the fact that he already loaded the apps on the iphone 11 beforehand of this video to make samsung look bad thats really bad and stupid because all the apps on Samsung were never opened but on the iPhone they already were so witch means less loading time
Opening apps at the same time isn't really an accurate way to test the speed of a phone. A lot of apps are written in different programming languages from android to ios which can impact how fast apps open or how long a splash screen is displayed.
There were obviously different versions of apps, some startup apps looked totally different on the s10, you should've signed in and accepted all terms before loading apps. Also the resolution on some apps doesn't automatically go to full screen, that's easily fixed by opening the full screen apps setting (you can search it from the settings menu) and toggle all the apps to go full screen.
Tech Triangle I used to be a Android guy, since the HTC hero, last phoned were Samsung’s , and all of the androids UI would have Radom reboots , app force close , camera stop working promts. Had my iPhone 6s Plus since 2015 and it’s still works like the day I got it . Has android improved?
@@rmcmunoz2 andorid has improved a lot I have always been an andoird guy and I dont know much about midrange segment but flagship andoird phones are fantastic
@@rmcmunoz2 oh yeah man, in 4,5 years of time, Android has improved alot. Companies are improving specs & performance so that it is substantially better than what is was before. They are creating new ideas to make your experience with phones easier, for example, Samsung's new One UI Skin for Android. Stunningly pleasing to the eyes, simple and easy to understand/use. Doesn't have random reboots and most apps are all good to run on Samsung devices.
But Android in general has immensely improved with bug fixes, removing re-occuring issues, new features, etc. Some mid tier android phones are pretty decent as well, depending which ones you get. Beta programs are also open for users to experience the next update for their OS that will help companies understand users better. Like Google for example. Flagship androids are running better than ever and are improving a lot. But both platforms will have their pros and cons, so evaluate which one you think it good for now
No offense but being a developer I can tell you it is downright ridiculous to test app launching speeds on devices with completely different platforms (Android and iOS). Each app is optimised differently for each platform, also depending on which platform the devs focused on increasing performance more. Reviewers need to stop this.
My kids just broke my wife's galaxy s6edge last month & it was almost as fast as my friends i phone 11..but had to change the phone to s10 cuz it was almost the same price as a new phone
@@jaymsjags06 the Galaxy s4 Still has support and it was a joke every time an fanboy See's something that can be used as an insult they just get angry and you are one of those people. iPhone sheep
@Juan Serrano personally I would not make the switch back because of how much I have been amazed by the S10+ and I also think that there isn't much difference between the iPhone 10 and the 11
Don't let this blind you by the fact that iPhone has been using the same design for 3 years now Edit: Even the iPhone 12 is having the same notch lmfao
@@sulaman4280 nah you can t compare camera of these 2. S10 can t shot 4k 60 fps on front face. Can t record 4k 60 fps with ultrawide and more. The o l thing S10 own here is the display. Nothing else. Although, is a good phone ofc. For me, who i have eyes problem, oled is hurting my eyes so bad, so i go for iphone.
@@sulaman4280 samsung had literally built the screen so it doesnt hurt your eyes Tf you talking about 😆 s10 can record 4k on front camera on android 10
Went Back to the iPhone... I had the s10, amazing phone, but I love how smooth the iOS is. The keyboard on the android kills me. It’s awful. The camera on the s10 is awesome, but the screen bugs me a lot. I know it is a better screen but it really hurts my eyes, I don’t know why.
Good video. My only critique would be around the 1:00 mark. Saying that the s10 was released a couple of months ago and released sooner but "not by much". They were released over 7 months apart. Which in the phone world is nearly a generation.
iPhone 11 the same price as the s10 right now Him: s10 has three cameras bigger screen more features amoled Me: thinking about how much I can flex at school with my iPhone Me: buying the iPhone 11 with my own money The rich kid at skl with his 11 pro max Me:🤦♂️ Edit: thanks for all the likes Here’s an update on what I did I got the iPhone 11 sold it for 600 pounds got a used iPhone X but in perfect condition bought airpods and still have 150 pound left
The choice been the two is very simple. If you care about your “status”, then get an iPhone. That’s what it feels like to me, at least. I appreciate the Samsung and Android freedom, but I like the idea of fitting in with everyone else.
@@jackdamenace13 I'm just reading your nonsense on an S6 edge plus that is four years old and still a better display than the iPhone 11 has .(2560x1440)
I have used apple for 4 years, had the iphone 4,5s,6 and 8 and I moved to the s10 and its the best switch I made. And those saying that the iphone 11 has more power. you can't use the power to its capabilities. The s10 might not have as much raw power but it can do a ton more
Grant Haffner I want an android so bad. Especially the s10! I have an iPhone 8 plus, and I swear they keep updating it to make it worse. It just gets old because you can’t really do much with it.
the fact that he already loaded the apps on the iphone 11 beforehand of this video to make samsung look bad thats really bad and stupid because all the apps on Samsung were never opened but on the iPhone they already were so witch means less loading time
Ikr I honestly don't give a f about which phone someone has, but this is an unfair comparison which can be misleading to someone that was abt to get a samsung.
I switched from galaxy s8 to Iphone Xs last year. The iphone would be perfect if they would add some functions from android. - the option to close all apps at once. Instead of one by one. - open the notification menu by swiping down from anywhere on the screen. - USB-C - Notifications on lock-screen should be presented like in android.
You'll get bored by the looks after only 1-2 months. Superior software is with iPhone, and all Samsung's got is looks. The performance, ecosystem and the snap, ig Android blunder makes iPhone so much better. Also don't buy Samsung if you're expecting exynos chipset otherwise you'll crazy regret it like I am (s10).
Great video. But just a suggestion: please clean the phones before shooting upclose footage of them. The grease marks don't look nice. I know it's more work for you, but it'd just make the video even better.
Your S10 seems like slower than the iPhone 11 because your phone is running with android 10 beta.. its not fair. So it should be any bugs on it You have to compare those phone with the original version of OS
Dear fellow iphone users, If u have one of the latest iPhones such as the iphone x or 11 pro you will be glad to know that you have one of the best screens This screen is called the oled screen. The company that created this screen is SAMSUNG. and so you iphone consumers are helping Samsung make profit. Please respect Samsung coz their the reason why the iPhone has improved and so I dont want anyone dissing Samsung for the wrong reasons. Also when u are reading this message have a look at your screen and thank samsung for their hard work and dedication. Thank you. ( the way I have to write so politely in order to make iphone users listen )
As the biggest Samsung fan i can tell you this is wrong since Samsung only manufactures the screen they do not do the R&D for the screen:) its like saying Foxconn made iPhone 11 since they assembled it on a physical level yes but it was entirely designed by apple
I am and always have been an android user, but these issues with Samsung are exactly why I am switching to iPhone, because they start to freeze about in about 2 years or earlier...
I’m watching this on my new iPhone 11. I been a Samsung galaxy user for years! I needed a new phone upgrade and something different from my galaxy s8 plus and I bought the iPhone 11 in red! So far I like it 💁🏻♂️
My heart says the s10. But i have to go with the iphone 11. My S9 i was so hyped before i got it. And after 5 months it lagged. So it i kinda regret it. No matter how much samsung makes you fall in love. There's one day you will regret buying it and went for iphone instead
With all due respect, the pricing info is inaccurate. iPhone 11 is cheaper than S10. In fact, all new Samsung Galaxy S and Note devices are more expensive than their iPhone counterparts (location: Canada).
Gestures you use on the samsung are the same as the ones on iphone how did you do that? I spot a single home swipe which you also use as recent apps en backwards from the site. Do you use external apps or are those available in the settings?
True, the beta version of your phone will not compare to the original experience, speed, etc. The beta us not optimized for everything, including apps, and even in the program conditions, it stated that it may be "unstable" I am on the beta program it's not that bad, minor bugs and issues, but it's a beta. What do you expect? The most smoothest experience ever?
You have to go with the S10. extra camera and Black Friday deal is the same price as the 11 with free galaxy buds. I have used crappy Android's my whole life and I have always wanted apple but I don't like what they're doing basically selling the same phone
The problem with custom roms on samsung phones is that the camera processing relies heavily on the stock samsung framework so when you install aosp custom roms the camera performance will be worse
Still having my s10 as my daily driver since launch and it'w now Sept 2022 and this phone continues to impress me. The only downside I guess is now battery life, but guess what Samsung does it in their shop for around 50£. Oh, want more? It uses the latest Android version at this point ;) Has an audio jack, miniSD slot, does well in popup view or split screen modes, still takes amazing pictures, the in screen fingerprint sensor works like a charm now. I was very tempted to buy a new phone, but this S10 just doesn't give me any reason at this stage to want to change it. All in all I love my phone .
I’ve used Samsung for the past 4 years and every time I get a new phone it would get old fast, camera was always rated great but in reality when compared to an iPhone it was way worse. Idk how to explain it, iPhone always feels like a refined and polished high quality product meanwhile the galaxy feels like a rushed product even if it’s better on paper
maybe ur just bad at photography you ever thought about that. and android phone manufactures like to experiment with designs and other stuff, while apple is a bunch of pussies copying designs
This looks like you already had been using the iPhone but it was the first time you had touched the s10, going by all the TOC popups and other screens we're seeing. Applications are cached, even if they're opened or not. Of course initial load out of an application is slow...
I am just wondering which one to upgrade to? Iphone 11 or s10. I have a s7 and its getting old and glitchy. I just want a good phone with good memory and great to play games on and can work good. But i don't want a face id or switch face id to finger id. I just wanna know what people thoughts are for both phones.
Bob Ross I don’t care what about 1440p I can still watch my movies and not worry about screen burn😂😂 am good over here as long as I can watch my RU-vid videos and my movies and get all the latest updates I am good and the screen is perfect for me on my iPhone 11 so I don’t really care about anything else I ain’t no tech nerd round ere so I really don’t care I had Samsung note 10 plus Samsung s10 all the newest smartphones and it wasn’t for me just like Iphone isn’t for you stop being so pressed about other people perspective on smartphones I can’t complain and at least I ain’t out ere rolling with no budget phone am good over here worry about yourself mate 👏🏾✌🏾
Why don't you use more resource hungry apps to compare performance? Using apps that open pretty much straight away and with fraction-of-a-second difference is pointless especially when that difference could be due to your finger hitting one of the screens slightly sooner.
I know what the issue is she registered her fingerprint before removing the case so the scanner just scanned the imperfections on the case instead of her finger so it can be fooled Samsung has also stated that 3rd party cases don't work with ultrasonic sensor Same way you wouldn't setup your face unlock with a mask and give that mask to a different person and they unlock your phone same concept, calm down people it all boils dow to a tec illiterate person making a statement and media picking it out and making a bigger deal out of it than it was in the first place
I love both of the phones but i like samsung s10 more i just think people buys expensive iphone because its a apple product and want to show off but dont got me wrong iphone is a really great phone but i like the s10😅
This idea of clicking the same app in different phones with your hand at the same time is stupid there was a clear delay when clicking on twitter and Apple just barely was “ faster at loading”
Clear your tabs. Look up apps that drain battery. Unistal apps that take up storage and delete pics that you don't really need. Turn off certain settings or just turn on dark mode on home screen/ all apps.
I've always been an Android user and I've been changing my phone every 2 years because they keep glitching and hanging so I'm going to try out iPhone this time. And for some reason IG story keeps glitching and the quality of the videos are worse on Android. Is it just me?
Nah iss me too. I feel like Android is better but after a year the phone slows down and glitches and it gets all weird. For iPhone it just stays consistent so I'm considering to switch.
There was something wrong with your s10, I have an s10+ (same internals as s10) and I never had any of those hanging issues you had with a couple of apps.
Now if you think about it, if you win a few milliseconds for each app start, that's not a big difference... Unless you start Instagram a few thousand times each day, but that's not a tech problem, that's a medical issue 😬
biased presentation. Deliberately lower the brightness of samsung to make iphone looks better. On the speed, looks like u did not clear the iphone cache.
apple better step up their game they're playing catch up at this point, phones are evolving and they're barely catching up in features against Android's
@@John-vy2jb you act like apple phones are cheap the last few phones have been between $800-$1200 but with no useful features. but I do agree the next iPhone is gonna be way cheaper
I just think the gestures and overall performance on the iphone is smoother. But customisation on the iphone is very limited and the screen resolution is a bit doodoo. In my opinion (having used both phones) they’re pretty much the same its just if u prefer ios or android.
Okay...apps opening faster. Can we compare other features? It looks like all of the apps run the same. Why pay so much more money for split seconds of time?
LITERALLY THE ONLY REASON I WOULD BUY AN iPhone IS BECAUSE of my apple watch, AirPods, facetime and iMessage, 2k for a phone my ass. IF SAMSUNG HAS THIS I WOULD BUY IT BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT DOESNT :((((
I had iphone 8 and moved to samsung s10 and I like it but sometimes I got to do extra to see notifications and I hate that most of the times there is accidental touches when in my pocket among other things so idk if I should get an iphone 11
Trust me Apple is better in every way. Optimisation, low fragmentation, long-term software support, amazing reliability durability with components used on phones (e.g. battery), ecosystem is amazing, etc. Trust me your mom made an amazing choice, Android devices do not last that long.
