iOS updates slow down your phone. It'll get faster with new betas but never as fast as iOS 10. I'm talking boot up times and app loading NOT animations which are obviously faster.
I'm not entirely sure because he didn't "update." All of those phones look factory reset to me, so nothing from previous versions to bog it down. you're right about it getting faster as more betas come out.

I can't wait for the official release because iOS 11 is like the modern day iOS 7 coming with huge changes and a newer and fresher look. Hopefully if gets faster on the official release.

i normally don't comment but WHY does it matter of the time difference! it is just milliseconds away! you have more important stuff in your life than a delay of milliseconds. The iPhones are really quick anyway!
Inside Meme That doesn't matter too it's much slower than IOS 11 and it wasn't just 100 milliseconds sometimes 2 seconds. And for the people that want to keep their iPhone 7plus fast (me included) 2-3 seconds slower does matter. It's ok you have your own opinion IOS 11 isn't slow no but it's slower than iOS 10.
Running the beta on my 5s. I’ll admit texting in messenger can get kind of glitchy, but honestly my 5s has always been really slow at starting up apps so I’m honestly not noticing any differences. And I assume it’ll get better once properly released, so perhaps don’t update now, but if you’ve got a 5s don’t be afraid to do so 💁
It’s worth noting that this is not only a beta but the very first developer only beta. The public release isn’t for another few months, so to say definitively ‘iOS 11 is slower’ is quite ridiculous at this point

Discovered something new on my iphone 5s IOS 11 installed as you mentioned earlier in a video no slide option for notifications but a device like iphone 5s when you long press the notification it stimualtes as if its a 3D touch please do check it out.!

Download a supported/signed firmware from ipsw.me (10.3.1 or 10.3.2), Go on itunes and shift click on update firmware on the iPad and choose the firmware file you just downloaded and voila.
Just remember guys that this is a DEV BETA 1. This isn’t even a public beta so it will be VERY SLOW AND UNSTABLE. Though in my experience it is laggy but the new features are nice. This will go through at least a few dev betas THEN a few public betas THEN it’ll be out fully.
I have question? When iOS 11 comes out for the public how do people get if you have the beta? Do you have to delete it to get the public version? And if you delete it will it erase that data they you used with the beta?
Hello @EverythingApplePro i've notice you said that in IOS 11 you can no longer press or slide a notification on the lockscreen, i just found out that you need to slide up your notification to reveal all your notifications then you can either 3d touch it or long press the notification of any apps to go directly to that app from your lockscreen. None of this is even accurate, it's just a beta. There is no need for them to make the beta run fast. It only needs to be fast when it actually releases
I’m running the developer build as a day to day and I’ve only encountered a few bugs. I’m impressed on how close to a finished product it is compared to previous iOS betas and I’ve only had to restart my device once because of an issue ( before you hate, yes I backed up my phone first )
So I decided to take the dive into IOS 11 on my iPhone 6S and it runs great. I also installed it on my old 5S. DO NOT update if you are on the 5s, when using it it has crashed, froze, and was incredibly slow. Please don’t do it. If you have a 6S like me you should be okay, and I certainly recommend it.
Btw... I’m running iOS 11 on my iPad mini 4. IT’S SO HORRIBLE!!! IT CRASHES, IT GIVES ME A HISSY FIT, AND IT WON’T CHARGE OCCASIONALLY LASTING NEARLY A 1/2 HR!!! What do you think?
I still don't like it that everything looks like apple music now. With the big font and that huge white empty space at the top. I hope they will fix that. If they do then I'm loving iOS11 Much more then iOS10. But still iOS9 will be the best for me....at this point.

Ivan Speaks well duh, they add more features.. its not that they purposefully make it slower, they just add more stuff that it tough for the iPhone to run..
they do on purpose make them a little slower with every update because of the bad programming so you will more likely buy their new phones.. they do DEFINETLY know
What do you think of having a feature called "Swipe to Hang Up" basically swipe right to hang up, and on the second swipe having to confirm if you wanna hang up. Instead of going to the call and hanging up.

Common sense should tell that the iPad Pros are releasing with iOS 10. Why would they an OS that’s not even fully built Developers Beta on a production iPad to sell to consumers?
Few things I’ve noticed are battery drain it’s huge. Also I haven’t seen mention of the integration of workflows in the share capabilities. I noticed it today using imovie on the iPhone.

Look at the 5s barely standing the antutu graphics test, the exact same test that was made when 5s was released and that was able to run with no problem. I can't understand why primary functions that "old phones"use to do effortlessly , become so difficult. Aren't the requirements the same for the same tasks? Unfortunately if we don't update iOS apps become unavailable, if we update they start to work badly.
I don't know why people just wait for the real version to come out, of course its gonna be slow and buggy, its called a BETA. IOS 11 is gonna be fully designed for the iPhone 8 with the A11 chip which is gonna be 20 times faster than the a10.
