If you like it give me a thumbs up ... I have a couple more lying around on my computer that I might upload at some point.
Wherever possible I've written the long altissimo lines an octave lower to make it easier to read.
Apologies for any mistakes.
I've the pleasure of having a lesson with Mark I would advise it to anyone who can get hold of him....He has so much knowledge that will blow you away!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love Mark Turner. I still listen to Yam Yam all the time. When I first heard him, I remember nearly dropping to my knees in gratitude to hear such a combination of energy and dark introspection. But man, when he plays standards, I kind of wish he would outline the the changes a little more, and not just drape The Mark Turner Solo over every tune. No disrespect to the man. Just a personal preference.

That's like asking C Parker to play more "funky" , the reason why people transcribe Turner's solos and not the others in the same recording is because of that trademark you speak of, the reason you know is Mark Turner playing, there's other million sax players that could outline the changes in your typical bebop style fashion. Besides, he does outline the changes pretty well it's not just the expected 251 motion, and it's a great way to understand the vocabulary he developed when he plays standards since the harmony is not that complex.
