The iOptron CEM70 is a high capacity mount suitable for permanent setups. In this video I share my feelings about the mount which was on loan from First Light Optics for review.
CEM - Centre balanced Equatorial Mount. The design is an alternative to German Equatorial Mounts but is highly capable. I used it with my Evostar 80ED and StellaLyra 6" and 8" Cassegrain scopes for lunar, planetary and deep sky astrophotography.
I had great fun using this mount and I really didn't want to give it back!
