My parents had a Samsung phone for 6 years, it was about 90$ and came with over a year worth of data, it held up in very good shape too!

Before I was an IOS fan because of the simple and clean operating system. However after both operating system (android and iOS) grow, they are pretty good. Honestly, for me, nowadays I prefer android due to the fact that they provide many different specs and price for the smartphone. I choose Oneplus🥰🥰

Tried to use an iPhone once, couldn't figure out how to use one and that still hasn't changed. Android user though: to me, Android is just easier to use in my opinion.

Speaking of Android customization, I use NookPhone Launcher, the Nook Phone's ringtone, and the Nook Phone's tri tone beep from ACNH for customization. (Yes, I basically turned my phone into a NookPhone. All it's missing is a white Nook Inc. leaf decal on a green case, which I plan on getting to complete the look.)

Honestly I have this fight with my cousin all the time, but this video taught me that it doesn't matter the phone you have. I'm happy with my android, and he's happy with his iPhone.

I’ve had both….. In my own experience, Android is better. They’re *slightly* cheaper, they’re more open to accessories and can connect with more devices. However, after I switched to IOS, I feel like I can’t switch back because of how incompatible with other devices IOS is. I have accessories that I bought for my iPhone that I can only use with it, soooooo if I were to switch back, all of those devices, including AirPods, would end up being useless hunks of junk. Android is also easier to use, and personally smoother and performs better than the Apple. Edit: I like my apple, don’t get my wrong, but I’m my personal *OPINION*, Android is more well rounded, and comparing my old Note 10+ and iPhone 12 ProMax, I had a better overall experience with the Note 10+. I’m not a professional, so by all means do your own research and pick for yourself

The thing I don't get about some people is they are on one side but have never experienced the other side. So I have family members who are die hard iPhone users but they have never used an android phone. They act like experts but they actually do not know what they're talking about. People call me when they have phone problems so I've actually experienced both systems extensively and for my money android is the one I get less calls about. That might say something more about the userbase as android users tend to be more tech savvy and fix there own problems

My samsung fell down a lot of times, it had water in it and it fixed itself (i didn't take it to the repair!) It is from 2017, they sadly say that it will die in may due to the fact im not paying from then (the time i needed to pay finished) and the surprising thing is that the phone can still handle games like among us, minecraft and even fornite (i tried it) and after may.. i wondered if i maybe buy an iphone.. but nah im getting a samsung again, can't change my mind. (If anyone wonders, it's a samsung galaxy j3 2017) May i add, it still has system updates!

as someone who used both, you can't play sa1 or sa2 without having to do all technical stuff, but for android you can just download an emulator of the store.

i think the pinnacle of phones was for me the samsung s5 because the removal battery was a godsend. However this is where companies got greedy and stopped making it removal. I think waterproofing started the s6 or so can't remember.

I switched from my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to an iPhone 11, kinda a downgrade and almost regretted it, then got the iPhone 13 pro, and fell in love with it ever since. On paper, I know the S21 Ultra beats the iPhone 13 pro by a long shot, but what made me fall in love with apple’s ecosystem is the regular updates, practicality and just the overall simplicity of the phone/OS. I can see why people love IOS so much

iPhone is by no means easy to use. For example, transferring a file from one app to another required "airdropping" to an iPad and "airdropping" back to the same iPhone to open up in the respective app. It was a hassle.

I had an iPhone 6 for 3 ish years it started running slow and running down battery quickly. Had the battery replaced and not only did the battery life increase but it started running quicker and glitching less. Strange as that shouldn't have even affected it but it did🤷🏻‍♂️

The only things I miss about my Samsung is that a few apps I had I can't find on the App Store and the customization. Although my iPhone 11 feels a bit smoother in performance and, in a way, feels easier to use.

I prefer Android because I have more control over security and what apps I can install. Plus even after a phone gets discontinued, I can port newer versions and security patches to it myself. The fragmentation of Android is only an issue if you use any phone beyond Google or Samsung.

What’s so interesting about these debates on which is better Is that people will debate on things they don’t use. Like the features your debating on you most likely don’t use it correctly or it’s main purpose. Especially the kids in high school. the quickest way to win a debate in school whether you have a iPhone or Samsung is to ask them what do you know about the iPhone or Samsung. 9/10 they don’t even know anything about the phone there debating.

I literally get picked on at school for having an android my phone was only around $400 dollars and theirs was like $1200 and the specs are very similar and my phone even has better ram then the iPhone 11 and 12

I switched back to iOS in Nov last year after 4 years being with android as I looked back with rose tinted glasses to my iOS days and thought how user friendly and amazing Iphone was.......I massively regret this decision, I very much look forward to this contract finishing and reverting back to Android

I’m trying to play a game I played for 10 years called Wartune, I play Wartune hall of Heroes ( HoH ) on iOS but Apple won’t approve a update for a game I love, I feel so conflicted like I’m force to change to android just to play Wartune. Android approved Wartune updates but Apple didn’t, I play on iPad and iPhone. Am I force to switch ? I do wanna get updates that bad but don’t know what to do.

I had the First Google phone. I loved the G1 but I remember on January 2009 I paid 600 bucks for it at T-Mobile. As such an awesome phone for the time. Now days I am using the IPhone 12 and love it. Next upgrade will probably be the IPhone 15.

They're both great phone OSs. I don't really see the point of arguing over which one is better. I had an Iphone 7+, and now a Galaxy A20, and I liked both.

I was using iPhone for about 2 to 3 years.. I had an iPhone 5S, then an iPhone 6S. But during that time, I was often playing with a small Cricket Wireless smartphone that ran on Android. I heard about Samsung's Galaxy series of phones and in June 2018, I decided that it was time for me to switch to Android full time. I essentially switched from the iPhone 6S to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Had it for about 3 years before getting my current device, the LG V60 ThinQ 5G UW. Keep in mind: Just because I moved away from iOS that doesn't mean that I don't like Apple products at all. In fact, I love their laptops and iMacs. I am making my music and editing videos on my MacBook Pro.

android is just so much easier to which is why many more people have it its also the more affordable option ios is the less affordable but the better software and a less chance of getting a virus but both ios and Android lack some features in my opinion i perfer Android it just has more features but like i said its not the better os

Idk which is better but I prefer iOS cuz I’ve had nothing but negative experiences with android devices My first phone was an iPhone 4 It was used by 2 people before i got it, but it worked just fine and I don’t remember any glitches I stopped using it cuz I forgot the password And later on it had audio issues but it was fine when I used headphones Then there was a Samsung galaxy s3 It was slightly used by my aunt, and it was missing its on/off button It worked ok for a few months, but then it started glitching like crazy Then it turned off 3 years later I charged it and it finally turned on (charging it didn’t work for a long time but this time it worked) It barely worked, for a few months. It was glitchy, and it needed lots of updates so it was kinda useless, since trying to download the updates jsut made the phone glitch more Then it had a seizure and stopped working Guess I’ll try to turn it on again in 2024 Then I got my iPad in (February) 2020 It’s an iPad mini 4, so it’s kinda old, but still newer than the phones I had before Also this iPad was brand new when I got it, so it’s the best working out of all of these But anyways, it’s been about a year since I got it, and other than the occasional app crashing, it’s totally fine Then, in late 2020 I got my huawei tablet, a mediapad t3 10 It was also brand new, and its even newer than my iPad, though it’s still kinda old But anyways, a few months after getting it, the speaker is garbage, and apps randomly freeze. And the worst part: when the apps freeze it tells me to write a review to the developer of the app when the freezing is the tablet’s fault, not the app’s I’ve used the same apps on my iPad and it’s perfectly fine Also the speakers don’t sound better even when I used headphones I’ve tried wired and wireless but they both sound awful with the tablet, but they sound great with my iPad And don’t even get me started on how long it takes to open an app Not to mention I have to click on the app multiple times for the app to open And it’s almost 2x as thick as my iPad, and is much heavier. It can’t even stay on my stand without it falling over And then my friend told me about her Samsung tablet. I don’t remember what tablet it was, but she said it was kinda glitchy and when she heard my tablet’s speaker she said it was like the speaker on her tablet so it also has a bad speaker But she said it glitches and gives her charge and idk how that’s even possible So the iPad is the best device I’ve ever had, and the Samsung phone is the worst Samsung, I hope your newer phones are better Edit: ok I still prefer iOS but I don’t care that much anymore, pls ignore this essay lol

Out of all these phones I've experienced, my pixel 7 pro is hands down the best phone I've ever had the pleasure of using
