My question is: when selecting which line to use for data, will the secondary line still have incoming "data only" communication (for example whatsapp audio, facetime audio, iMessage etc - from the line that hasn't been selected as host for data) Does that question make sense?

What if in the future we don't want use dual sim, due to we need to give one sim to other family member, in this case do we need to call carrier to convert esim back to physical sim? (Hope it's not an issue otherwise we'll have to call carrier for it....and make thing everything so complicated~)

nice job. thanks for showing the switch to LTE from 5G when activating both lines on same phone but i did notice both lines were with same carrier - Verizon. I am using Tmobile and Visible I'll have to try that and see if I get that same result. BTW You should be happy to get any signal in the basement...

Hi I have two questions. One about battery life. If both lines are active and the phone is on but not in use. Will the battery drain quicker with two active lines compared to just one. That’s a bummer that if you’re using both lines that 5G won’t work. I live in an area where T-mobile and Verizon have 5G. T-mobile’s 5G data is much faster than Verizon’s LTE/5G in my area. Edit: Great video BTW very informative!

For anyone wanting to use dual sim, In txt messages you can only select which line to use when creating a new thread. All existing txt threads will stay on the original line, the only way to change the line is to delete the whole thread and create a new one. This can be very annoying if you have people who message you on both numbers. Also in your message inbox the only way to tell which messages are from each line is the select the contact/name - tap info - there it will say which lines is being used. (Unlike the calls list, which as a Letter next to the number) In my case B (Business) P (Personal) but will change depending on what you call your lines.

Get a android Get a apple for each sim u get the best both world. which is pretty impressive on top end models losing a dual sim phone is biggest con of all time cos it painful initially to restore back everything. Apple pro max for personal A Samsung Galaxy Note Series for Work. Both are neck and neck innovation. Both eco systems are awesome with Samsung legendary over bloated gizmos. But Note Series is apart from rest in terms of productivity. Apple is real privacy block. Both eco system has lot of back doors cos hackers are always trying to front finding back doors in both ecosystems. Android being Microsoft windows version of virus editions. Apple are superior in terms well thought out usability for less geeky ones put there.

The pros and cons on this video are not that helpful in my opinion. Yes, obviously having 1 phone saves money on the second one. Yes, you dont carry two phones at once anymore, yes, quite obvious that, when you use your mobile more due to whatever (even an E-sim) the battery life will shorten. These aren't pros and cons, there are FACTS. I'm looking for technical pro's and con's and user experience. But still pretty helpful video, thanks.

If the objective is to determine whether your idea is going to work, don't make the audience wait in real time for the idea to be answered by your real life circumstances. Your video editing is good, except that you completely underutilized your editing by just skipping to the point on whether your phone line will switch to 5g automatically.

What happens if its a data only PLAN and you set it to your default line? When traveling overseas I assume you don't want to be able to use your US number that may charge you $1 / min or $1 per megabyte! My main line now is pay as you go and will not work at all overseas, blocked but obvious I can do wifi calling.
