Sensor data produce enormous amounts of data. How do you process such data masses in realtime to draw conclusions?
Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the next wave in the era of computing. Today we have 3 times more IoT smart devices than humans on our planet. These devices are not just capable of communicating with each other, but also perform streaming analytics, make intelligent decisions, interact with us and provide valuable insights. The rapid increase of IoT devices and the accelerated rate of data generation is motivating industries to create solutions and new business models to continuously capture, process, and store the streaming data to achieve smarter, more reliable, and effective outcomes. They are greatly investing in real-time AI streaming analytics applications to sense, understand, and act upon the streaming data for anomaly detection, image and video analysis, alerting, forecasting, and others. The advancements in cloud technologies, containerization, and Kubernetes are further aiding the entire IoT ecosystem immensely by making them scalable, durable, easily updated and automated, and standardized to meet the growing demand for processing.
In this presentation, you will learn about IoT, and AI-powered streaming analytics use cases, such as network optimization in telecom, contact tracing in healthcare, predictive maintenance in manufacturing, etc.
