her passing and playmaking ability is wildly underrated. People focus on all the deep threes but theirs nobody I would want more handling the ball in a pick and roll.
She went to my rival highschool where my brothers went too and they told me she would practice everyday men’s and women’s practices. She was considered the best in the state long before she became to fame so cool she’s becoming an absolute legend.
We’re proud to have such an exceptional student-athlete at Iowa. She could’ve transferred anywhere but chooses to remain here… I love taking my daughters to watch her lead the team 😊
I watch her play on TV and have no idea how she makes some of those shots. We watched her in the playoffs last year and I thought she was more entertaining to watch on the court than any other basketball player at any level right now (men and women).
@@iliketurtles536 more entertaining to watch on the court than any other basketball player at any level right now (women's only) there i corrected it for you.. I am hooked but you seriously can't be crazy enough to compare this level to men's.
@@coolasta1987 nba is boring nowadays …just iso ball and they swing around for 3s. Predictable. I only watch nuggets cause joker is an interesting playmaker. 90s nba was awesome
I heard she's got a lousy GPA and is skipping classes to focus on her social media platform . Oh my bad that's angel Reese at lsu . Only reason any one knows reeses name is because of Caitlin Clark.
I live in the midwest and currently play aau ball and I can confidently tell you these All Iowa Attack team dont mess around even till this day. They win everything.
At the highschool range Caitlin's jumper definitely had an awkward hitch at release, as well as an off-hand that needed to be fixed. It's insane how quickly she fixed that before she finished her freshman college season. Can't wait to see how she does in the league
omg every single one of the clips from the game at 3:46 are clinics. Right from the go the first clip someone in crowd yells "overrated" as CC shoots a stepback pull up middie off the handle and absolutely darts it in, then each successive clip is Caitlyn answering the hecklers' accusations in the coldest way possible. She is just on another level. She's inspiring generations of young women to believe in themselves and ultimately revolutionizing women's' basketball. CC is so fun to watch now, but it's hard not to be hyped for the future of the sport considering the amount of eyeballs on it right now witnessing greatness.
Behind the basket in the stands from 0:05-0:35 is Iowa HC Lisa Bluder in the black Iowa sweater, and Iowa AC Jan Jensen in the white Iowa v neck. They knew from early on.
Most players play the game. A few actually understand the game and how it moves. Even fewer understand how humans move and know how to exploit footwork. Amazing player. Beautiful to watch her game IQ at double the other players.
Great talent. I am curious that no one seems to pick her up early enough. She appears to get a lot of uncontested top of the key jumpers with the defender backing off. Did they not get the memo that she has range? Also, on about half her contested drives you can see her pushing off. Now having said all that her handles are really good and her step back is lethal. And then there's that shot... Wow
She’s a monster but got some trey young in her-can leave the team plan and try to save a game by herself. I watched some games where when they were down she just started taking logo 3’s. But like I said she’s still a monster tho
I am surprised she never set / broke/ the record for 3 pt shots make in a game during her HS career. That would be, instead, a player I had the luck to watch play in HS......Kelli Kamida of Mark Keppel HS in Calif....she downed 18 treys during 2014-15 season. But that was broken about 2 yrs. ago by someone else.
@HannahDisponett And a few people during the 2023 Final Four had the nerve to claim that she was nothing more than a flavor of the month. More like the flavor of the decade.
Look at the first college game and no one in the stands and now you can’t get a ticket great impact on female sports and I love the way she always stops to take photos and give her autograph that is class can’t imagine being a little girl playing basketball and saying hey maybe I’m the next star plus an academic all American
@@BrianKiddDevDesignFreddy owes me a dollar since 1968 when he was in JUCO at Burlington, Iowa. I loaned him a dollar to dry his laundry when the change machine ate his last one, and by chance never saw him again😁I wonder what a dollar plus interest would be now, LOL. Freddy was a real fun loving hoot.
Q: Which D1 School owns the BEST COMBINED Fball+Basketball Record in the Same Season/Year. In NCAA HISTORY? A: The 2007-08 Kansas Jayhawks. 49-4... 2007-08 KU Fball/// 12-1, 2008 BCS Orange Bowl Champions. 2007-08 KU Basketball/// 37-3, 2008 National Champions. ^^^ STILL a Record.
Basically? Lol..Clark has been HATED ON her whole career. Now these stupid old&newer WNBA players "hating on her." When Clark could up their salaries in 3yrs!
HAS NOTHING to do with her being "white." That Iowa/LSU gm was fantastic. She & Reese were fun watch. Clark especially. Passes like Magic/Shoots like Curry/Basketball IQ like Bird
Your eyes tell the body what to do. How much pressure to put on the ball, where to aim the gun, and where to throw the punch. It's a learned skill ..... but only after hundreds of hours of dedicated practice. However, only a few gifted people carry it to the next level. The Michael Jordan's, The Mike Tyson's and so many others. She is that good. I hope the WNBA doesn't set out to destroy her. At this point ....it doesn't look good.
The fact that Pistol Pete's all time scoring record has stood for over 50 years, with NO 3 point shot, & in just 3 years of college play when freshmen weren't allowed to play by NCCA rules.
What I like most about her, I saw several videos; that she is natural, she is herself, period. His basketball style is similar to Curry's and mine when he had healthy knees; you ran the court, cool layups or three-pointers from home.
