I bought this case last week for my 12 Pro from Best Buy, I like Symmetry cases for their Design, Style, Thinness & you can never go wrong with Otterbox. And it works great with MagSafe.
You nailed it when you mentioned the width. I bought this yesterday and I couldn’t put my finger on why it was uncomfortable to hold as it’s one of the thinnest cases I own-it’s because it’s wide. It took me a second to realize that. Nice call on mentioning that👍🏾

Nice job in demonstrating the pros and the cons of the case. I was a big OtterBox fan and then fell out of love with the brand because it took away the iPhone’s elegant design, thus bringing my level of joy down with it LOL. Yes, my iPhone was safe and sound, entombed in its case, but gone was the beauty along with it. I’m going to try this case on my new iPhone 12 Pro Max in the clear color choice and hope that it keeps my phone protected as well as keeping my levels of joy up. I have a clear Symmetry and a mat black one for my 11 pro max and a mat black on my 11. It is my go to case, it is wide enough to comfortably type on with large hands and slim enough for my pocket while giving my phone the protection Otterbox is known for.
I bought this case the other day in blue since I have the blue iPhone 12. Case is great. Fits well. Buttons feel nice and magnet for MagSafe works great. The blue isn’t as navy as I’d like so think I’m gonna return it for black. Other than that it doesn’t disappoint.
I really like this case... the only thing I don’t like is the OtterBox branding on the back I wish it was down further towards the bottom and smaller. Other than that the case it’s probably top three in my opinion
Beat buy is so expensive especially when it comes to cases. I was there yesterday and they had a speck case it was 49.99. Today at TJ Maxx I got the same case for $4 and invisible shield glass screen protector for $3 that's 39.99 at best buy
Is the Magsafe through the case strong enough to use on car mounts like the Belkin? And is that white magnet sticker on the interior sturdy? Looks kind of flimsy like it might come off over time.
Right now I’m bouncing back and forth between the Caudabe Sheath and the Dbrand Grip. If I had to choose between those two I would have to choose the Symmetry and it’s honestly really hard to say because I really like them both.
You know I was thinking about it and it’s really personal preference if you use MagSafe. I could easily get the non MagSafe version because I don’t use it all the time but I’m trying to use it more.
