a good few that he (or she cause y'know, infinite dimensions means infinite possibilities) didn't turn evil, though thar also includes the invincibles that were just straight up killed by nolan or someone else
I can't believe they made Levy slightly sympathetic here. Like, he has every memory from every version of himself, and EVERY one is where Mark is evil. And he really thinks that he's doing the right thing too.
What makes it also nightmarish is as that version of Mark reaches closer to Angstrom, the shot selections starts far out as Mark starts executing, but as he gets closer, the shot selections get closer and closer to just where you just see Levy, making you feel the same pressure Angstrom is having about getting his head chopped off.
Gotta feel for angstrom. He’s really fighting internally this battle. Ever time he sees this dude invincible has slaughtered everyone. Hard to not feel for him
@@unclebuns5286 Yes but why did that Omniman succeed and not our version. There must be some difference or otherwise the outcome would be the same as in our version.
Even if he hadn’t taken the helmet of all those memories of what the evil Marks had done and put his alternative selves through would’ve eventually caused him to go mad with grief and revenge anyway, the only difference here was that it didn’t take time for them to get to him
An even darker truth is the pure irony of Levy’s actions. He wants to make Mark pay for all the lives that “he’s” taken yet his actions are what causes our Mark to go down the path of actually becoming a killer.
Supposedly the device was specifically designed to avoid that. Remember Levy had plenty of time to plan this out and likely considered something like this happening.
@@thefanwithoutaface8105Would never have worked he would still have those memories even if it worked perfectly. The mauler twins were right he should have just read the version of the internet of the worlds he was visiting.
I think based on what's been shown and said in the last episode that the main universe Mark was the only one who turned out to be good, same can be said for Omni Man. So in all the other universes he turns evil.
I think the theory is that invincible/Mark developed his powers earlier. So he would have grown up seeing himself as above ordinary humans because he has god strength. That and maybe Debbie was out of the picture, either by accident or Nolan’s doing when Mark was still a child. So Debbie would never have had a long enough influence on Nolan and Mark by showing them love and humanity
It’s actually INSANE how much potential Mark has. These alternate versions of Mark prove Omni-Man’s claim of him holding back. They seem more smarter on how they use their abilities than our Mark does.
huh? he's just destroying buildings and killing humans which is nothing to him since he's a viltrumite...we've seen mark smartly use his powers like when he was fighting doc seismic during the washington monument sequence or when he used his flight speed to create a huge wave to stop the fires...
Everyone might see him a villain who went after his mom and half-brother. But remember he contains all the memories of his alterative versions of himself, who all witnessed the other Marks atrocities and the deaths of his friends and families in other worlds.
Yeah no, roping two innocent civilians into a conflict they weren’t involved in doesn’t justify anything at all. Threatening innocent people makes you a villain no matter how you view it
@@burnolli5047 people like to pretend they are extremely good hearted and incapable of horrible acts. naive people don’t last in the real world. not everything is black and white with the decisions that are made neither are the outcomes. Grow up
They really couldn’t have picked a better voice for Angstrom than they did, Sterling K. Brown killed it, perfect casting I mean just listen to this 2:17, that delivery is amazing
Imagine experiencing all the memories and emotions of multiple different versions of yourself being murdered and watching your friends and family being murdered all by the same guy, I’d go crazy too
Idk why, I started laughing when I heard sinister Invincible “poor angstrom” reminds me of a kindergarten after they find their friends in a game of hide and seek 😂😂😂
I dont think everyone here remembers how exactly this levy thing happened. The good variant of Langstrum we met in season two ep one was going to link his mind to his other variants to spread his knowledge across the multiverse to help benfit the universe destroyed by the Viltrimites. Mark messed the machine up. Threw it in reverse so now theres one Levy with the combined pain and suffering of thousands of his variants. This is just one of many memories he has.
@@decas5505 Levy Prime is more than likely gone. Swallowed by all the pain and I think the one that's in control is the Levy from the universe where eve has that buzz cut.
god i feel bad for the guy ngl, that part when he said "i dont want my utopia to be full of blood shed" you can really tell he just want to do good, but that's too late now cause he's gone mad.
1:35 I like the cars below going about their day. "There's an existential threat going on a killing spree on the overpass, who could fly up and then body slam the road with the energy of a nuke with a few seconds' notice, but I promised I'd meet the kids for lunch, so ..."
This is the tone where Mark blew up his machine and caused him to be like this. He doesn't remember that Invincible thought something bad was happening, but he knew at the time he said "Invincible wait you don't understand!" but the brain damage made him forget.
You guys don't understand It's not the fact that Of all the universes Angstrom chose to torment Invincible he chooses the one good of all of them It is the fact that the monster who had murdered, Tormented and psychologically destroyed him for some reason is good, Why Why does he deserve to be happy, when so many other versions of him had to suffer because of him and in his many minds he cannot accept that One way or the other, maybe not now but later Invincible may actually become rbe monster in his memories so he ls merely deciding to take care of him now Plus not to mention the way he acted when he intervered with the machine process did seem eerily similar to how the Cape Invincible casually came and took his son from him
Am I the only one who struggled with this scene, I mean it totally makes me hate Mark but then I instantly remember..this is NOT THE Mark. And no one should ever have to watch this, experience this, this would drive anyone insane and he has memories of this happening in hundreds of different ways, but I can’t feel bad for Angstrom Levy, I can’t, because he hurt another child, a baby, all this pain and he just decides to cause MORE. And he attacks an innocent baby and a woman . There’s just no justifying that, insane with grief or not. I mean I wanted to kill him myself for hurting Oliver.
This is exactly the problem the mauler twins warned would happen. He cant differentiate which memories are his and which are from his parallel selves. He's forgotton that while in most universes, Invincible is evil, in this one he's a good guy
Honestly mark is way more evil than his dad Nolan atleast acted like a soldier pushing away his emotions when he killed people he didn’t take pleasure in it Mark over here clearly does with a smile he enjoys the hunt to make them feel small
It’s interesting to see that once Mark is committed to something he’s all in. The Mark we know is committed to good and he’s unwavering, but the Mark in the other universes is committed to evil and is damn good at being it
I know Levy is not logically all there in the head anymore, but what he could've done was just simply be super cautious like Immortal instead of instantly threatening mainline Mark by holding Debbie hostage, or at the very least confront him & vent out his anger that's been built up from his multiple alternate universe deaths.
0:28 This Yellow-Black Mark is the Sinister Invincible in the comics, who in his reality killed his dad (and apparently Debbie, too), conquered Earth, became the Viltrumite Emperor... And was a cannibal with a taste for both human and Viltrumite flesh.
One thing awesome about Mark's suit is how versatile it is to change while still keeping to its core design. Like the black & yellow suit is a wonderful visual of how evil that version is
By forcing invincible to lose control and kill him Levy kinda proved that Mark isn't as different from his variants as he would like to believe. That's why Angstrom is such a compelling villain, he represents the darkness buried within Mark, perhaps even more that Nolan does.
