IP Camera Alarm Relay Output Setup 

Some Viewtron IP camera models have alarm relay outputs that can be connected to external devices such as an alarm light / strobe light. The IP-AX4D IP camera also has AI software that can detect humans and cars. In this video Mike shows how this alarm security camera is configured to detect when a person enters an intrusion zone. When a human is detected the alarm output port on the camera is enabled and turns on a low voltage alarm strobe light.

In this video, the camera is used as a stand-alone device and not connected to a NVR (network video recorder). It is connected directly to the network at CCTV Camera Pros office using a PoE switch. However, you can also manage the alarm output setup via a Viewtron NVR when the camera is connected to one.
In addition to the alarm replay output, this IP camera also has built-in LEDs and a speaker that can be triggered when an alarm event occurs. The camera also a built-in microphone for audio surveillance has 2-way audio communication.
