@@curtisharrington858 How so? What sort of screen-on time are you getting? Do you have high performance mode enabled? What sort of usage are you getting out of it? i.e. web browsing, videos, gaming etc...

@@insidetechltd hey, I get around 3.5 to 5 hours screen on time with 12 or so hours on the battery from 100%. I don't ever play games, I stream around 45 minutes of video a day. however, I keep the battery settings on optimised? For such a large battery I can't help but feel Im ment to be getting more out of it, it's the main reason I brought the phone. I should mention this is the UK version which doesn't have the snapdragon inside.

@@curtisharrington858 Hmmm, well the good news is that that doesn't sound drastically bad (not "faulty device" bad). With optimised battery settings though I would expect you to be getting more. The difference in the Snapdragon and Exynos processors isn't drastic, not to the point where you'd see hours worth of difference in battery life. You could drop your screen resolution down from QuadHD+ (if you put this up), also monitor the high battery-consuming apps in the battery settings page - see if you can narrow down what's draining your battery. If you use the 'always on display' this will significantly impact on battery life too. Otherwise, it's quite difficult to offer advice without seeing and experiencing the issue for myself. Make sure all software is up to date, monitor your battery consumption for a few days and see if you can establish what the cause is. I'm sorry I can't help any more right now but keep us posted and i'll do my best!

yeah, i loooove it! alot of friends of mine got in white, i thnk white is awsome to, but the prism black is soo sick clean, and it aint like black black, more like blak/gray polish color, i think its aaawsome🔥 , and its classy and i feel the color wont get "boring" altso, looks cool with Case and everything👌 so im rly glad i went with Prism black (black/BlackGray) 🤩🤩🤩

The finger print sensor is also way faster if you just tap the screen once when it is off. That method is nearly three times faster than the one shown in this video. It is also way faster than my S8+.

It is a worthy upgrade if you are not someone who uses the SPen. If the SPen is a need for you then just wait for the Note 10. Otherwise the display, the sound quality and the form factor of the S10 Plus are better than the Note 9.

Great content quality on this channel, you got yourself a new sub. Phone looks great, but I could never understand Samsung's obsession with placing the power button so high up. Nobody else does that, but they keep doing it year after year.

Correction, they don't the s9 didn't have this problem and even the s7 edge I'm using right now. Apple on the other hand always placed their power buttons high up. Even in current iPhones. I feel like people are always looking for something to complain about.

@@kay_kay0710 Yes I should probably clarify: it's only been an actual issue this year with the new S10 models. As for Apple devices, I've personally never experienced this issue with an iPhone - even on the tallest XS Max. I'll actually be covering this in my XS Max vs Galaxy S10 video, since the power button is noticeably higher up on the Samsung. I don't really think it's a case of seeking out faults, it's just good that people raise any issues they've encountered so that everyone can have as much of an informed opinion before purchasing as possible.

4-30-2023 Got the Performance Edition (12g ram/1TB) in an unopened box. Having sat for 4 years it was as dead as a doornail. After charging and not even registering a charge I did a Hard Reset (Volumne up/Bixby button) and it fired right up. It was 2 whole days and 11 updates to bring it current from One UI 1.1 (Android 9) to UI 4.1 (Android 12). Aside from getting used to the weight (198G) I'm loving it. Spec-wise it's still out does most phones on the market today, even Samsungs own. Highly recommend getting one!

So if you go onto wallpapers then under “My Wallpapers” at the top you’ll probably have an option that says “multi pack” if you set those as your wallpaper then it will cycle through them each time you unlock the phone

There's a great online community with hundreds of options available. If you do a quick Google search for 'Galaxy S10 hole punch wallpapers' - there should be plenty of options to choose from. I just downloaded some free ones I found online!

I love everything about the phone my only issue is the processing of image is most often washed out but I learn how to fix that now...Gallery> choose pic you want to edit> Hit pencil icon> list of options will appear underneath your pic.. from filter, emoji, stickers, text and lasty the sun icon where you can play around the pic colour wise.... if you still need more you can click on the 3 dots .... enter advance setting. Few more options to work with. Play around with it. Soon you will get used to it.

@@neeeeyeh you have to adjust your settings.... everything in camera on this phone seems to be manually operated.. After you take the pic you can edit it using Samsung app that's already build into the device.. click on the the 3 dots .... to go into advance editing more. From here you can change iso, exposure w/b balance. Literally everything to make the picture your own....

Hi , I have a question , just bought a s10+ , wondering why on some devices on the back of the phone is just the Samsung logo and nothing else and on others Is Samsung logo and on the bottom I got some other logo like CE and other things ?? I got a green prism and i just got the Samsung logo and down it's like a bin and a line that's it .. ? Regards

Good question! This depends on your region. I mentioned this in iPhone reviews too, in the U.S. a bill was passed so that these symbols no longer need to be on the back of the phone. But in the U.K., these must still be on the phone by law. So depending on which region the phone was manufactured for you may or may not see these symbols.

This was removed in a previous iteration since this affected S9s, Note 9s etc. It's not new with OneUI software. Still lots of people who want this brought back though!

I have a pixel 2 XL had it for a year have enjoyed it but I guess I just want to change and I already have a Samsung tablet so I was thinking of switching back to Samsung and getting the S10+is that a smart idea is it a better phone?and did they fix the whole security problem the s9 had where pictures were being transmitted without permission?

Does anyone know if the S10+ can be setup to" Auto answer with speaker phone enable. "will give you the option to Answer or Reject phone call after this S10+ reads out the Caller ID. This feature was in-cooperated in the Note 3. No other commands was needed to accept or reject calls, Just Voice only, No Bixby or any other AI necessary. Please reply only if you know for sure. Thank you very much! Honestly, both look great! I think the black is more classic and professional, but the prism effect on the white looks better in real life - it's harder to see on the black model. I'd personally go for white but if you're going to cover it up with a case anyway then it doesn't matter too much!

Good review. Subscribed. In your opinion which color looks the best and why. Prism black, prism white, prism blue or ceramic black? I'm confused between prism black and ceramic black.

Thank you! Honestly, the light that is reflected by the prism white model looks really good - and is far less of a fingerprint magnet than the darker models. I personally quite like the prism black too, it reflects fewer colours than the white, but still looks really cool. For this reason I also prefer it over the ceramic versions, despite the drop in durability.

@@insidetechltd Thanks! Prism white is out of stock in India. I'm heading to Samsung store tomorrow to get either the prism black or ceramic black. With Ceramic black I'm getting nearly $175 discount. Total effective price is $1165. With prism black I'm getting at $1007. (with discount) With that discounted price is the Ceramic one worth it?

I assume that the ceramic option also comes with the higher internal storage than the prism black...? If so, it's probably worth it - especially if you want to use it without a phone case. The higher storage would be the bigger influencing factor for me though!

Do you mean the Dex feature? This isn’t exclusive to the new S10s so I didn’t cover this in the review. I did mention it in my iPhone vs Galaxy video though!

I have this phone quite some time ago and here I have one q. Every time I turn on mobile data it keeps on notifying me can I turn it on or cancel it just below the screen. Is it the mode of the phone or can I just adjust it through setting? Thanks in advance. Overall S10+ is awesome smartphone!!!

Now my major issue with these newer flagships is why are they finding it difficult to have Wide Angle lens on their selfie cameras?? I've gone through a couple of tech specs of other Android phone brands online and none of them seem to have wide angle on their selfie cameras (hardly, which really SUCKS. I'm looking to buy a new phone with at least FoV 100 - 120° on the selfie camera. I came across Samsung A80 which boasts of something close but lacks every other thing i'll like to have in a flagship. I once used an LG G6, a phone made in 2017, pretty decent phone in its time, had an F2.2 selfie camera with FoV of 100° and i did enjoy using it., but whats more mind boggling for me right now is why are the much NEWER flagships (with relatively more powerful/upgraded chipsets) not improving on that??? instead they're all coming out with standard angle selfie cameras with FoV much lower than 80° (as standard angle) contrary to what i was expecting. LG G8X, LG G8, LG V50, SAMSUNG GALAXY S20, S10, S10+ , ONE PLUS 7, etc all fell short., much to my disappointment. After my search i settled on two potential flagships that i could buy: Samsung S10+ or LG V50 but upon checking their detailed specs, both phones' selfie cameras have FOV of 90° @F2.2 which are even more inferior compared to the LG G6 i once owned which had FOV 100° @F2.2. If a phone made in 2017 had up to 100° FOV on its front facing camera and did well at it, why are the newer flagships finding it difficult to improve on that? i mean obviously they're being released with a much more powerful & improved chipset, hardware and all compared to their predecessors. I really just find it hard to believe. Jury's still out however, and if i cant find anything better then i'd have to ultimately settle for either the S10+ or the LG V50. Also, Suggestions are highly welcomed from anyone that knows a flagship with a much better wide angle selfie cam. While there's always the alternative of flipping my phone to landscape mode occasionally, before shooting with the front facing cam just to have a slightly wider view, i just often like to shoot in portrait mode with selfie cam and would just love to do that with a wide angle lens going with it.

I switched from s8+ to s10+ a week ago and just wanted to make a point that I guess most of us have not noticed...the clock icon on One UI displays actual time!...the rest of the features are great to me since I am just a general mobile user guy...

I think the answer is yes if you're referring to 'screen pinning'. Otherwise you can get secure folders (will be on the play store if not already installed on your device)

You can use the camera cut-out on the display as an LED notification light (or edge lighting etc). But there's no dedicated LED as part of the hardware
