This makes me… tired! I'm actually surprised that the Ioniq 5 held as many tires as it did. In fact, I kinda had the impression that perhaps you could've squeezed in one more vertically. And as I suspected, having a trunk like the Ioniq 6 really cuts down on the cargo room -another reason I'm glad I replace my M3 with an I5!

fun fact, youd actually fit more tires with the seats up in the ioniq 6. i put down a moving tarp when i switched from 20" wheels to 17" and there is space for 4 tires in the back seat. the 1 design complaint i have with the ioniq 6 trunk space is that the seats in the back dont lay down flat. you'd get sooo much more useful trunk space out of it if it did. But also... its a sedan and a rather large one at that. The trunk space is waaaay bigger than our toyota corolla. I kinda actually wish they made the ioniq 6 smaller but thats the price you pay for it sharing a platform with the ioniq 5.

Oh wow, good to know. Are you seeing a big difference in range/efficiency going to the 17s. I’m surprised 17s fit over the rotors.

@TheIoniqGuy my weekly commute went from 4.1mi/kwh to 4.8-9mi/kwh average. It seems like it's 20-25% better in city and 15 to 20% better highway.

Love your videos, I always learn something new. Quick question - I think you said that you put your Ioniq5 in Econ mode to test the efficiency. I also have an AWD ioniq 5 and I often have a 60 mile interstate drive (one way) and always have to consider the round trip range but I don’t normally put it in Econ mode. Is that something you would recommend? Thinking about it makes sense.

I my point of view, you compared apple to oranges. It would have been also interesting to compare EV6 to Ioniq5. That being said, i didn't look in your past videos if you already made this kind of comparison.

Bold sliding tires so close to the light colored headliner of the ioniq 5😂. I got a 6ft+ bookcase back there which is better than sever midsize suvs I’ve owned.

You have the latest infotainment update if you bought a car from November. Any subsequent updates will be downloaded wirelessly to your car and it’ll alert you when available

It hurts watching you putting the tires in the Ioniq5 with the white interior. I have had my EV9 since late December. Recently I switched to summer tires and I have horrible vibration at around 67-69 km/h. I have read in EV9 forum (Sweden) about other owners having similar issues with vibrations due to summer tires.

Vestiges of winter tire testing lol. I think if I counted every tire in my house it totals 24. Some of those are old sets for old cars I no longer have
