Do you know where I could get a replacement whole metal frame for the air 5 because my uncle found a iPad Air 5 on the side of the road and a chunk of the corner is missing and is all scratched up ideally able to get it to have matching serial numbers engraved in so I can try and fix it up

I just dropped the screen so the screen is totally broken that I can't touch the screen at all, neither turn off it. Is it necessary to turn off the ipad before replacing the screen?

I followed all these steps and everything went well but now I am getting an error that says "touch ID not available". Do you have any experience with this?

Hello! Thank you for your comment. There is a possibility that you might have damaged the part that functions as the Touch ID. I recommend power resetting it by disconnecting the battery from the board for at least a minute and ensuring that your iOS is up to date. The lcd (the inside screen) and the touch are sandwiched together so you’d have to buy the whole assembly itself around 149 dollars usd on ifixit
