For #INWED22, we sat down with Kate Bellingham to chat about her experience as a woman in STEM & her career. She has been a Trainee Electronic Engineer for the BBC, a Teacher, a TV and Radio Presenter as well as worked on the governments National STEM Programme. Now, as a MPhil student for the UCL Centre for Engineering Education, Kate is using her wealth of knowledge from a diverse career and looking into gender imbalance in Engineering Education.

Tomorrows World. She was always good on that. Never knew she was an qualified engineer, I don't think Tomorrows World ever mentioned it or I missed the episode where they did. I was only a 14.

Kate is great! I really miss tomorrow's world always thought they should start a new series showing modern day inventions. i used to love watching and keeping up with latest innovations etc. Could UCL not partner up with the BBC or some other major broadcaster to make a weekly programme online?
