Me two. It’s fine, but now the start button is broken , battery life is very poor, and screen is badly cracked. New 11 max is on the way for best battery life possible. It will be another +4 years until I watch one of theses videos again. Hopefully....

I have a 6. Little laggy and struggle with the 16gb of storage. I put a new battery and I am happy with that. Thinking of buying the 11 and if there is major redesign next year I’ll sell it.

mjolnir1981 well from what I heard, it’s USBc and 5G, and possibly a camera update. Maybe the camera makes it worthwile, but I doubt 5G or USBc would make enough difference for me to spend that extra money from Iphone 11 to the next model. I change phones just when I have to. But then it’s fun 😃

The Tech Chap I believe double ois means ois on wide and telephoto lenses. So using same lense should give same result. Can you retest and reconfirm?

4:31 You sure about this issue? I watched tons of reviews out there but no one talks about this issue: video stabilization iPhone 11 vs iPhone 11 Pro. This is really a big difference, especially for video makers. Thank you and I think you should raise this issue up for more people to know. Maybe make another video. I will be very happy to know this info before I make a decision on which iPhone to buy.

He actually somehow messed this up... the iPhone 11 is absolutely IDENTICAL in video with the ultra wide and wide angle. And even at 2x digital (because of the missing telephoto) it wouldn't look THIS bad. That's definitely not how the iPhone 11 video quality looks like...

snowwhitewitch Definitely. I switched form X to 11 and I couldn't be happier. As long as you don't *need* OLED or the (mostly useless) Telephoto, you'll have a very good experience.

True story. My IPhone 6 was on 35% I watched a few more minutes (5min) of my video before I got my charger and when I looked again it was on 2%. And then I went to get my charger which was right beside me and it died.

I ended up getting the iPhone 11 Pro Max after having the XS last year. The regular size started feeling kind of small, the Pro Max is a little big but the screen is amazing and I found the iPhone 11 to be the perfect size but it sucks that one isn’t a Pro model. Hopefully next year they have all the size options as the best models because I would’ve probably gone with the 11’s size if that one had all the pro features

Izzat Hamideh i got the max too , I'm really unsure weather to keep it or swap down to the pro . It's a very big phone , I'm testing out a super thin case tomorrow to see if it helps .the bigger screen and battery is nice but using it one handed is long . Also you noticed any over exposure on video calls I'm having mad hdr yellow brightening on the front cam if you move about under harsh light . Has yours done this ?

Great job!! I’ve enjoyed your content since the very early days of your channel, and it continues to be entertaining and informative. That said, I have a question. Why do so many of the tech pundits I follow on RU-vid purchase the Pro Max for themselves, but advise their friends and family to get the lower end iPhone 11? Doesn’t it stand to reason that If you enjoy the features of the higher end device, that they would as well? Just curious to see if you might be able to shed some light on this issue.

Super helpful video! I was debating on getting the iPhone 11 Pro or the Max, but I’m definitely getting the Pro since the only difference is the size and battery life. I’ve gotten used to having a larger phone since I have an 8 plus, but I’ll make the Pro work for sure since it’s slightly cheaper lol. Thanks for the great tips! Awesome review, I think I'm pulling the trigger on the max, I firmly believe they won't switch to usb c next year, and even if they do it's not like I won't be able to buy/get lightning cables. I also couldn't care less about 5g and it probably won't be prevalent for at least another few years minimum.

Burkinater 48 completely agree. I’m not sure why people keep thing the C charger is coming. I wish they would stop. Why would Apple switch to a C charger and make millions less? It’s separated them from the rest. As far as 5G, well if and when they do release it next year, it will be the base model of speed. 2021 5G is the one you will want.

Great review. I ended up opting for the iPhone 11 Pro Max with 516 GB in the midnight green. I hadn't seen this review yet but I'm glad I picked what I picked. I probably won't upgrade for many years after this phone. I still have man other Apple products that use the Lightning cable to charge, so I should be good. I think the fact that everything is transitioning to the USB-C is worth noting, I still have an iPod Classic and the original iPad that still takes the 30 pin charger...and those bad boys are still holding strong (and Apple still sells them).

In the beginning I was not a fan of the camera arrangement of the 11/Pro/Max. But it has all grown on me. I do like the design of the 10/S/SMax, but have never grown tired of the 6s+/7+/8+ design. If you have a older iPhone and are perfectly happy with it but wish it had a newer look, I can’t recommend Otterbox Strada enough. They look great and are made to be able to do calls with the cover closed.

One downside with 11 pro that i tested out was that macro shots with 2x optical had to be an inch further away frommy note 8 from the subject to be able to focus. And the focus is also significantly slower on 11 pro over note 8 as i love macro shots.

I would say so. They only came out a year ago and would still have a good resale value. I'm in the same boat. Last iPhone I had was an 8+ before switching to an android phone. I still want an iPhone, torn between the XS and the 11 (don't like how the 11 Pro/Pro Max looks with those cameras) and the XS Max is too big for me personally 🤷🏽‍♀️.

It’s an 11 for me in the coming weeks. My 6+ has reached the end of it’s usefulness now that I can’t upgrade to iOS 13 and it’s just becoming slow to use as apps require more processing speed. Would love to wait another year but it’s not feasible imo.

1:32 - Sucks that you have to be in “High Efficiency” mode and forced to use HEIF/HEVC format if you want to take advantage of capturing the area OUTSIDE of frame to improve the composition of the photo or video. THAT is LAME!!

Choosing to get the standard 11, with the intent to upgrade to next year's real iphone update. Like this, when you trade in your device, I will loose out on less. It is also my first experience with Apple, having always used Samsungs. I just hate the curved edges and all the bloatware Samsung seems to be favoring.

I upgrade every years because I buy my phone after 2/3 months when it's on discount and resell it after 1 year losing only 100€. I actually spend less in comparison buying a new iphone at 700 and just lost all my investment after 4 years. In conclusion if you can buy at right moment with a good discount you save money, have always the best technology available and always a fresh battery and memory storage (yes memory chip get slower after some years)

ali dasougi yeah that’s not how it is for a lot of people. Tons of people experience major slow downs and poor batter life as their iPhones age. Apple phones are notorious for slowing down and having batteries poop out around 2 year mark.

I got an iPhone 11 and to be honest the Dual-system stabilisation thing isn’t something I noticed at all. The primary camera is optically stabilised and the footage shot with my older Xs looked pretty much identical in terms of stabilisation.

Thanks for this video! I have the iPhone 8 Plus and I want to upgrade so I was torn between the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 pro. I want a smaller phone because I’m getting frustrated with big phones now but I want good camera quality for photos and of course videos. If I get the iPhone 11 I will probably get the 128GB but if I get the iPhone pro I will definitely get the 64GB. Not sure if the difference in GB really matters in that case. But to sum it up I want good camera quality and a not so bulky phone so I may lean towards the iPhone 11 pro, but at the same time I want to save $300 if I can but I plan on keeping whatever phone I get for at least 2 years possibly 3. What do you think???🤔🤔🤔🤔

Ok, folks that already have one of these 11’s:::: How is it on VIBRATION? I do extreme distance bicycling (pavement only), and also adventure/dual-sport motorcycling (on-road, and LIGHT off-road), and always have my phone mounted to handlebars using “Ram X mounts”... My ancient iPhone 6-Plus has NO PROBLEMS with vibration, although it’s now as slow as molasses and the battery is pretty much non-existent, and it has to stay plugged in at all times to a home or vehicle charger, or external battery. Will these 11’s be able to handle riding vibrations without breaking? I’ve heard some riders really complaining... Please advise...

The camera layout from the 11 onward looks so high tech and industrial.. I personally love it. The Xs camera setup looked cheap.. like an android.

I love the 11pro, its the perfect size for my hand 🖐 and my pants pocket 😊 plus its easy and neat to snap selfies with one ☝️ hand. Oh the pics and video recordings come out terrific 😃

What happened @ 4:33 to the Iphone 11? No dual ois System? First time i hear that. But why is the Picture completely washed out compared to the other ones? Someone can explain? What is the dual system? OIS + electronic stabilization? for wide, ultra wide or for both? Why is the IPhone 11 Picture a complete mess? Is this 720p?

I got the 11 because the extra camera and amoled screen wasn’t worth £400-500 extra for me (I need more than 64gb storage).

Camera upgrade isn't huge at all unless you get the Pro version that has the ultra wide, I'm sure night mode can come via software updates . Other than that pics are very similar to the xs/xs max with noise reduction and a little more saturation that's it gsmarena has an in depth review and if the pics weren't labelled it would be hard to spot the difference.

Actually, the Oneplus 7 Pro has the best non-gaming cell phone screen. It has a 3120 x 1440 and 90Hz refresh rate. But the iPhone does have a beautiful screen.
