I don’t know about you, but I really believe Kirk Ferentz has proven to be one of the best coaches in the country. He doesn’t get a lot of 4 or 5 star recruits all he’s done is win.
In 1960 Evy told his players that even though they lost against Minnesota the prior week, if they beat OSU soundly they would still have a chance to go the Rose Bowl. The score: Hawks - 35 and OSU 12. Quite a beat down.
+TheRodFarva Yes, it's one of the extremely rare years this has happened as OSU has pretty much owned the Hawks year in and year out. In fairness, the games seem to be more competitive, as a whole over the past 20 years.
Ugh....so sad that OSU has owned the Hawks for so many years! The way the program is trending it will continue for awhile. Hey, at least they got this rare win in big time style.
