Reforming ATM King Fu Panda is pretty good. Although it’s a cartoon, the story that the movies tell are not just about a fat panda that fights to protect Kung fu. The cartoon really brings out problems and conflicts that many can relate to, while also just being action pact and funny. This is why I love cartoons. They can be for more than just children.
Wing Chun is very easy to learn if you have Sifu teaching you. This martial art taught me to be a disciplined person and it's not just using it for fighting but to be a better person as well.
From what I've heard from my jiu jitsu teacher and my wing chun teacher, Its something you never want to use. Its more like a last resort in a fight. I have only used it to mix my taekwondo with wing chun in spars (70-80% taekwondo and the rest is wing chun)
thee pufferfish yeah, watching his movies inspired me to learn Kung fu 😂 and then I told my parents and their like “let’s search for some classes that teach Kung fu” and I’m like okay😂 gotta try something new ya know ?
This was in reality where real ip 2 weeks before his death asked his sons to film it so fake wing chun practioners do not come out and make this style contreversial While Ip was demonstrating in real he was in so much pain yet he continued
+Jakub Mik Well, historically speaking, the Japanese and the British had a habit of shitting on their own people. Then when they went to foreign lands, they shit on the people there even harder. South Africa, India, and Australia are good examples for the British Empire. We only just recently entered an age where open oppression of other peoples and cultures is frowned upon.
This^^ I already loved the theme, but when it was remixed in the final battle of the finale movie, it was an indescribable feeling to hear. Felt like magic.
+Velasca When im Practicing Wing Chun, my Grandmaster says i shall never correct myself cause when i stop in middle of the practice i will do that in combat too. So i keep doing it false and remind myself later on my mistakes.
I can’t even describe how much powerful is the feeling that this song gives to me, i feel weak, alone, angry … after watching the movie and knowing the story + this song, it’s an insane experience
I have to say after watching ip man 1 to 3, they really set up a new bar in martial art movies. I feel like other kungfu movies that I thought was the best before don't intrigue me anymore. That's just how good ip man series are.
I told my friend that we should watch this movie, but he said he doesn't like King fu movies. I turned it on anyways, and by the end, he was crying. At the very end, he stood up and cheered.
Benjamin Long "he stood up and cheered" lmao me too!!! Never thought this movie is so good, just watched it by accident because it is currently free on Amazon Prime
Before watching the series I thought its just a modern MMA fight Movie. But after watching it 😢😢 I have No Words. I Can't Believe this man Once Existed😢 Ip man is Very Simple, Disciplined, Down to earth and with a Good Sense of humour. After seeing the movie Wing Chun had became my Favorite martial arts. Donnie Yen's Acting was Very Good in the Movie❤ I watched all Series in Now.
I always play this music in my head when I'm practicing my muscle memory drawing a gun at the range. It just makes you feel like your mastering and improving at something.
Other kungfu protagonists: *wins tournaments, beats up all enemies, doing missions, etc.* Ip man: *beats all baddies, but also teaching everyone a lesson in respect and just wants to be with his family*
Listening to this filled with scenes from the film going through my head.... I feel it in my gut, the beauty of the martial spirit that almost makes me want to cry. I will never give up martial arts.
I train more than 12 Years of Wyng Tjung and i know its not a long time, but i can say, that Wyng Tjung is the beste what you can do for yourself and your BODY! I LOVE AND LIVE IT!
Me. T's been in my childhood for 5 years now. I've known about him ever since I was 7. My dad showed me about him. I decided to practice Wing Chun. I've been learning, but I only did the basic punches. I need an actual Wing Chun dummy. I think I might get one when we move. Not too sure.
Ip man's passionate to wing chun really motivates me to training harder and thanks to him, I can catch up the tactics my coach taught me. Thank you, great grandmaster. I know years have passed and you might not hear me but what you gifted me is inner peace and remembering the true principles of martial arts
What a powerful theme motif for a badass character. Love how you can hear the main melody throughout the movie soundtrack during character defining moments.
I started learning Wing Chun at the age of 30 via RU-vid. It's my only way to overcome my weaknesses in mind and body. I wanted to throw all my bad pasts and frustration as if it is like a meditation. As Bruce Lee said that martial arts is a form of expression.
I have never cried from a martial arts movie. But this movie was BOTH action and meaningful. This music is what i would want to play when protecting friends and family. Very CRUCIAL. VERY powerful.
I saw all the movies and I can say that this are the best movies of artial marts I ever saw. Long live wing chun, Long live Kung Fu. Much respect for chinese people. I cried at the last part (Ip Man 4) when they played the memories with him from all the movies .
This movie series and just the story of Ip Man in general made me want to learn wing chun and become more self disciplined. I can say that it changed my life for the better
