You can give an app permission to use your Location Services even after you say no. Tap Settings → Privacy → Location Services. There will be a list of the apps that have asked to use your location. If Find My iPhone says Never next to it, then that program doesn’t have permission to see your location information. Tap Find My iPhone and change the setting to While Using the App. Then close Settings, close the app, and reopen it. Now, it should be able to use your location information. Have a look at this article. www.payetteforward.com/my-iphone-location-is-wrong-heres-fix/

Does the "ipad 8 wifi only" have gps antenna inside?

WiFi-only iPad models (ones without cellular network capability) do NOT have a built-in GPS . Your only option if you have a wi-fi only iPad is to use an external Bluetooth GPS receiver . Wi-Fi-Only iPads Can Still Track Your Location Confusing the issue somewhat is the fact a Wi-Fi-only iPad can fairly accurately pinpoint your location under many conditions. As long as it can pick up even a few Wi-Fi signals, it can use Wi-Fi positioning, which draws on a database of known Wi-Fi hotspots, to determine where you are. iPad Air 5’s location services after updating to iOS 17.1.2. According to the AppleToolBox website, there are a few things you can try to fix this issue 1: Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services and make sure that Location-Based Alerts and Location-Based Suggestions are toggled on. Reset your network settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Toggle Location Services off, wait 20-30 seconds, and toggle it back on. Toggle Background App Refresh on. Always have both WiFi and Cellular Data on. Reset all settings. Sign out of your Apple ID, restart your device, and then sign back in. I hope this helps!

If you're experiencing GPS issues on your iPad, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem. Let's go through some solutions: 1. **Set Date & Time Automatically**: - Go to **Settings** > **General** > **Date & Time**. - Ensure that **"Set Automatically"** is enabled. - Make sure you have a **cellular or Wi-Fi connection** as this can improve GPS accuracy. 2. **Toggle 3G Settings**: - Navigate to **Settings** > **General** > **Network**. - Disable 3G by toggling it **"OFF"**. - Open a map app (ensure you have a Wi-Fi connection) and locate yourself. - Then, turn 3G back **"ON"**. - Additionally, turn Wi-Fi off by going to **Settings** > **Wi-Fi**. 3. **Reset Network Settings**: - Head to **Settings** > **General** > **Reset** > **Reset Network Settings**. - Restart your device after performing this step. 4. **Update Third-Party Navigation Apps**: - If you're using a third-party navigation app, ensure that you have the **latest version** of the app installed. Remember that **GPS is not available** on the original iPhone or iPad models. If you're still encountering issues, consider checking out our detailed troubleshooting guide for GPS problems with the latest iOS or iPadOS versions¹. Hopefully, these steps will help get your iPad's GPS back on track!
