I made this! Here’s a few answers to some stuff you mentioned in the video. 1. The control center is different, yeah. Making the control center perfectly accurate would be extremely difficult given how different the modern CC is compared to iOS 7. Since I can’t actually move around the “hitboxes” for the buttons in the control center, I’m forced to use the iOS 7 layout, and I figured a control center styled after the tweak BigSurCenter rather than modern iOS would be the best fit. 2. Yep, I know, the keyboard looks weird. I think I tried to figure this out at some point, but unlike other iOS assets, the background for the keyboard is stored in artwork files rather than PNGs that I can easily replace. I think WinterBoard themes might be able to change the keyboard background, I’ll look into it. 3. The multitasking issue. This one completely eludes me. I have no idea why it happens. My leading theory is that somewhere in the tar archive used to replace system files is a cache/configuration file for Whited00r that isn’t supposed to be replaced. This project was originally just supposed to be an easy installer for LegoNickD’s Limed00r 13, and the multitasking issue was still around when it was just that. I truly have no idea where or how it started, nor any clear concept of how to fix it. I’ll just have to keep looking through the files until I find the root of the problem. 4. ATM isn’t actually new; it’s short for AppTimeMachine, and in Whited00r 7.1 it actually replaces the App Store entirely. I decided to bring back the original App Store application and give AppTimeMachine its own icon just in case either are ever fixed with tweaks. 5. The lag and battery drain I see you’ve noticed can be somewhat remedied. For lag, turn off the rounded switches. Rendering the circles actually takes quite a bit of processing power compared to the default switches, at least according to the setting description in Whited00r Settings. As for battery life, avoid using Wi-Fi as much as you can and keep it on Airplane Mode all the time. Airplane Mode is especially effective for iPhones, since iPhones still run cellular stuff in the background even without a SIM card, but it may help a little for your iPod as well. 6. The lack of new features mostly comes down to me having no idea how to program my own iOS applications/tweaks. I can make and replace assets, I can change fonts, and I can alter text, but I can’t really make any new stuff that wasn’t already there. Everything done so far has been a matter of very convincing asset replacement. Did you know that the custom “Slide to unlock” text on the Lock Screen is actually an image that replaces the arrow knob from iOS 3’s Lock Screen? I also edited some .strings files to make the normal slide to unlock text invisible, completing the effect. So yeah, that’s about it! Hopefully, RU-vid won’t auto remove this comment like it so often does nowadays. If you see this, let me know if there’s anything I should add or change for the next update! I’ve been thinking about replacing the Lock Screen battery indicator image with something more modern and maybe figuring out the keyboard thing.
Also, if there was a new version of limed00r revolved in the future, how would you update? Do you just do the same terminal process each update until a possible ipsw is released
I never expected you to even notice my video at all! Let alone make this outstanding long comment explaining everything! 1. There's nothing wrong with the control center especially the theme, the only issue I have is the fact that the Airplane mode and some other toggles give a dialogue box saying "This feature isn't available" 2. A simple flat grey-ish keyboard with white keys will do the job, it doesn't have to be a one by one replica. 3. If you actually succeed to fix the multitasking, make it not actually run the apps in the background, cause that will drain the battery and resources of these old weak devices (also if it's possible, make the multitasking look like modern iOS, not iOS 7) 4. This one isn't a big deal at all, afterall Cydia still works and you can sideoad IPAs. 5. We barely need WiFi in these old devices at all since Safari can barely load any websites, so turning it off to save battery isn't a big deal, and I was expecting the round switches to just be picture replacements but it makes sense that they drain the battery since the hitbox is different. 6.Here is where my suggestions begin: If possible: - When the device is charging, don't make the background go black, just leave the wallpaper - Put the battery percentage inside the battery icon - Make the app opening animation more like modern iOS, not iOS 7, mainly by not having all the other icons of the home screen zoom in or out while the app animation is playing. - Make the unlock animation at least like iOS 4 - Fix the dialogue box appearance, by adding a drop shadow, and making the button texts blue instead of this weird white with an inner shadow and also darkening the background. - Get the new iOS 18 wallpapers And that's about it! I'm still shocked at the fact that you saw this video! And by the way I made a tutorial video on how to install which is going crazy popular on my channel and it has some crazy desktop wallpaper and people are talking about more of the desktop wallpaper rather than the actual video which is hilarious. today I went back to limed00r but I tried your video to fix Cydia on iOS 3 again, it asked me to update so I updated but for some reason it didn't actually update and now it won't ask me to update anymore

@@revannebiyev4973I don't know if there are any themes that make iOS 9 look like iOS 17, and it's not possible to get this theme on iOS 9, it only works on iOS 3.1.3, and you can't downgrade an iPhone 4s to iOS 3.
You can't upgrade an iPhone 4s to iOS 3, minimum is iOS 5, and this isn't iOS 17, it's just a theme, a skin, it looks like iOS 17 but in reality it's iOS 3
