Nah, they're just bad version of Mark and this Mark is probably the only good version. Or if the show does have an infinite no. Of universes, that means there's more good Marks.
in the comic there were several Invincibles that killed their dad and become the earth conqueror. omni vs mark is about 50/50. good mark or evil mark is 1/99
Levi in the cómic later states that Mark should be alarmed at how rare it is to find a versión of him that is good. So while there are other good Marks, they are extremely rare, maybe just one out of thousands or even millins
@@yangodboya4442spoilers ahead: At some point in the comics Rex dies and if I remember well, Rudy basically asked everyone to call him Rex as a sign of respect towards his fallen comrade or something like that.
@@sinisteressem8563She is in love w Mark, she was going to tell him how she felt, but once she saw him w Amber, all she could do was be happy for him, move on and wait.
@Grunch_Morrisonx123 ig but the va thing doesn't make sense, why wpuld they replace the original one just because the character he's playing is older? It's not like the va is a kid
@@compeditorThe VA for Rudy is the same VA for the Immortal, so the VA isn't being replaced when that happens but it makes sense that Rudy, in an exact biological clone as Rex, looks and sounds exactly like Rex when he grows up
If we don’t see this version of the team again , it kinda would've been darkly humorous if they ceased to exist due to time rules, and Eve’s last words were telling Rex to shut up 😅
@@jjbrown8174 Time travel works however the writers want it to work, honestly lol. That's why I personally don't like when it's heavily relied on to drive the plot.
@@jjbrown8174 Dragonball time travel is a mess, are two forms of time travel. The mortal way with a time machine that splits off creating distinct timelines. Then gods also can just travel through time without creating a new timeline, they actually can change the past. Though with the god way you can totally just kill someone in the past and in the future they are destroyed. Unless they have a gods time travel ring.
@@jjbrown8174I think it's implied that these guardians were originally marks time-line and now they don't have mark. By going back in time, they created a new dimension where mark goes back home and doesn't go missing for 20 years. These guardians are now part of a new dimension where there is no mark. Hence why Eve is so depressed after Mark leaves
"you did survive. But you wouldnt like what you'd become." Short but scary line, sort of implying that Mark was the one who reduced this place to a wasteland.
Well... no. The wasteland was here all along. Originally Mark stayed here and turned into something bad. But the guardians of that galaxy went back to this point in time of the show to save him. The wasteland was like this before mark ever showed up and killed angstrom
No it isn't lmao why would you think that? It was already a wasteland when he arrived. He would have spent 40 years there if guardians hadn't just used time travel to right after he got stuck.
1:53 Wonderful facial animations, she went from a mix of fear, concern and regret to desolation & doubt and, finally, determination. Alternate Eve did the right thing, she definitely helped this version of Mark gain the courage to speak up his mind more, not just romantically, as for her, it’s a moment of closure for that version of her even if that’s not “him”. Nice soundtrack too, it sounds like someone’s longing for something that wasn’t destined to be but that can happen elsewhere; she helped herself heal and will help another Eve be happy.
I don’t know why but that scene hit me very hard. Something about her expressing an emotion she had hidden for years, not for her own love but for the sake of an individual she will never meet.
@@sammysalgado1475 You haven't a shred of an idea of what you're talking about. If you haven't read the story yourself, don't play the phone game, because that's what you're doing. Don't act like you didn't skip around the story on RU-vid
2:47 funny how, despite how it is a very Different person in the inside, DNA can make a person genetically inherit similar aspects from the source material; in Robot's case he can still annoy Eve the same way Rex does.
I loved that scene. It is honestly really unfair of future Eve to put this additional weight on Mark - after all, it’s not his fault that Eve is suffering as he didn’t even know she was in love with him - but it’s realistic that she would do something to help her younger self. The characters are flawed in a way that makes them so compelling.
I don't think telling somebody your feelings is that much of "additional weight". I mean, compare to everything in Mark's life that shouldn't put too much stress on him, he just shouldn't priorize it on one of the worst days of his life amd right after a break up. For Future Eve that means a lot, for Mark, yeah, well, it is just confesing to a crush.
@@NanoMp40 I agree that it usually doesn’t, but Future Eve frames it as if it does. She says “tell her something so she can move on with her life” which implies that Mark is somehow responsible for Eve’s well being, for the way she’s feeling right now. It’s even worse because it comes for her future self, meaning it’s something that affected her so much that she’s still reeling from it twenty years later. Of course Mark wants Eve to feel good, but he couldn’t have known she was in pain because of him, so putting the weight of that on him - especially after what just happened to him in that episode - is a bit unfair to me. BUT I don’t blame Future Eve for saying it. I think it makes a lot of sense that she wants her younger self to be spared more suffering.
“We’ve already said too much, anymore and we could disrupt the time stream.” *Didn’t y’all literally come there to bring Mark back so history could be rewritten?* 💀💀
@christophercrafte it technically still exist, just becomes an branch of the current... or vice versa? Something like that because the two timelines interact
Funny how more Guardians are alive at the end of a timeline without Mark than they are with a timeline with him (mostly due to one particular person though).
I shed a small tear when Eve told mark she loved him. Something about her finally expressing an emotion she had kept hidden inside for decades hit too hard. Eve finding closure over her regrets while allowing her past self to potentially have something she never will just hits different. Brilliant writing as always
@@megatronusorionpax4900 thats Rex Robot read the comics to understand the story . as for the voice actors we're not at that point in the series for them to actually have the same voice actors rexsplode.
@@megatronusorionpax4900I wouldn't recommend reading their comments. That is Robot. There is a major plot point later down the line as to why Robot adopts Rex's name. The voice actors are the same not only because they are genetic copies but as a way to throw off the viewers. In the comics they never had him take off his helmet, they just had eve call him rex and it confused everyone. This way they confuse people even more.
@@megatronusorionpax4900They have different voice actors because Rudy is in Rex’s younger body, once he grows up he gets the same voice as Rex, it’s not complicated
The multiverse is the only way Time travel makes sense and isn't tragic. Otherwise you have the Back to the Future problem of Marty basically stepping into the shoes of another Marty. He has no memories of that time, his new family, and everyone he knew and loved as he knew them, except Doc, is gone. BTTF is horrific when you really think about it.
Robot out here hinting at our boy, Evil Cape Invincible. For you know "the winner gets the meat". Alternatively, I'd like to imagine Mark as this Mad Max styled Superman.
I love the minor foreshadows that Mark, “Rex” and eve drop. Mark wondering if Angstroms’ body had a soul, or could use his body to make a way home. Definitely foreshadowing something dark later. (If ya know ya know) Robot/Rudy/ Rex saying “you did. But you would not like what you’ve become.” Foreshadowing cannibal Mark from an alternative dimension. And Eve calling Rudy “Rex” (if ya know ya know)
>You would not like what you've become Probably foreshadowing but not directly. Rex is definitely not referring to Cannibal Mark because they came from the same dimension as the good Mark. And cannibal mark was an evil mark. Thus, they are referring to him. They are from the/a future, not a different dimension. For example, why would they save an evil Mark? Talking to him as if he was a friend, too.
No. See Terminator. The quest to change history inadvertently causes the already know event. There are realities were Mark tells Eve, but not the one that rescues him.
Let's just stay... Rex doesn't have the brains to take control of Robot's Tech. Also Rudy can do it because he has a neuronal implant, besides of course, his intelligence.
his consciousness merged with every single one of his multiverse counterparts. that’s way too many minds on one head. i think putting him down is for his own good since he would’ve kept suffering mentally
@@baoboba Its not consciousnesses of those other Angstroms, just their knowledge & memories. Notice how he doesn't go after any of those evil Marks that hurt him in other worlds. Its the one Angstrom we know driven insane with the memories of many others blended into his brain and turning up dial on the hate he developed from the explosion incident.
@quive5705 he doesn't know... He will learn soon enough... Time is quite the essence but he will learn the truth... Only question is will he handle it?
Robot: We're from the future Mark: So you can tell me what happens next? Eve: No we're from a different version of the future Mark: You guys are dumping a lot on me right now Eve: Also I'm in love with you Mark: And that is my cue to leave
I’m a little disappointed we never got know why Angstrom Levy had the ability to access the multiverse. All we got is: he was born with this ability. BUT, I guess some mysteries are better left unsolved.
He just helplessly saw his mother get her arm bent to the point the bone is sticking out and watched his baby brother get thrown around like a ragdoll, he's probably not in the mood to "rizz it up" you cuck.
I think that's really Rex in Robot suit, because we all know that in comic Robot turned evil and wanted to "protect" earth but in his own way, which turns out to be the opposite.
Yes in the comic Robot/Rudy makes her a special belt that helps her stop ageing in reverse when ever she uses her powers so that she can finally live as an adult and not worry about becomeing a baby when she used her Monster powers a lot
That's kid thor and knockout. They're married. The introduction of those two got me hoping we could get the other guardians of the globe, especially best tiger.
@@js554 since youve read this comment ill tell you why rex blows himself up: basically robot and monster girl are gonna die to an alternative reality invincible however rex tells them to run away and saves themselves and when the invincible variant questions rex on what he has to charge up to kill him he replies: "my skeleton" and using his robot hand he charges his skeleton and explodes himself and the invincible variant effectivly saving monster girl and robot while sacrificing himself and killing the invincible variant. so in honor of rex saving him and his noble acts or whatever rudy changes him name to rex which is why atom eve calls rudy rex in this scene. its quite sad though as rex (robot rex rudy whatever you wanna call him) ends up being one of invincibles greatest foes around midway to lateway through the serious
When you think about it, Angstroms abilities already messed with the time stream like no other, considering he was also completely erased from all existences for the most part. Died across all dimensions and times. So I mean, he sort of messed with it all the most. They couldn't possibly mess it up more than it already was.
Isn’t the fact that they sent him home in of itself distributes the time stream as the original mark stayed on that planet for 20 years and went insane until the guardians went back in time to prevent mark from staying on that planet for 20 years.
In that future universe the invicible war probably didn’t happened and conquest arrived to take over earth so robot probably tried to save mark from that dimension but they would just find a mark that had already become crazy
