Time to live (TTL) refers to the amount of time or “hops” that a packet is set to exist inside a network before being discarded by a router. TTL is also used in other contexts including CDN caching and DNS caching.
Quick question: I understand how to clear the dns resolver cache that is stored on computer, but how do we delete the dns resolver cache stored on our router?
@@MathCuriousity unless you run something like pfsense I don't believe there is a way. Maybe if you power cycle the router, then it will clear that out? But, that's not a 100% though! I don't personally know of any consumers routers that you can clear the dns cache unfortunately.

these "purple-black" iconic design were come from LINKSYS products almost 20 yrs ago. this color combination still iconic today, to represent consumer-level networking devices.
