Apple managed to pack literally 8 hours of battery life in a chewing gum stick shaped 2400 mah battery. Hats off Apple

I own a 6.7" phone... But I still find the Mini so interesting cause it really *packs a LOT of performance for such a small size*

Anybody who’s curious how 12 mini stacks up against 13 mini in battery. From previous videos the 12 mini’s screen on time is at 7 hours and 40 mins while 13 mini is at 8hours and 30 mins.

Can you please do Low power mode vs Normal power mode test on the 13 Pro Max. Low power mode on the Pro models keeps the refresh rate at 60Hz so it would be good to see what the difference would be in either keeping it at 60Hz or allow it to vary depending on what content is being displayed.

As someone who owns a 13 mini, I have been very pleased with the battery. I don't use 5G but I have my brightness on 75% with auto brightness off and most days I can get 6 hours sot by the time I get the 20% warning and that is including alot of youtube watching and Instagram lol. The only times its gotten low on me is if I forgot to charge it the previous night but even then I have a fast charging car charger so if I'm out and need juice I can just throw it on that. If you're upgrading from an Xs or older, battery is a HUGE improvement! It's much better than my previous pixel 4a.

I'd still go for the 13 mini as it would easily last a full working day! Also, the smaller form factor is really cute and handy!

You can turn off app background and some of the location that doesn’t need to be on all the time as well put it on battery saving and will give you extra power saving!

I see these battery test going against smaller batteries with bigger batteries and having the 13 mini keep up with the 13 through the majority of the test shows how well the battery optimization that Apple has put in, it’s better than the 12 mini’s battery. I have the iPhone 12 mini and it’s battery is not bad it’ll last me pretty much through the day and I’m a heavy user. I look forward to getting the iPhone 13 mini and enjoying the small form factor. Maybe you should put the 13 mini and the 12 mini against other small battery smart phones and see how well they do that is where you’ll see how well the batteries do not against somebody that has 1000 mAh above the smaller phone.

The 13 mini is quite impressive, based on its wonderful size. I just recently bought the 13 mini and I couldn’t be happier (traded in my 13 pro as it was too big and heavy). If I do run a little low on battery later in the day I can charge the minis smaller battery quite quickly.

I wonder how long an android flagship would last if it had just 2400 mAH battery ? They usually require 5000 mAH to reach 10 hours, so I’m guessing less than 5 hours of SOT if 2400 mAH. Considering that mini reached 8.5 hours, it’s really impressive

This is by far the best battery test!

The iPhone 13 is just so good. The battery life, the camera, the screen etc. The only downsize imo is Sierra Blue is no where near as nice as Pacific blue last year

Seriously, we must recognize that Apple knows how to do it in terms of battery optimization. This mini has in fact practically the same autonomy as an Xs Max 😮.

I have the mini I did 40 minutes of video and and about 30mins of call of duty on one day: and regular usage all day, by 11pm at night I had like 24% after a whole day of use. So I don’t think is bad at all!

You guys can do a battery test with the lowest brightness settings. I bet they can last longer than 10 hrs. Maybe turn off the background lights so that the camera can see the phone.

I have 12 mini for 2 years and battery life has become a huge problem. I'm considering changing it to 13 mini but i really worry about the battery life. My 12 mini accumulator dropped to 86%. And now I need to charge it twice a day (I use SNS, scroll Instagram but no games or RU-vid). I wonder will the story repeat with 13 mini? Will it's battery drop the same way?I need light and small device since I have some problems with wrists. What would you recommend -13 mini or 13 base model?

The 13 minis battery life is amazing and in real world usage, 99.99% people will have 0 problems with it..in fact it is way better than even the IPHONE 12 (the normal not the mini) which is ridiculous for a battery that small…just go for the mini this year u will be very much satisfied given u don’t care about 120hz

I usally start my day with my 13 mini at 100% and when I get home from school its usally at 70%-50% depending on how much I used it I then use it until it gets to 20% and charge it which by then its probally 7-8pm and I charge it to maybe 60% and when I got to sleep at 10:30pm its usually at 30% put it to charge on slow charger and repeat.
