I agree, when there's no video, it feels like something is off kilter. Luckily, there are lots of old videos in the archive, which I always revisit and make sure to comment on and like every episode because it helps their channel grow. They've got a lot of shorts too, which I love!

Thanks for the tour! My American Grandmother used to make really great fresh baked bread. She always thought I was weird because A) I loved to eat it fresh out of the oven before it cooled down and B) I liked the crust. Lol.
Biscuits and gravy is my fav. I was raised in the south My grandmother used to make it for the family every Sunday after church. I used to make it every Sunday when I moved to Florida using her recipe of homemade gravy and southern biscuits. I rarely make it homemade now. I buy the grands southern frozen biscuits and a can of country gravy definitely not the same as homemade but I’m very picky with my gravy ❤
Thank you SO much for taking us along! I just a good fair! That’s a great one! We have elk here in the smoky mountains of western NC. Elk were hunted to extinction in the area by the mid-1800s, but a successful 2001 reintroduction project brought them back to the park. They’ve long been dropping calves outside the park and they’ve become quite a nuisance to farmers here. They are beautiful. You can. Hear them bugle, it’s a very loud noise, to call the calves and they cross the river. Y’all should come visit one day… Gosh the food looked so good and I’d be all about the food! Times like that so make us miss days of old and family. I don’t care how old you are, you never outgrow the need for a parent. You had good parents, I can tell. Are you going back again? Or is that the end for this year. Im curious what kind of cheese you got . It’s nice to see y’all enjoying yourselves and having so much fun. Craig did very well. I know you were tired when you got home! No trouble sleeping!
That would be so fun to see the Elk in the wild. We get excited to see deer at our fence line 😊 there are lots of deer but we still get excited to see them unless we are driving… they can certainly cause a lot of car accidents. The fair is almost over. Next year I’m hoping to do 3 shorter days so it doesn’t wear us out. It’s always so much fun and brings back a lot of memories. ❤️
FFA was one of my fave things about high school. I raised a pig one year. Also did wood work and made stools. Plus I learned how to weld, which I thought was interesting and fun. I'm a girl but half of us in there were, it was a small town.
yeap, many memories from being in it for sure! I didn't like my teacher but I loved the class a bunch. I guess it's nice to do things out of your wheel house at times. Not anything I'd envisioned being in while little but it was good times.@@ourdailyview
I'm proud of Craig for trying the havarti cheese raspberry grill cheese sandwich with Chipotle sauce it's different, and that's good 👍I feel like this helps Craig try more foods and new ones

Can you purchase the ones that won ribbons? Oh, poor Craig looks hot. I didn't expect it to be as crowded as it was on a weekday!
The purple ribbon is the best but blue is also first place. I don’t think any of the produce or food items are for sale. The livestock is for sale after the fair I believe.

I was a fair lover all my life!!! Seneca falls fair was nice and once greenacreshad a local fair about 20 years ago once we had one on Lantana but now that I think of it - our local family fun skating rink opened.!!! Astro skate. I should stop in bnext time I see cars there. I pass it by a few times a week. I used to go there a 1000 times I bet. I could just go around 10 times ❤️❤️

I live in Western Pennsylvania and know that Iowa is one of the biggest and best state fairs in the country. Have any of you tried fried cheesecake on a stick and fried batter dipped cookies from a cast iron shape design. They are usually covered with cinnamon sugar or powder sugar. It is not a funnel cake. Drank icy cold beer and got a “brain freeze 🥶 “! Wish I do some shopping on your excursions! Keep on smiling 😊
I always love seeing all the animals at the fairs... They are all so clean and healthy. Its nice you can catch a bus to the fair. Get dropped off at the entrance.... That would be a huge to me...
I totally get it I am afraid of heights too! I can’t do the sky lift rides or Ferris wheels. I can ride roller coasters because they don’t remain up high. I can’t be moving slow way up there😳

Did craig not want any of those giant plush toys!?! joe may cpuld have tried to win 1. Did craig want to ride any of the rides beside the chairlift? At the NC state fair, its a lot more crowded. There are many more rides, games, and food booths, but a lot more long lines for everything also.
I saw an Trauma Doctor (maybe nurse) on Tik Tok once, and they said never trust rides at state fairs lol. Only rides at official amusement parks. Guess they’ve seen some stuff
