Dave, the quality of your reviews are consistently impressive. The pros and cons of each reviewed device are almost always spot on and the way you demonstrate these comments with relevant video does not go unnoticed. Many of the "professional" review sites can learn a thing or two from your reviewing style. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Man! What a video!!! I think over the couple of years you gained ideas on tech reviewing by watching other tech reviewers then you got down into the field of Tech reviewing including remarkable ideas...! Simply awesome videos...
WHY DONT YOU HAVE MORE SUBSCRIBERS. I just started watching your videos and they are so clean, to the point and of course crispy. I appreciate your work keep doing great!
I'm typing this on my Space Gray iPad Pro 128GB Verizon & I'm in ❤️ with my iPad Pro!! I've owned every single iPad and nearly every iPhone. I am enjoying this more than my iPad Air 2 by far. Watching Netflix, Amazon prime, RU-vid (videos in 1440p), Playbox HD, Moviebox HD look gorgeous on the huge screen!! Drawing apps are fun even though I don't have an apple pen yet. Adult coloring books are even more fun now. The Texture app which is Netflix for magazines looks superb! Gaming is on another level with the much bigger screen because I am seeing games with so much more detail. I'm a writer, so Notability is pure joy on my iPad Pro. I'm rocking the Incipio Faraday cover, so the typing position is very comfortable with the onscreen keyboard. The 4 speakers are LOUD and amazing sounding. I watched Interstellar and it sounded fantastic! Games sound way better. Music is so fun to listen to on the iPad Pro too. The 4GB of ram makes everything super fast. I ❤️ it!!!!
Hands down, best iPad Pro review out there. Nobody else seemed to break it down in the same way you did. I was most curious how it would function as a work/note-taking machine, and everyone seems to be fixated on content creation. Fitting for the device, but the willingness to take a unique approach to the review is appreciated.
This is the first reviewer to actually spend time with it and point out all of the flaws instead if just trying to fire out a video before all of the other channels to get the most views
Great review Dave. I love the chill style of your videos. I also love how your information is structured instead of just a bunch of random thoughts. Plus the re-caps help wrap the whole review together. thanks for what you do. Ignore the haters who just need something to hate because they hate themselves. Keep it real Dave.
Great review, once again Dave 2D. I really appreciate how you compared the iPad Pro to the Surface and also who the device is for. Great stuff. I am looking forward to your next review.
+Jared D. Yikes, that is pretty upsetting for a $2,000+ machine. I figured it'd have some issues considering it's 1st gen, but the hype was too real. Debating on whether or not I should wait for the 2nd gen or go for the XPS 15. Leaning towards the XPS due to its quad core, GTX 960m, versatility (USB-C, 3.0, HDMI), and 4K screen. For $1,700, the price seems fair, but I'd like to see more reviews on it before committing. Thanks for the info BTW, definitely helped narrow down my decisions!
hey D2D I recently subscribed to you... and become bigger fan of your tech reviews each moment as I see more and more videos.... keep up the good work buddy..
Been waiting for this. Thanks a lot for the review. Really useful. Anyway you deserve 1 million subscribers just for the way you spin that iPad...amazing skills :D Have a great day
Nice review Dave 😁, I'm not an Apple fan at all but the techie in me wanted to just see what the buzz was about. You coverd everything flawlessly 👍 I enjoyed watching because your flow is unique. keep 'em coming.
It’s three years since you uploaded this video right.? I own an iPad Pro 10.5”. It’s my on the go device. I’m a student and I use this device as my class notebook. I love your channel and your true to life reviews on different tech products. I would really appreciate a review of the current 2017 model of the iPad Pro 10.5”. Hope you’ll make one. Great job that your doing here.! ✌🏻peace
Thank you for your review. It's the best I've seen for the iPad pro. I was considering the iPad pro as an update to my current tablet. I feel 100% confident it's not the device for me...at least In this iteration.
Im not in Apple stuff but is a real pleasure see your reviews, great video Dave! And hurry up with the Dell XPS 15 Infinity Display review :) i think this laptop will be my new computer and Take a look on the visibility angle, some people said that the IPS screen has not good view angles. Thank you for your work!
Excellent review man. I feel pretty much exactly the same way. I do create a lot of art and media and in the week I have had it I already know its going to be a big part of my workflow. It's just hard to recommend as a laptop replacement.
Thank you for this. Your reviews are excellent. I have never really been an Apple guy and I still have the latest Android phones including my Galaxy S8 Plus. However as a professional DJ I know that even though I have a top of the line Alienware from 2017 my MacBook Pro still is better. I bought the Verizon cellular version of the 10.5 iPad Pro only a week ago so I'm learning about it. Thank you so much for these videos. They have been extremely informative. As a 51 year old techie I can appreciate reviews from a young Millennial like yourself because even though I'm older and I have been around longer and I have been involved in technology longer a young gentleman like you is someone I can still learn from. You were born into it in a different way than I was. Thank you so much for your input and I will follow you for as long as your relevant and I think you always will be! Happy New Year
Dave, I am your subscriber for some time and I have ALWAYS loved your thumbnails but this one is not such as the others great video though excellent content
Graphic Designer here. I used a surface pro 3 for work for 3 weeks -- don't. A windows tablet is not a replacement for creatives. There are trade offs in both the iPad Pro and Surface Pro 3. It's so easy to say that the Windows Surface 3 can replace your laptop cause it has the stylus / windows OS, but the Adobe desktop apps (although your normal CC app) don't work with the touch screen as fluidly for a tablet workflow. Also, the ram is dreadful for the same price of $849 so you'll likely upgrade to the highest tier $1599+ surface tablet 4.... at the point get a Macbook Pro 15." I used an 8 gb ram laptop (windows) and I suffer with performance so I can't imagine the 2nd tier $999 surface book doing any better in the long run. A macbook Pro 15" is industry standard in the end for graphics. The pencil is.... THE BEST STYLUS. PERIOD. It is the game changer talking point that makes this tablet the best. I have the best draw experience creating vector graphics, naturally as if drawing on a paper pad. It's cheaper than a $2k wacom cintiq and works SO GREAT. You don't have to think - just create great vector drawings easily. Biggest drawback... iOS 9... need native mac OS, but I have faith that the apps will evolve. dial up was a standard back then... i believe in this iPad Pro.
Excellent review, as always! I didn't know you are also Canadian until this vid. I thought you were going to write "I hate UofT/human bio." Hope you are not too broken after anatomy. Also, shout out to your mom's trendy style! So cute with the drawings, and her nails matching her sweater. Keep up the quality reviews!
True split screen like a laptop? It's almost exactly like OS X split screen (though the app selection menu is somewhat cumbersome). I use both native OS X full screen split screen and windowed Microsoft-style split screen via better touch tool, and they're good for different workflows. In terms of focus for writing to a book or webpage or RU-vid video, nothing can beat Apple's implementation, and having the median between the two apps resize both simultaneously is awesome. Coding work I prefer keeping stuff windowed and usually in quarters.
