The dean of the Hotel and Tourism Management School at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University connected me to the University of Macau, so I went to the University of Macau to give a lecture and had the opportunity to tour Macau.
It was my first time going to Macau, and I was amazed by the harmonious combination of East and West. When I traveled to South America, I saw a lot of European architectural culture incorporated, and it was interesting to see that this also exists in Asia. Macau is said to be the place in Asia with the most European influences. I thought Macau was only famous for its casinos, but seeing such a diverse history mixed together made me want to make time to visit again later.
