You know, I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in this video when I made it. But it's been well-received. I'm thinking your idea about a setup tutorial might be helpful. Thanks is much!
Hi Rich, found your site purely by accident and glad I did. You are a God send, you take your time and explain things and slower than many others out there. I am 78 and 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran and now in a wheelchair so I’m basically on my iPad all day. Got my iPad in 2018 and next month both wife and I will be getting new phones, watches and iPads from Apple Store in Baton Rouge. Would you please do a video on how to move your data and everything from old iPad to new one. I have a lot of files and pictures and a lot more on my old iPad. Thank you and I’ve become a new subscriber.
Hi Bob. So honored by your kind words! If you've stored all your photos, files and notes and such in iCloud (which you probably did even if you didn't know it) then when you log into your apple account on your new iPad and iPhone, everything will just be there! Super easy. If you'd like to know if you're hooked up to iCloud, one way to verify is to take a photo using your iPhone. If the photo shows up on your iPad you're good to go! Hope this helps.
Great to wake up to your latest video. Just watching you talk about a sponsor. I’m excited to hear about the wallets and AirTag plan. Love finding “something new” to try. Keep it coming Rich. I know your audience loves your work. What a great way to start my day. That opening shot of the desk setup has me all excited.
Hi Ed! I told Steve (a viewer who commented below) that I can't believe I spent al that money on the Studio Display. But it really makes using the iPad feel like using a computer. I've been fooling around with it for a while and the ability to just unplug the iPad and go really appeals to me. Thanks so much for watching!
You know, I've thought about that. I made a video on using the iPhone camera but I've not done the same for the iPad. My mom asked me the same thing a year ago. I guess I need to get to it. Thanks so much for watching!
I haven’t tried plugging my iPad Pro into my TV yet using my HDMI dongle yet. I read that the external monitor will still work with that connection type as well.
You can screen mirror hiking it up that way. But with the M1 iPad Air you get an actual 2nd screen. I still can't believe I paid that much for the Studio Display. Thanks for watching!
