Hello all! Management here. There seems to be a lot of hurt feelings regarding a scene that was cut from our reaction. Due to the nature of some of the comments we need to address to you all once and for all. 1. We understand a lot of you had an emotional reaction to said scene and were hoping we shared your sentiment. Not seeing it must have been disappointing. The fact of the matter is we just didn't emote the way some other reactors did. Our reaction to that scene offered no substance. RU-vid is huge so I'm sure there are other reactors who gave you the feeling you were looking for. 2. Yall, this is a CARTOON. Calling us out of our names is ENTIRELY uncalled for and we will absolutely NOT tolerate it. Period. We are human and we can have a difference of opinion, however, do not lose perspective. Watch your mouth as well as your fingers. If ever there is something we create that you don't enjoy, you are always welcomed to exit quietly. We appreciate your support and we'll see yall in the next video! ❤😘
Yo I'm the same way. I did not care about that line. It did not make me feel anything. I get why it makes sense as a story beat, and if I squint I can kinda see why it might be affecting, but I guess I don't have it in me to care about the salvation of Nolan's immortal soul after watching him commit child abuse via war crimes for 20 minutes. Like. The show tells us over and over that Nolan is going out of his way to murder civilians on purpose, specifically in order to punish Mark for having feelings about Nolan's habit of committing murder. Then, he kneels over his child's bloody, prostrate frame and beats him to within an inch of his life. When he finally has a gut check about at least one of the many crimes he is committing, he deals with it by berating Mark for "mak[ing] me do this." It's all too real, too intimately disgusting, for me to want to watch any kind of Hollywood "Power of Love" redemption narrative about him. I really would much rather watch him die.
@@erikpng i didn't count the aliens because they were just really strong and only work in packs TBH but space riders gun is just a insane he's literally a guy on a space bike but that gun just makes him crazy deadly
Mark just saw his dad killed one of the most famous superheroes on earth without question thought it was mind control or there were some type of machine or device inside his ear and with instantly to see if He could save him speaks volume of the trust and love he has for him
Omniman was gonna have his "weekend fling" with a local and when they die of old age then complete the mission of wiping out the competition (remember, the original Guardians gave him a good fight, the second best wasn't even close. They got their butts handed to them by Battle Beast). But then Mark turned out to be a Viltrumite in powers, so he had to wipe the Guardians early because if son teamed up with them then together they might defeat him. Also, Allen the Alien said no Viltrumite abandoned a planet so I doubt Nolan can return home without knowing everyone would suspect him of being "weak". So, which was the greater shock, "Pet" (emotional) or subway (physical)?
His viltrumite heritage must be how he was capable of handling such a mental shit storm. My whole thought during this was "Mark is gonna need serious therapy"
Don't think he went back to Viltrum. This episode proved he didn't need reinforcements. Feel like he just ran away to some other planet since he himself has been compromised and infected by humanity. In his mind, a true Viltrimite would have killed Mark. Even if it was their child that stood in their way.
Infiltrating was to find out what the planet was working with strength wise. Viltrumites are ridiculously strong but they aren't invincible. Because there are things that can kill them cautious is obviously how you approach the unknown.
I think Omni-Man was supposed to weaken their forces over a period of time as he stayed on Earth and he would have to check back with Viltrum in 500 years. His original plan may have been to just wait out Mark and Debbie’s deaths so he could conquer once they’re gone. Obviously wasn’t bout to work once Mark got his powers.
In the comics, the Viltrimite people assume that you will have an innate duty to serve your home planet over what you've learned on the planet you're born on. As for the why they're sneaking in, that might get revealed in season 2, if not 2 then definitely 3.
Omni man wanted to see if humans and viltrumite blood were compatible that’s why he waited to see if Mark would get powers before he killed the guardians.
I think the plan was to conquer the earth, let Mark ruling the planet and then go to the next, so he had to have a kid and he had to make sure he was a viltromite, i think if mark never developed powers, nolan would probably just go on living normal life with deb and him and just wait for them to die and then try again.
We all been there lol this episode got us too!! Idk if you guys heard but Invincible got renewed for a second and third season well deserved because this series has been amazing start to finish. Love you guys reaction❤️❤️❤️
To answer your question, there’s actually a comic where the heroes were aware that omniman wanted to dominate, and the guardians won that fight. So if he came in trying to fight for the planet he likely would’ve lost
I just watched the entire season this week...talk about Daddy issues ! Mark has a lot to think about, consider, in order to make certain he doesn't accidentally become like his father. Omniman/Nolan probably did really at least like his life on earth, but after Mark's powers showed up he felt he had to try an speed things up for his people to invade earth...hoping Mark would help with that. Mark, though, couldn't go with those ideas/plans of his dad's people seeing them as being wrong in de-valuing any life that wasn't their own. Let's face it, they literally killed their own in a kind of purging of the "weakest" just to make themselves the strongest in the universe, then went on to conquer other worlds, destroying any that resisted. Earth is next on the list for certain. Nolan leaving the way he did may just alert his people that earth will be a problem and they'll want to eliminate such. His love for Mark is the only thing that stopped Nolan from killing him ...this time. I believe he'll be back but maybe not during next season (I think there's a season 2 on the way). That will be centered,I believe, on Mark's personal journey to becoming earth's best hope against his father's people, while aiding the new Guardians of the Globe protect their home from the threats from within. Pretty good series though it will take me a while before going after the next series when it comes out. The story and characters are interesting enough but not quite enough to have me excited about the next season.
Aww ladies. You cut two of the best lines in this. “What will you have after five hundred years!” “You dad. I’ll still have you” 😢 “Mark, so glad you’re alright. I mean after everything on the tv with you and Omniiiii.” 😂. We got a lot coming from this since they signed on for season 2 and 3.
I really enjoyed watching you ladies experience Invincible for the first time. I read the comic and they have changed some things. I enjoyed the changes. I will say if they continue this show, you are in for some of the same wild antics. WILD!! lol
That was a rough one y’all! Your reactions were priceless, as usual (“Where’s CPS?”). Looking forward to more from you guys. Do you plan to react to the final season of The Walking Dead?
They cut part of his explanation about why he was a hero. It happened during this fight in the comic, so It probably won’t be covered next season. Omniman came to weaken and conquer, but because there are 1000 odd threats to the Earth every day (demons, aliens, monsters, super villains) he wound up having to protect the planet so people wouldn’t conquer it before he could. And he had to do so much heroing that he just kinda fell into routine
I think the idea is the Viltrumite child is then supposed to go on to another planet and do the same thing, raise a child, then send him on. In that way, they slowly spread throughout the universe, having one Viltrumite per planet. the fact that their race ends in the word "mite" tells you that they are an infestation or an invasive species.
Some answers given, more questions appear. Better experience than, "Them"? :) I think when Nolan was giving Mark that speech about having to do things you don't want to because you're a Viltrumite, he was saying it more for himself than for Mark. The one thing I wish they made more clear was that the Viltrumites decimated half their own people and need to repopulate, which is part of why only one could go to a planet - they don't have enough people. They touched on it but they didn't explain the re-population aspect. Season two should be amazing! Thank you for the reaction, you ladies are amazing!
Yeah, I don’t think Omniman can go back. If they were willing to kill each other to just simply purge their weak, seems like it would be a death sentence for him to go back. So my guess is he will he might stay close, like maybe on Mars to help mark if they send more viltrumites. Or he could have just said peace out and find a lonely planet somewhere to hide and retire out. Seemed like he cared for mark, but like he said, he was only with mark for just a fraction of his life span and they don’t seem to be very sentimental.
It’s like you have a plan and the one person who can stop your plan is almost as powerful has a potential to be as powerful as you what do you do you either have to remove them as a factor completely or you have to try and convince him to join your cars enjoying your fight however it goes down is up to you but those are the only two choices luckily they sent a third choice we’re on the man can just quit his overall plan and maybe just go to a different planet however I was going to bring causality and problems to earth and Mark is really gonna have to be invincible just stop all those issues
Did Mark magically regrow all those teeth that got knocked the fuck out or are they dentures? - a little line of dialogue as an explanation would have been nice! Also, is it ever explicitly said how quickly he recovers in general especially from the two big ass-kickings he got this season from both Battle Beast and his dad? Cos both recoveries seemed quite quick considering just how brutal those beatings were!
I been waiting a looooong time for this reaction. Those gasps were very audible 😳😲😂😂🤣🤣 If yall think Omni Man is bad, wait till General Thragg gets there. He's the Viltrumite leader. 👀
@@acemanllc916 1st of all how would someone who hasn't read the comic know he exists? Second you just said he was the leader of the viltrumites, once again how would someone who hasn't read the comics know that? Mentioning anything that hasn't been explained on the show is a spoiler. Go to bed kid
Glad you guys finally finished this joint. Now that you've seen it all, do you think these last couple episodes lived up to all the hype? Folks like myself kept telling y'all how crazy shit was gonna get, but now that you've seen it, do you ladies think the show delivered on that? On another note I've heard that we really haven't seen anything yet with this show/story. People who have read the comics say it gets WAY MORE crazy from this point forward.
I think Omniman was in denial. Shutting himself off emotionally in order to do what he thinks he has to do. Honestly, as much of a villain as he seems, he's also kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. Hell, in his mind, he probably thinks he's doing what's best for everyone. Either they join the Viltrimite empire or they all die. I think he said a lot of things he didn't really mean during this fight in order to try and persuade Mark. A kind of... tough love, I guess? And when that didn't work, he just started slinging insults (as one would typically do during a fight).
There's a lot of Nolan's situation that is best explained as 'He doesn't want to do these things. He's doing them because he believes he doesn't have a choice'. And the thing is... he has REASON to think this. He's not weak, but he's NOT the strongest Viltrumite in the empire, and at this point he's probably the NICEST Viltrumite in the universe. If the Empire came for him, he has every reason to believe that he wouldn't be able to stop them.
I scour RU-vid looking for reactors reaction to the "I'll still have you dad" line and almost none edit it out, sadly this is one of them. Never seen these ladies reactions before but if this is the level of content to expect I won't be missing much by skipping it in the future.
