Hey there, loving your INXS reactions. They were a pretty phenomenal group of musicians. During this tour in 91, they had been touring and recording together for 10+ years. I lived in NY at the time and saw this tour at Madison Square Garden. They were massively popular all through the 80s and into the mid 90s with the late 80s early 90s probably being their biggest era. I'm not sure if anyone has filled you in on specifics, so I'll give you a quick update. In 92 Michael Hutchence (singer) was assaulted and suffered a traumatic brain injury. In the early 90s, not as much was known about this as it is now. We understand now that a brain injury like this can cause changes in personality as well as medical issues. He lost his sense of taste and smell, he spiraled into depression and drugs, his overall behavior changed and he got into a very unhealthy relationship. In 1997 he committed suicide. INXS fans have never fully recovered from losing him and although the band has tried to bounce back, for various reasons, it has not been an easy road for them. What you are watching with these shows is a literal time capsule. As I recall, the show was a little over 2 hours. They had a ton of material to choose from. RIP Michael. Gone, but never forgotten.

There's a really good documentary on Amazon called Mystify, it's about INXS and Michael Hutchence. There are plenty other documenties and even a 2 part movie on RU-vid about the band. I thinki I'm in some kind of INXS algorithm lol 😆. I watch them all. Sad that he's not around anymore. 😢

INXS was pretty much the next band from Australia after ACCA DACCA (AC/DC) to make it internationally & especially the US. In saying that ACCA DACCA sold themselves to the US for fame which is fine but INXS always stayed true to being Aussie's. On top of that tho both bands are not the favourite of us Aussie's, proud yes, favourite no, that honour goes to Cold Chisel, they are Aussie rock royalty & no one will surpass Chisel
