Are you really that bad at taking photos? Sorry but you are not using that camera properly, or your testing area is way to dark, I have got some fantastic shoots on my iPod which has the exact same sensor as this.

+sc0pl355 Maybe, but different people have different needs. In a pro device you could at least expect an option to configure it. I mean that thing can't display more app icons on one screen than my 5 inch phone, and that doesn't look cluttered either.

Why didn't you buy a surface book?

What made you buy it in the first place as it's more than obvious that the Pro is just a bigger iPad running the same mobile OS that should never, ever be consider as an alternative to WIndows or OSX. Even those who don't do much computing would be better served with something like a ChromeBook or Surface 3. I recommend people buying a Surface 3, an iPad Mini 4 and a 15" portable USB external monitor to extend the desktop on for productivity and the kicker is, all of that is the same price. Pretty rediculous when you stop an think about it, those who do end up buying a Pro, I give it a month before you're tired of it.

+Deebo Guwop Ya literally speaker quality is the only thing the iPad Pro holds over the Surface Pro 4, not to say that the Surface has bad speakers though. I also like how the Surface Pen is half the price of the Apple Pencil but has more functionality. Microsoft wins this one hands down, but that's kind of to be expected with a 1st gen vs. 4th gen product scenario.

+freezeter14 Heck even the Surface 3 (non-pro) is a better buy. You're getting a desktop OS at least. I know someone's gonna tell me "But it's less powerful!", but for this much money a desktop OS is really expected.

Funny enough success is a factor of sales and profit. At current projections the iPad Pro will overtake the total sales of the Surface Pro in less than three months, making over $340m gross profit (has the SP made a net profit yet?). So I don't really understand your comment, maybe a better question is why the Surface Pro has been so slow to sell? Why the iPad Pro will sell more in three months than the SP line sold in over three years? Maybe because a few geeks and hard core Windows fans love a hybrid, because it's an average tablet and a compromised laptop. I can easily explain why the iPad Pro will sell well and why the SP won't.

+Richard Servello I know right, the general look hasn't changed in over 7 years. iOS is in desperate need of a complete re-write. I'm not talking about the design either. Just to many of it's core functionality are actually apps connected together through a spiderweb of API's. Features like Share, as it is right now app developers have to actually manually create Share profiles in order for their apps to communicate with others. Unlike other modern OS's which has Share built into their core functionality and creates their Share lists dynamically. How about multi-user support, will never happen in iOS's current state. Why, apps manage their own files, Apple needs to create a central document-management system in which all files are stored outside of the individual apps. This will also cure that absolutely annoying problem of having to login into iCloud or any other Cloud service for every single app that supports them, which is most. The Document-Managment System, if properly programmed could handle all of these Cloud services like local assets and you would only have to login in once as the apps would use this new system and wouldn't have to recreate the wheel for every single app. It will also create consistency, where there is none now, as every app uses a different method, look, etc. It would also make managing files just better all the way around. This is a huge problem about iOS, Apps shouldn't have to do half the things they do now where the system should be providing. Using API's is nothing but a hack, a cup and string system and needs to be addressed by implementing these features inside the OS. Mouse support, enough is enough, this is Pro product and like Tim Cook said about adding touchscreens to a laptop, it doesn't work as the user has to reach over the keyboard to use it. Well, what do you think is happening here, yes I know that their new mobile keyboard has the ability to move the cursor in some apps but that is a far cry of having mouse or trackpad support. It's also just that, a mobile keyboard, where using something like the normal desktop Apple keyboard is a better option. Running apps in the background, using two apps at once is a good start but I want the ability to run any app in the background and not just those few that Apple deemed worthy. Again this is a supposed Pro product with 4GB of RAM, where is the distinction, a bigger display doesn't make something Pro. Apple needs to start adding more OSX features into iOS if they want to actually start to ween people away from traditional laptops or even stop this huge decline in tablet sales. The excuse of, well consumers don't need that kind of power is just an old and tired excuse perpetrated by Apple loyalists who hate not having the best. Which iOS is defiantly not, the only saving grace iOS has is the apps, if it wasn't for the apps iOS would be the absolute worst mobile OS available today. Not only is behind the times, always the last to receive new, actually needed features and 3D touch or fingerprint scanning in which the users fingerprints are stored on corporate servers but it's still missing core functionality that hasn't even been implemented yet. Those looking for a true laptop replacement would be better served with the Surface Pro 4 or any number similar devices like the Lenovo Helix 2.

Why would that matter, this isn't the 90's, files are now cross platform. The Surface Pro 4 absolutely blows away the iPad Pro in every single conceivable way.

I just put all apps in folders and have the home screen empty with a great wallpaper. I use the very fast and slick search to find apps or the task switcher. This has great speakers, battery life, future proof, great screen, multi tasking, etc. Funny enough I know many people who don't use a PC but love their iPad or tablet. They are not looking at ever buying another ear laptop, there maybe tens or hundreds of millions of consumers like this all over the world, so to say you would be better to buy a MacBook or PC is missing the point. The reason iPads were so successful was the fact that people were looking to move away from Windows to something that just served their needs. Viewers on here and reviewers are different beasts but let's not forget we are in the small minority. My mother had never used a PC but I bought her an iPad and she uses it daily and it does the things she wants. That market is massive and if only 5-10% want a bigger iPad then the Pro will be a success.
