I’ve had my Ioniq 6 RWD for about 1 year now but for some reason I have the white/grey interior and folding mirrors and my front trunk is a huge compared to the one you showed in your video not sure why maybe they changed a few things from the 2023 model to the 2024 models anyway enjoy the new car great channel
I'm not sure but I do know that the 5N doesn't have the connectors to install trailer lighting so if you were hoping to tow, it doesn't sound like it's not going to be as ideal as the regular Ioniq 5 that comes wired for trailer lighting
can you also design a magnetic phone holder? it is hard to use OTS phone holder due to the unusual shape of vents on Ioniq 5. we will be able to utilize the magnetic strip for this.
You're doing great work, Congrats on your wedding!! I'd like to install the auto unlock on my Ioniq 6 SEL. Is it difficult? I don't see SEL in your instructions.
IIRC the DC to DC convertor in an EV puts out between 14 volts and 14.5 volts to charge the 12 volt battery. This is the same voltage put out by an ICE car's alternator, and should be enough to keep an AGM battery fully charged.

Getting my ioniq 5 namsan next month and been following you from the UK for a few months thank you, you have been very helpful and informative in your videos.
I have three kids and I bought the Ioniq 6 SE in January. I'm lucky in that my wife owns a 3 row SUV we can use when cargo room/interior space is a concern. That said, the 6 is a five seat car and you can fit five people in it. I'm not sure why so many people who have one kid, or maybe just think they *might* have a kid in a few years, think they need an SUV/crossover. Sedans are fine! They are fuel efficient and look good and have generally enough space for your needs!

I work in a hyundai dealership. I fan see in the system that there is a new car showing in my learning center. Its calles Ioniq 9. So it probably not going to be call Ioniq 7
I am curious how efficient the system is to leave on.. like if you only had a fridge running but wanted to leave it on after a storm for 3 days... the ioniq battery should have plenty of capacity, but does just having the system on eat the battery quickly?
I am not through the whole video yet, but something like the ecoflow delta 3 pro is pretty cheap at 3k and would make your system more robust... that ecoflow will output 8kw at 220v, and has a 4kw battery... the small battery isn't an issue because your car can keep the ecoflow topped off at 110v.. so this ups what your system can handle for power spikes, lets you use 220v breakers, and would let you drive off while running off the 4kw battery to charge up the car if power comes back on in town first.
One thing I’d buy for my IONIQ 5 sel is a front floor bin for storage. I see something similar on Amazon but it has a partition. If you made a bin without a partition we could use it for bags or purses similar to what the ev6 has. Since the genesis gv60 has less storage than the Ioniq 5 a similar floor storage bin would probably be desired by those owners
I don't get why Hyundai couldn't automatically lock the doors when you walk away from the Ioniq 5, considering they lock automatically if you walk up to the car and don't touch the door handles after they have unlocked.
Congratulations! I recommend quantity with a basic level of quality is good for your current channel size, maybe once your subscriber base increases more then pushing the quality higher would be better.
Who's been misinforming him about AGM batteries? The car can charge them just fine. It seems that Hyundai themselves switched to using AGM batteries around halfway through the 2022 production year. It's just hard to tell because only the part numbers are different from the outside. 🤷
Congrats on everything. I prefer quantity over quality. You do a great job giving your opinion and providing information which is all I need. I don’t need the flash or studio effects.
I cant say I enjoy videos about the Model Y, but I DO enjoy videos comparing other things TO the Model Y (usually because it really emphasizes how dumb a lot of things on Teslas are lol)

You should go over what settings you use with SunnyPilot on the Comma 3x when you do your long-term review. Very few Comma Ai reviewers report what settings work best for them. It would be interesting to see how you have it tuned for the Ioniq 5.
Hey Corbin, great comprehensive update! For your question, I do think that focusing on quality videos, as long as they don’t severely detract from your upload schedule, is a good idea! I actually have an interesting idea to pitch you. I’m in the Boston area until mid-August and I own an Ioniq 6. I’ve been hoping to replace the silver hyundai badges with black hyundai or even H morse code logos, but exact fits for the Ioniq 6 are seemingly not sold at all in the US. Do you think badges are a potential 3D printable product? If so I’d be happy to let you use my car as a test dummy for replacing badges since yours is a lease. I could pay for the material we use as well, and you could potentially add custom badges to the items you sell. As you said clearly in your video you have a ton going on, so if we couldn’t work something out for that reason alone it’s a shame but understandable. Let me know what you think!
I'm not sure how AGM batteries need a different voltage to charge at. Heck, my 2017 Soul plus came with an AGM battery from the factory. Which also is kinda ironic that the more expensive EGMP stuff didn't come with this battery, but my $26k Soul did (Brownstone Special Edition, almost top of the line with features for that generation).
