I saw this in the theater in December of 2019. It was EPIC. The video and sound quality was amazing. There were people in the audience wearing INXS t-shirts and they were up out of their seats and dancing! It was a surreal moment for me. I was transported back snd it was like I was actually there. I literally cried. 💕❤️. INXS FOREVER

When I was younger I had it on VHS when it came out. I saw it in the theater in 2019 and took my girlfriend and she enjoyed the concert. It was Amazing on a theater screen.

I think they would *survive* because they were a great live band. They might have a great comeback. If not, at least they could still tour around the world. Why? Dude looks better than any contemporary artist over 30 years later. He was either so cool or so freakin hot that he's absolutely timeless. You'll never be able to convince me that the quality of music hasn't deteriorated completely in recent years - i'm sure it's not just because i'm old and miserable now and i'm living off memories of playing live baby live on cassette in 1992.

At that time INXS was the biggest band in the world. When you see this concert you can surely realize why. They don't make them like this anymore. Pure energy and vibe exchange between the band and the crowd only with the music and the live performance. I have watched it a thousand times and I am sure it will be thousands more.

The joys of filming with 35mm. It’s not shot in pixels so now we can transfer the negatives to over 8k. Hence things like the wizard of oz (1939) is now in 4k

It all depends on what they used to film the shows. This was shot on 35mm film which aren’t pixels so you can get I’m pretty 8k or even higher. But bands only used film if it was a special occasion or things like that. Then there’s the reason this concert took so long to come out cause the negatives were lost so with what they had (like the not the greatest quality 2014 release) they can’t do much in terms of quality at all. This wasn’t so much of a restoration, more a transfer of the negatives in the days where we now have 4k and stuff

When I first thought of the extremely cool harmonica in this song, which sounded artificial, I imagined they would have to put a sample. But then, that guitar player made without the dubbing effect, and it was gorgeous. And, played it while riffing that guitar. Perfect.
