Had it since 2021 and used it for photo editing, note taking, reading, part of my master's thesis, and now I'm taking it through my PhD. An absolute tank of a device, and probably the best 300 euro I have ever spent.

@@Chakamatics 64GB, which surprisingly enough for my usage. I also heavily edit ALL my raw photos from my camera there. Regularly cleaning up projects and having an iCloud subscription helps.

I have had the 9th gen black 64 GB’s for 11 months (bought it on Amazon for 293.79), I love it and it is all I have been needing. It is absolutely worth the price.

I agree, I just got myself one pretty recently & I absolutely love it. Also got the Apple pencil with it as well as a really good Logitech slim folio keyboard case. So worth it so I recommend it to also.

I got one for college and taking notes and reading textbooks and library books!! I love reading on my kindle but I love switching between the kindle and my I pad!! I highly recommend getting it!!

I’m just worried with the new iPads, no button to go to home, the screen might get dirtier with the swiping. I really want a purple iPad and nicer bezels but that would mean dirtier screens… I bought a new MacBook after using since 2017 MacBook Air and the new one with less bezels M1 MacBook Pro get dirtier so much quicker

Got one arriving tomorrow. My first Ipad and at $249 a no brainer. I will be using it just for daily internet surfing. And it will be easy to transport when out of town. Doubt I will ever use the camera as I have a 13 mini and use it as my camera.

It's so funny because i got this iPad recently because i needed it for fresco/procreate and I am amazed how good this looks. I almost bought air 5 but that is a powerhorse and i won't use half of the power it offers. I also don't like bazeless design and i wanted a lightning port because i have an iphone 13 as well.. thus far I love it, space gray looks iconic.

I recently got the same it’s great I had a 2016 9.7 inch 1016😢iPad pro b4 I got this I can’t afford the new pros and the old ones battery got way too bad and I don’t trust someone repairing it lol, I miss the flashlight and the quad speakers but glad for the speed and battery upgrade on the 9th gen I don’t regret buying

I can only buy one in 2 or 3 years, I’m guessing they won’t sell this one anymore by then. But I was thinking I would like having a home button so less smudges when using with keyboard But I don’t like how the keyboard covers the sides as well. Only the Magic Keyboard doesn’t cover the sides

Traded in an 8th gen at Best Buy for 145. Cost me 60 bucks to upgrade to this. This thing is perfect for like literally 99.9 percent of people. I can’t imagine using an iPad for professional reasons such as video editing or photo editing over a MacBook or desktop. iPads a great companion device to your main rig. My only minor issue with these are the mono sound from only having speakers on one side. Other than that it’s great for consumption, filling out documents and airdropping em back to your MacBook, taking notes, studying etc

Thanks for the review. I bought my almost 6 year old one yesterday and I have been trying to determine if I did the right thing, over getting a new kindle fire. She's had a kindle fire for 4 years. She loves learning apps, music, and some tv. I didn't want to pay for amazon kids anymore, amazon music, etc when I already have Apple One for my family. She recently started reading books and we're going on a trip and she wanted to bring all these books with her. Figure it would be better to get her some e-books, fun apps she can install, and maybe a few movies than packing a library.

Watching this in my iPad Air 2nd gen. Apps are no longer updated but RU-vid works fine. Pretty much all apps run. I don’t game on it so it’s still solid for my uses with the kindle app and even the B&N app.

I got this just now because it’s the last iPad with a headphone jack. And I have a collection of headphones with cables so this was a no brainer purchase for me. I still can’t believe they are discontinuing the headphone jacks. Unbelievable

Both has 64 gb base storage(if u want to expand u could always buy external ssds or pendrives A14 and A13 processor are getting old compared to m1 chips but it is still the best for under 35k. Ipad 10 has A14 i would say it is comparatively a little bit more future proof 😅 Both have 60hz lcd display and 4 GB ram Both have apple pencil gen 1 support ( u could always buy 3rd party pencils😊) Both has apple keyboard support but 10th gen has a "better keyboard" keyboard support(u could always buy Bluetooth or third party keyboards) Both have non laminated display(cheaper to repair 😅) Ipad 10 have usb c Ipad 9 has lighting So it may be a hassle to get external storage for 9th gen. Overall 9th gen is cheaper and does most of the things 10 th gen can do But in opinion 10th gen is more future proof with the a14 chip and usb c port and some better specs. So if u r planning to use it for a long time go for ipad 10 because it is easier to get external storage due to usb c port and also has comparatively better and future proof a14 chip. go for 9th gen if u are going to stream most of the content and doesnt need to have more storage U could get external storage options for 9th gen too but its a little hassle. At the end its your use case scenario thats going to decide which is better for you 😊 But i would recommend ipad 10😅 Hope this helps👍 (Also try to check out air 5)

If ur going to buy 10th gen I would recommend not to buy apple gen 1 pencil instead buy a good third party usb c pencil or apple pencil gen 3 if u need the additional features of apple pencil 😊

I have no issue with this ipad being on sale again for $249 I do have an issue with the specs of the A13 & it being the 2021 ipad. Do yourself a favor & at least get the 10th gen on sale for $100 more. This ipad was great when it came out. But the A12 ipad I had needed to be upgraded it was very slow. I am glad I upgraded to an A15 model. I know I’ll at least get 3 years of non buggy updates. I can see you have a 7th or 8th gen upgrading to this model on trade in. Its well worth the extra performance. But once ipad os 18 comes out I can see it getting laggy. Also Ive always hated the speakers on these models of the ipad as they are not loud enough. For some reason the 6th ipad seems louder to me from when the transitioned to the 7th gen ipad causing me to get the mini 5 at the time of release. Which was way better. You have to consider A17 being the iphone chipset that this ipad is going to be outdated quicker than you think.

@@hasoonalchalabi as long as you have i cloud storage. I mean you can get a flash drive. So I think 64GBS is fine for that reason. If its your primary device, I would get more storage though.

@@hasoonalchalabiThe ipad 10 is $329 & $299 for students now. So that is a great option. I bought my mini 6 on sale. I don’t like ebooks, or pdf files but have alot as a 6th year. I like if do something in office & you have cloud turned on for files. You can read, work, & write & your progress is saved across all devices 😊

Can it run anything requiring 4MB's of RAM? I don't care about speed. I think I made a mistake, I assumed it had 4 mb ram it only has 3!!! Nothing in the specs on Amazon shows mb's at all! Will it work if I need it to run an app requiring 4 mb's to run? I'm so sad finding out it only has 3 mb's. Will this A13 bionic chip help at all? 😢

No, it doesn't support fast charging. I have a 40-watt brick, 5V 8A, which is not quicker than a 12-watt brick. I think 20-watt is the iPad 9th gen's max intake.

Screen is def not flagship but it’s a great display for a budget device. It seems no local dimming is it’s weakness. But the color, resolution, and viewing angle are solid for an lcd. Probably the biggest bang for buck tablet available.
