Great video, I ordered my keyboard and IPad last week, Apple has a sick sense of humour I got the keyboard yesterday but still no dispatch notice for the IPad 😩
It wasn’t designed to do this but if you don’t want the screen to float you can lower it to rest on the keyboard by pushing the screen forward while it’s still tilted open. This makes it a little less top heavy and easier to balance on your lap. Seems to work best with 12.9” version.
A solution to sketching whilst having the magic keyboard attached: -turn the magic keyboard upside down -slide your phone in the gap that appears between the screen and the keyboard -turn your phone horizontally The screen will stay in place regardless of pressure. More importantly no keyboard keys will be activated in this setup. Hope this helps

But my brightness like i still don’t know to low it or bright it up its not working.
I think the reason why the magic keyboard doesn't have an esc key is because the iPad is not designed for it. Anyway, you could do that with swiping on the trackpad. This can be paralleled with why apple products don't support right click and even if you do turn on right click, the options you'll see are limited. Simple reason. Apple products are not designed for these things. So why bother adding them/making them default?
Im so excited and inpatient. There’s still 3 weeks to go to get my iPad Pro. 2 weeks to get my keyboard and my Apple Pencil. Already got my dbrand skin and screen paper like protector.
Hello.Magic keyboard i ordered but i have to wait for another three weeks my question like this when i connect my mouse to tablet cursor walks on tablet without problems but i can no longer use virtual keyboard if i want to reply message i have no keyboard until i turn it off mouse 🤔
Has anybody experienced lag/slow response while typing using this magic keyboard? Mine is driving me nuts on iPad Pro 11”, the response is extremely slow on latest iOS and didn’t find any useful solution. We tried the keyboard on another iPad and found it working great, any thought of what might be wrong?
The shortcut is so good that I am using my ipad more than my laptop. One thing to note is that this work with any keyboard. No need to pay extra for the expensive magic key. Also, your may also need to practise touch typing to fully use the small case keyboard productively.

I’ve been looking everywhere online for how to access the microphone button on this keyboard. Does anyone know? It seems like it’s not in any shortcut, keystroke or “re-mappable” key. I use dictation all the time for texts, emails, searches… But sometimes that iPad mic gets hidden when a keyboard is attached. Thoughts?
You can just take the ipad and place it with bottom wedged on the keyboard edge and the top just leaning on the other part. It works, its stable. The one you used works too but you have to stick your phone between it to prevent that slide effect.
Im using it today ire commend that if yall want to study or take notes abd also doing hms abd to type in (word) abd thats so fun the tripode but its kinda heavey but so good thanks me later
Nice video and tips. I personally don’t have the issue with the glare because I invested in the Paperlike screen protector which has an anti glare feature. Not necessary to get the expensive Paperlike, there are many other similar alternatives.

You said “go ahead” every 10 seconds for the first minute. Then in minute two, you said, “let’s go ahead and quickly just go ahead”. Two “go ahead” in one sentence. I’m sorry, I had to stop watching there. Pro tip: the phrase “go ahead” adds no value or information to a sentence, in future, think about avoiding this verbal tick which weirdly infects so many tech videos....
You keep saying you’re sure we get the idea instead of explaining in detail…you’re wrong we don’t get the point that’s why we are watching videos. I can’t get the notifications from swiping up in middle like you say. I tried this for 30 min and kept rewinding your video to see what i was doing wrong. You did it so fast without explaining, I can’t get it to work, ill check another video… for future, don’t assume we “get the idea PLEASE”
I have to give another comment ,you so so amazing for this video ,i got my iPad Pro 12.9inch m2 and i use now with the Magic Keyboard with knowing any shortcut ,wow this your video make me know know that iPad Pro 12.9ich is really a machine
Charging the iPad in the case takes place via the Smart Connector, which is wired. I get what you mean, i.e., that you don't have to plug anything into the iPad itself, but it's not technically a wireless connection that charges it.
Anyone knows how to improve the magnetic touch points at the back (the one that connects the iPad to the magic folio? Mine's getting loose/rusty and the inconsistent contact causes the keyboard to not get detected at times.
Can’t full screen yt vids it with my 2 fingers it just zooms in the video not full screening it :(. Please help it does it some times but 1 in a 100 tries…. 2:42
Going from the Magic Folio to the Magic Keyboard I am sorely missing the ability to open it all the way and use it as an actual tablet while having the back protected.
A better design from Logitech i dont think so but a cheaper price for sure. I just got this keyboard and im not sure Logitech or Brydge can top the design aesthetic of the magic keyboard. Adding more keys like function keys and other desktop full keys on case will make it bulkier and heavy probably small keys as they wanna fit every key on a small surface.
Do you have any issues with or any life hacks to keep the pencil falling off? I keep wondering why Apple didn’t build something Into the case to keep it more secured
I use a case for my iPad that holds it and works with the magic case. I’m away from my computer right now but if you search for my iPad accessories video you’ll find it. Or you can search it on google and IPad case that’s compatible with the Magic Keyboard and look for the ones with a pen holder.
Excellent Tips video. Chock-a-block with stuff however, a polite suggestion, if you slowed down a bit I wouldn’t have to pause and restart the video so many times because I need to write the great Tip down. Realise this may be so that you can keep the video as short as possible, but a slower version (for oldies?) would have saved me from ringing he Fire Brigade here in Australia to put out the fire that started at the tip of my pen as I tried to record all the fabulous tips. Love it. Well done. So much good info.
Mine arrived yesterday after a month delay. It’s nice but I’m bummed that right out of the box, the E, F, V, & B keys have a giant slash across them that is pretty visible in a well-lit room. Production issue I guess. I want to get it replaced but the Stores in my area are still closed because of COVID & it’ll probably be another month for a replacement to arrive. I’ve also read online that people have received theirs with scratches all over the USB port on the side. It’s like these Magic Keyboards seem to all arrive with cosmetic issues.
Thanks for the vid. Can I ask….in RU-vid can you just hit the arrow key for 5 sec FF? I’m pretty sure I was doing that on my keyboard but now it doesn’t seem to work. I’m running iOS 15. Pressing the command button suggests it’s a feature
I just got my new magic keyboard a few days ago. So far my only 2 complaints is during typing I find myself hitting either the mouse pad trying to take me out of typing my message and getting the message discard message. The other part is I find myself hitting up arrow and my cursor moves to the start of where I was typing. So annoying. Anyone else having these little issues with big hands?
I ended up using 10 pounds amazon Bluetooth keyboard. You should go to MacBook or windows laptop if you want to do proper productivity work and just use iPad as a bigger smartphone at home. That’s my conclusion.
Does the magic keyboard support right click option in your trading app? Or do you know how to use right click on a Bluetooth mouse. Either of those would help. I recently set up a Bluetooth mouse and I can’t get the right click button to do the right click function. I would buy the magic keyboard if it does do it but if you know how to do it with the mouse it would be my first option

how can I disable the magic keyboard and simply just use it as an iPad case. I heard that the keyboard drains battery from iPad so i wanna turn it off sometimes when I watch movies
Hey man, nice video! Just one little note, when you use you're ipad as a notebook with the magic keyboard, try to put there a smartphone, it'll make it by far better! I've using my previous phone for that, and IT'S SUPER!
There is a little iphone icon that shows up on some icons (in the right side of your dock) .. is this a new feature on the beta version or the normal one ? how can i turn it on?
The tap to click tip was awesome, I rather not click my trackpad too much and this saves it from getting clicked every few mins. Also just checked my typing speed with this keyboard and 62 WPM is not bad at all, so loving my purchase so far. Thanks for this video man.
