@@Ghostlynotme445 I heard you had to mod those yourself to get them to work on bigger iPads? I couldn’t confirm myself but that’s what steered me away from it. I got the Kishi as a gift as well so it kinda just worked for me lmao
Ngl the iPad mini 6 is still so goated for how long it lasted. Plan on keeping it for 3 more years. Owed it ever since October 2022 and it’s still going strong
A big reason why I think people are underestimating the iPad mini. The iPad mini is unique for its perfect size for mobile gaming and performance/price ratio compared to other 8" tablets.
Thanks, this really helped!! I play Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail on my Galaxy S21, but it's pretty laggy sometimes and I can only play on medium settings. I'll be getting iPad 7 for Christmas and I'm really excited that I will finally experience smooth gaming 😍
Good to see that the thermals seem pretty stable. On my iPhone 15, I always find that gaming performance differs greatly based on where I’m playing. At home at night via WiFi is way smoother than at a brightly lit environment via cellular.
@@ThePgR777 ps5 isnt portable and is only dedicated for gaming or entertainment and requires a display, its useless elsewhere, where as an ipad can multiple use and portable
ipad mini only have 19wh battery and no bypass charging support , so if the game drink about 10W , it's only stay for less 2 hours ... i was playing warzoon on my ipad mini 6, it's drink battery like crazy. it's not worth it.
Amigo una pregunta pienso en comprar la iPad Air M2 para jugar genshin impact,ZZZ y honkai star rail todo en gráficos maximos, tendría caídas de FPS?,gracias

I used it with my friend with a little bit heat up and battery drain but it was able to run quite well, imo better than my s23 ultra with stable 60 fps
@Shadowboy621 iPad mini body much bigger than normal smartphones It's a shame it heated up A17 pro is also 3nm high efficiency chipset Apple and also Samsung really need to use vapor chamber in their devices , I owned vivo x90 pro plus it never heated up even while running genshin impact and watching youtube in the same time, Even my current huawei pura 70 ultra don't heat up Chinese smartphones always ahead of time, But 60 fps in wuthering waves is very good if the graphics settings on max and fsr off
Is it really that difficult for them to create a mini iPad Pro? I loved its size and bought the mini iPad 6 when it came out; it's still great. I hoped the 7 would be more powerful, but I might have to wait another 3 years, or perhaps not, if Apple chooses to discontinue the mini line.
Well yes it is, firstly it's not big enough to cool an M series chip, hence why they aren't used in anything under the 11" tablets, and secondly it would increase the price. Now they could fit an OLED screen though and the latest A series Pro chip, but knowing Apple they'd also increase the price then by 150 or 200. And who would pay that for an 8" tablet?
Excellent video. The Mini should be a great gaming device. The Pro is just too big to hold and use. Plus the new processor gives the Mini ray tracing chops, it is able to use them.
The real torture test is to starting charging the ipad from below 10% and then play games. Let's be real, if we are playing games and it's below 10% battery, we aren't stopping. It's getting charged and it's gonna be hot as hell.
You're limited to 60hz because apple wants to cheap out again on the display, the chip inside is more than capable to run games at 120fps. Such a waste of power
@@adityanarre2860 exactly. this is what I hate about those sheeps. I own a macbook pro and iphone but chose to pre-order a lenovo legion y700 2024 over this obviously neutered tablet...
I have a question about playing modern games on iPad or iPhones: Isn't there a risk that the battery lasts only one or two years because it is on heavy duty during gaming? Thanks.
Bro, can you tell me what the effect will be on the battery health percentage if we play games for an average of 1 hour per day on an iPhone 16 Pro-type model
Only if this thing has 8000 mAh battery, it would add its value even more. Redmagic 10 ultra is coming with 7000 mAh battery, if they can do it, when doesn't apple do it .
Crazy optimization but its still criminal of apple meanwhile you get a red magic gaming pad @ $500 with 120hz screen capable of playing games at 120fps
bro playing warzone with controller is not what mobile gamers want to see it doesn't tell how hot it feels in hand while gaming or how uncomfortable it is to hold for a long session
not even the ipad pro can run this at 60fps becuase its limited by the software.. thats so annoying the new ipad m4 just cant play games better than the ipad mini, its so stupid..
I have iPhone 15 Pro Max Can anyone tell me Which of these AAA Games AC Mirage Resident Evil 4 Biohazard Village Or more Is free and which one is paid and how much price Someone please explain
I find myself 99.9% of the time playing in 60 fps even if the device is capable (i.e my iPad Pro M4) for the simple reason of battery preservation and low thermals. Hence, I think many are okay with locked 60hz gaming. The issue is social media and browsing the Internet with 60hz, this is where I find the iPad Mini bad
@DameTech if people buy an m4 ipad pro to play games obviously they also do it to get the best possible performance and to option to play at 120hz. Otherwise you might as well buy any mid end android tablet for 400 bucks that could also play most games at 60fps nowadays.
@@Avm371998you’d be surprised how there is very little tablets the size of the mini with this level of performance. Most tablets with flagship processors are 10.5-11inch and above. iPad Mini imo is the best size for mobile gaming. Bigger than a phone but not too big as the iPad Pro. IMO I’d rather they give this mini the A18 Pro rather than 120hz display if I had to choose between the two.
Android users are probably crying right now because they still don't have native AAA PC games. There stuck having to emulate games that 25% of the time may work. 😂😂
I think it will work more Since Qualcomm is targeting the emulation market . Higher multi core for emulation, game drivers to achieve native performance in emulation. Soon you can even play black myth on a 8gen elite phone
Subjective. I think it looks decent for a mobile port. Most games can be enjoyed at 30 fps. FPS games however cannot. Now for optimization, I think some of these ports should have been in the oven a bit longer; but if we take AC mirage, they have released many updates since release and game is performing much better.
@@DameTech visuals sure can be subjective but it aint a AAA if it doesn't look like it. 30 fps is not subjective in 2024, nobody wants to play at that frame rate. not even on mobile.
Not even 90 hz display, fkn apple. Not worth in 2024-2025 with 60hz display, what is the point of having this much power when you can't play fps games at least 90fps (cod/pubg) even other games is better qt higher fps and its a fact
