Apple needs to give us the opposite of gaming mode. Instead of lowering quality to reduce latency for gaming, make a music mode that increases latency to stream higher quality.
Ya that’s why Apple has to enable aptX or aptX HD. Idk what’s stopping them from doing it tho. Probably cuz they want AirPods to just use their own ALAC and prevent other Buds from using it.
They have hearing aid feature, its fun even when you are not who needs it, but it works pretty good. Its under Settings / Accessibility / Audio & Visual / Headphone Accommodations
I would suggest turning on the loud sound reduction option. That used to be what was called adaptive transparency, and what it would do is that when you were in transparency mode, and there was a loud sound, like something heavy splatting onto the ground, it would make that quiet, so it doesn’t hurt your ears. Or just any sounds that are really loud. It doesn’t hurt to have it on, it’s actually better. Or like that example you said at the end, a sudden chainsaw you weren’t expecting, lol
Voice isolation was available before this update which was accessed the same way that you showed. Is this voice isolation more specific to the AirPods, does it actually improve the sound quality on calls? Audio quality on calls with the AirPods have always been not particularly good for me.
My mom couldn’t understand why I got the AirPods Pro in the beginning. She thought I was crazy to spend $250 on them, until she got herself a pair. I gave her my gen 1 when I got the gen 2 and she loves them! She even upgraded to gen 2 as well and uses them more than I use mine. Best headphones I’ve ever owned.
Would suggest 'reverse' conversation mode i.e. pause music/podcast/audiobook when having a conversation (not just lower volume) then play when conversation stops
Do you have any idea if the hearing aid function coming out later this year is supposed to be better than the current hearing aid function available for AirPods Pro ? Thanks.
Markus, please take this with the best intentions. No hate or bad meaning behind this. I feel you need to let the guests talk more. It should be 60 plus percent them talking and you 40 or less percent listening and asking questions. Your stories are great. But heard multiple times. Let them talk about their experiences, their feelings, their good, bad, ugly, and preferences. Love your pod cast. Have learned a lot from it. So a huge Ty
My AirPod pro 2 now don’t work as well for distance I used to walk all around my work in a machine shop without any problems and now they glitch out pretty close now walking around machines
AirPods Pro 2 is easily one of my best investments. I can’t wait for the future updates tho there is some bugs with the latest firmware that apple need to fix asap
