Invincible Season 1 Episode 8 Finale 'Where I Really Come From' REACTION!!

Nolan calling Debbie a Pet and that she doesn't matter is actually him trying to talk himself into this aswell. As seen in the Flashback, his time on Earth actually did affect him. If he truly was still 100% indoctrinated by the Viltrum ways, he would've killed Debbie the Moment she found out he murdered the Guardians, because she "didn't matter" anyway as he claimed. Not only that, he even let Art live with the Knowledge, which was another major risk. Granted he threw a lowkey threat at Art, but everything we know about Viltrumites at this point, this was still hella uncharacteristic. And when Nolan flew away, crying, it wasn't because he couldn't decide what to do. At that moment he did decide. It was either serve the Viltrum Empire which would mean to kill his Son, or abandon his Post. And as Allen said, in thousands of years there was never a incident of a Viltrumite abandoning his Mission, not even ONCE. Funny thing is that Omniman/Nolan is "nice" relative to other vitrumites. You can kind of tell he's conflicted about the whole thing but feels he has no choice. He said in episode 1 that it probably would have been better if Mark didn't get his powers... then he could at least wait out Debbie and Mark's death before he took over Earth. But since Mark's powers awakened, Nolan couldn't do that anymore. Every extra year that Mark lived is another one that Mark would become more attached to Earth and humans, so Nolan probably felt he had no more choice. And if he wasn't going to take over Earth, then the other vitrumites would eventually come. omniman is over 1000yrs old completely indoctrinated with his peoples ways. 17yrs with humans aint gonna change it. yet Marks words got to him. btw Viltrumites heal fast and take beatings, Omniman knew how far he could go

Mark can't beat Omniman. His father is hugely muscled and has probably millennia of experience. Mark is a 17-year-old with a champion high school swimmer's build. It would be like a high school swimmer fighting...The Rock.

Omni man even looks like a buff Johna Jameson.

Besides the idea that viltrumites might get stronger with age, I look at this fight in very simple terms. Mark is a thin 17 year old boy fighting his dad. A dad that is comparable to a heavy weight bodybuilding seasoned UFC or mixed martial arts fighter who is also at the top of their game. Not to mention that Nolan is a battle hardened soldier and officer. When looked at in that way it makes sense that Mark could not do much to his old man.

Saw your eyes grow wide when you saw a certain Viltrumite in the flash back. Hope that certain somebody shows in person in season three or so. Can't wait for the grand appearance.

Omniman is pretty much Kakarot if he didn't bust his coconut and forget his mission.

Out of all the amazing things this episode, I think I most enjoyed Eve´s: "I´m the pink one?!"

Mark is truly invincible. Despite the trauma his father put him through, he won the fight because his invincible spirit that even made Omni-Man stop the pummelling. When his strength matches his spirit he will have come full circle.

That sentiment exactly! Knowing what is to come, it's flippin' torture! This was the calm beginning of the comic series... Season 2 can't get here fast enough! We need it now! It's been a fun watch along with you guys.

When nolan is in the viltrumite prison and he's having "weird feelings" that he figures out is him missing debbie was when I really realized how " love " isn't a concept in their culture. That's why living as a human has such a profound impact on them.

That train scene showed that these super heroes will not get a scratch but the normal humans can't do anything and will get crushed

If only Mark wasn't so stubborn and just pretend to agree with his Dad, then make a plan afterwards, those people wouldn't have died.. that's why THINK MARK is a perfect phrase for him!

I'm stuck between wanting to buy the comics & wanting to be surprised by future seasons. Definitely a favorite show now. Mark needs to power up quickly. Maybe Immortal will help him??

Great reaction. It wasn't even a fight between Omni man and Mark. It was a one sided beating. Very intense and brutal. I loved it. I suggest you watch Jupiter's Legacy next. Its a real good super hero show on Netflix.

viltrumites are more like Asgardians than Saiyans but Allen specifically is like a saiyan in that he gets stronger every time he heals from a life threatening incident.

I don't understand the shock in people when he says his wife is like a pet. She's been alive for a fraction of a fraction amount of time that he has. He's likely conquered dozens maybe hundreds of worlds by himself. Killed billions on a whim. It'd be like getting emotionally attached to an individual ant when all you do is kill entire colonies every day. So being a pet would be high praise from my perspective. Side note. I love the train scene. Very gory. But I feel like the train would just crash the moment it hit them like running into a mountain not cut through it like a knife. Maybe if it was traveling fast enough it'd do that.

After watching this episode I realized that The Boys Homelander is an Eagle Scout compared to Omni Man...HOLY F!😳

They get stronger as they age. Mark isn't as strong as he can be. That's why he struggled to put up a fight against his father.

The old Guardians of the Globe were significantly more powerful than the new ones, and Omni Man absolutely destroyed all of them by himself. I highly doubt the Guardians could at all help Mark in beating Nolan.
