I used huawei p9 and currently using huawei p20. I like huawei but yeah your review is true. I don't like the selfie pictures of huawei the color is very unnatural even the rear camera... It seems the camera of huawei is not for skin... I still need to edit the photos just to make the color looks natural not too pale or white.
iPhones really change the game once they implement features like the Night Mode and the consistency of quality in its lenses in photo and video. HDR and video stabilization is still on top. The iPhone 11 wins this one but still my P30 is holding up and still taking good stills and motions so I'm sticking with it. Thanks for the another comparison again!
The iPhone made trade-offs in selfie video by sacrificing dynamic range for proper exposure on subject. While the Huawei made compromises so that the dynamic range is fuller and the exposure is more even. I'm guessing it's due to apple prioritizing detected face exposure.
I jsut realized that the price is low but the specs are so superb! I havent seen any phones in mid range that have this good and also good for other tasks as well. What im concerning right now if i xan do game lviestreaming to this. 6gb is good for gaming but the lviestreaming...
Hi. After all the updates to the camera + the Android 10 update....which do you think still tops in the front & rear camera department especially general daylight shots, night shots, dynamic range, colour accuracy, less noise when zooming & stabilization between the Mate 20 Pro and the P30? Or shall I just get the top end P30 Pro?
If you have p30 and want to switch to an iphone, just like me since my p30 storage is full, you should go for iphone 12 and 13 because if you go to iphone 11 you cannot really feel the differrence and sometimes p30 performs better than iphone 11. I bought iphone11 and really disappointed. Sold it and bought iphone 13 and i can reallyfeel the upgrade.
0:43 - 1:17 Don’t get me wrong but the iPhone 11 is definitely a bit wider and taller in dimensions than the Huawei P30. In terms of one hand usage regardless of the canera UI, overall OS and hand size the P30 is easier to hold on to and navigate. A bit bias there Daniel.
In terms of getting around the phone, yes it’s easier to get swipe and text on the P30. But during that section I was talking about specifically the camera UI. On the iPhone I can easily turn on my timer or whatever I need with just my thumb. On the P30 I can’t do that. I would have to move the whole phone down to reach for it or use my other hand. The iPhone camera UI is just way more accessible
i just made the swich from a iphone 7 to a p30 and ... its rly hard to get used to but has great features.. the only thing i hate is the washed out colors on faces... idk something about the colors in photos seems off
@@danielsin and another thing with android is that they make about 1000 phones per year meaning that apps like instagram need to make a version that work on all of them meaning that the quality of the storys is worse than the camera on the phone ,but with iphone making like 3 phones per year its much easier for apps to make a individual app that is optimised for every iphone and thats why storys look nicer
@@cine-music i likr it...not really into phones but i like my huawei ( i still have google on it ) , its great cause i can crack like...youtube premium, spotify etc , the thibgs i hate tho, is the camera ..is not that great on mine (p30 PRO is much better), great zoom , i dont think i will.go back on iph , only if i get a good deal for the phone 😂
It all comes down to what user interface you like. Both phones are good at performance. The only thing P30 can't do well camera wise against the iPhone is the video
My P30 Pro do have problem with green hue in some night mode shot too. now im stick with auto mode since it already perfect, but sometimes i do wanted to shoot with night mode to get the best picture. so sad with the software. btw i think some of your p30 night mode are kinda shaky? donno just asking
Same here with just normal mode. I don’t really use night mode unless I’m curious how it looks. Usually I shoot leaves and bushes so they move from the wind to make it look more blurry.
@@yarmi6211 I'm P30 user here , I'll share out what's good and bad about P30 . Bad things : 1. Fingerprint is buggy , sometime wouldn't even recognize my finger 2. No stereo Speaker but it's not really a problem for most consumer 3. No ip68 rating , better put that phone away from water though its came with ip53 splash rating 4. Software animation , gesture , user interface abit suck when u compare to something like iPhone Or Samsung. 5. When you zooming in on Video or photo mode its really laggy , not really a problem on photo mode but in video mode its absolutely suck , when i try to zoom in something smoothly , its lag like hell. 6. No reverse or wireless charging , as its really useful when ur friends or family phone running out of battery but u got some extra juice to share. Good things : 1. Battery is no doubt one of the best i had ever used , i used few phone with best battery like iPhone XR and Mate 20 pro , surprisingly this P30 last longer than both of them even though mate 20 pro is larger capacity. 2. Performance no complain here , really speedy and smooth though sometime the software animation can make it look abit lag. 3. Photo Quality is great especially in low light shot , but video still need improvement. 4. I would give the display 8/10 , its a really great display but the reason i rated it 8/10 is because i have used something better like S10+ , but no doubt this display is already great. 5. Charging speed is really fast for average user , but for me it's decent because i used 40W super charging on mate 20 pro which is insane. 6. Really like the design of this phone , in my opinion it's one of the best looking phone From the back , if its only in Breathing crystal colour which is the one I'm using right now. It's also really durable and solid , dropped alot of time without case or tempered glass , left abit of scratches and tiny dents and good to go. 7. Doesn't really matter to me but hey it's got headphone jack.
@@Owen-bl7xn thanks for the advice! I really can't decide yet as I am enjoying the camera of huawei which is I'm using right now the P10 which I don't think iphone is better than this and I also don't have problem with the software, still fast after 2 years and the battery is really good! The thing that I don't like is the video quality of P30 and I just knew from you that we can't use it under water. 👎🏼 What I like about iPhone is really the OS and the quality of the video. I think it would also help me with my productivity as I'm using Macbook
And coming from a huawei phone it’s software is trying so hard to copy iOS and definitely results into an terrible software experience, just the the consistency is lacking.
Both are good, iPhone has better consistency in colors for photos and p30 pro has more camera options. It’s how you would want to use your phone and how you take photos
@@danielsin I would've thought that the P30 pro is the best at night with no concurrence. But hey, you're the one trying them, so you're better placed than me ! Thanks for the asnwers !
@@danielsin yeah with cheaper price p30 some android have what ios doesnt have same goes to ios so far p30 still doing good for me compare to price im go with p30 good camera, games and else
Pls help me. Just one more verification. Is this p30 can support game livestreaming even tho the game graphics is low? Pls pls answer. I cant afford the p30 pro just for 8gb ram!!
It depends if you want a android phone. Usually people who have an iPhone stays in the apple ecosystem. I would say the biggest upgrade you will get is the triple system camera
I like those comparison movies a lot. However is there anywhere a comparison between huawei p30 and iPhone 11 pro,??? I can only find this one or 11 pro and 30 pro it's always 30 pro, but I cannot decide between huawei 30 (without pro, it's too big) and iPhone 11 pro (never used an iPhone 🙈🤷♀️). The phone I use now is the huawei p20 but the battery life is short (I bought a used one).
Here is my life experience. I changed from an iPhone 6 to a huawei mate 9 back in 2018. I had the huawei mate 9 until I got the huawei mate 10 pro. And hardware wise, huawei is superior in every way. But. Software wise iphone is superior. I own an iPhone 11 now and honestly I missed it. Because my huawei mate 10 pro, that released the same year that the iPhone X. Can not update to Android 10, as of right now. When the iPhone X already has ios 13. And I am a man who needs better software than hardware. Because I don't find myself taking much pictures and I don't need anything fancy. Just quality videos and pictures. So I personally like the iPhone because they stay updated longer than huawei phones. But if you are a person who cares about the hardware gimmicks then be my guest and go with huawei
Thanks for your input! I stopped using the iPhone 6 and went to android for a couple of years. Got back into iPhones when the XR came out and felt right back at home.
@@danielsin yeah, people hate on apple because they dont have the latest hardware gimmicks or something. When truly Apple focuses on making superior software. And even now the hardware Apple has is more than enough for me. Things like face ID. Or the true tone display. Even how they manage to get their batteries to last longer even though they aren't that big. Sure maybe phones have bigger batteries, but Apple instead of using that space for battery they use it for hardware than influences in the over all software. Sure they are more expensive. But they last longer than most Android phones. So technically you can save more money with iPhone because you don't have to upgrade that often.
@@linahussain8818 I find the camera more consistent with the iPhone, esp doing videos for snapchat and Instagram stories. It's much smoother zooming in and out while recording
