Just got the 12 mini from the apple refurbished store - it’s perfect I have my old larger phone , iPad when I’m home. when I’m out I need to make calls, text ,gps and some social media not tons thrilled I got it I’ll definitely buy a 13 mini once apple sells them on the refurbished store
This is why I love your content you cover something like the 12 mini long term most aren't now. I personally loved the 12 and 13 mini because I prefer more compact phones. Battery life was horrible on the 12 mini but if you don't mind charging your phone it's a great small phone. I also loved that sharp blue color. I had it on the iPhone 12 I had and it popped. I did have a 13 mini later on and it was awesome too. I love the 5.4 inch size screen because it feels more like a classic iPhone. Obviously the biggest upside to getting a 12 mini now would be the cheaper price.
I am using the 12 mini and the first gen SE (as a backup phone). The battery for me is ok since i work from home and most of the time it is just on my dock. I enjoy using it and I hope there are still small iphones. I prefer having a small phone with a mediocre battery than a big cumbersome phone that is a pain to carry outside.
Mine lasted the full day no problem. People like to complain for nothing,especially those who have nothing to do except playing with their MPs all day long. if your battery is dead by 1pm just scrolling some webs then you need to change it ,probably a default one 😂
You probably had your 5g and everything on that sucks battery. You didn't even talk about MagSafe since the lightning charging sucks you should've at least talked about it. It is sad to see it go but I think we will see a mini iPhone again when Apple has switched to newer battery technology which should be 5 years or so. I just love the size but the battery life sucks but with these new qi2 battery packs you could charge efficiently in your pocket without cables
Even the 13 mini is no good on battery… i have to charge my 12 mini atleast 80% if i hv to go out for 2 hours…. If i use the camera app say good bye to battery. The screen on time i got on my 12 mini at 92% battery health was around 3-4 hours at max which is worse than my iphone x I purchased 4 years ago
It’s called get a life people, don’t get me wrong, I understand that some people like to have their phones last them an entire day or two, but tablets exist for a reason. no one‘s forcing you to keep the iPhone 12 mini, if you don’t like it, exchange it. this is for all the pro users who criticize that phone for its lackluster battery life.
a lot of people want to play ps2 games on their phones, spend hours watching trash on social media, doing nothgin at all, people who has a life just take photos, answers backs messages, call, or spend time on work or banks apps, don't get me wrong, but the most battery you need the most lazy a** you are @@marklizemore5282
To many people the battery IS an issue, especially for heavy users. What's the point of having a phone packed with great specs, features, and fancy display if it's dead by 6 pm when you need it most or make an urgent phonecall? What do you pay all this money for? There were much cheaper smartphones back in the day that could easily get you through the day. Maybe not that fancy as the iPhone, but then if you're not going to use all the features to save the battery then it defeats the whole purpose of having it right? Get a cheaper phone for some basic use and you're gonna be just fine.
