13 Pro Max is probably one of the best phones. It defined how battery efficiency should be in current phones. I remember when the initial battery efficiency tests were released everyone was just blown away

@@dread8900 eh, those of us who watch battery drain test know that the 11 series put Apple on the map but it barely beat it's 120hz competitors. 13 series blew everyone away

@@dread8900 idk man, the 11 series wasn't whopping phones by a couple of hours, it was maybe by like half an hour at the most. The battery was good but it wasn't shattering records. Maybe just two different views on when to give Apple props.

13 Pro here, this phone is excellent and it is still recording 98% battery life after nearly 2 years. Battery life still lasts over a day and I use it for at least 5 hours on average a day; I charge from 20 to 80% usually but do extend it sometimes from 20 to ~87% (45-50 minutes charging with 20W charger). I’m considering just changing the battery by 2025 and continuing to use the phone, it should still have updates until 2026.

I love my 13 Pro. I waited an extra year just for ProMotion and don't regret it at all. 3x telephoto has probably been the biggest downside for me, but it's nice that the 14 has 2x optical once again. Also pleasantly suprised by this video releasing in HDR!

I totally agree. My 13 Pro Max about a year and a half after I bought it, my battery health is at 99%. I’m a moderate user. I love my phone. Does everything great, and still looks brand new! On a separate note, it sounds like the 14 pro/Pro max is gets slightly worse battery life than the 13 Pro/Pro Max.

I said it 6 months after released the 13 series; it’s peak iPhone. Basically it gave us everything that most people cared about: ProMotion, brighter screen, great battery, and less heating issues. I don’t think I’ll change phones until an folding iPhone comes out (might be an early adopter of Vision Pro though 😅).

Been using my 13 pro max since november 2021. Battery health is at 92%. But dont let that number fool anyone. This phone's battery is still a beast even at 92% battery health. Still lasts a whole day for me even with heavy use (mostly data connection and streaming videos and music

Iam keeping my 13 pro max tell I cant use it anymore . I love it ! The 14 wasn't a big update to me and I dont care for the dynamic island. I also wont be looking at any new iPhones because they no longer have SIM card trays.

Been using my 13PM since launch and it’s been a champion since than!! Battery life is at 93% and it’s been great to me. I’m waiting until next year with the iPhone 16 before I think about upgrading.

Great video, Aaron! I, too, currently own a 13 Pro Max. I can honestly say that I haven’t been this happy with an iPhone since the iPhone 4s. I’ve owned other iPhone models since then, although it always felt like there was something missing for me. The iPhone 14 Pro for example, is nice and all. It even has some interesting card tricks up its sleeve (Dynamic Island). But the iPhone 13 Pro/Max is the total package in my humble opinion. If I were to put it succinctly, I echo your sentiments exactly: it is the best iPhone Apple have ever released.

I still have my 13 PM. It was my first iPhone after >10 years Android and I have to admit it's the best phone I've ever had. Amazing battery life, great cam, super smooth and fast. I will have a look at the 15series but atm I very happy with that phone. It looks and still feels new and it doesn't have any scratches cause I use a Casekoo case and a Spigen screen protector.

I absolutely love my 13 Pro. Wanted to spring for the Max but I’m happy I got the smaller one. It’s easy to use one handed. My battery health is at 89% and I got in December 2021. I mainly attribute that to the fact I keep it plugged in in my car, as I only have wired CarPlay. Don’t care for the dynamic island on the 14 Pro. Been running great on iOS 17 betas, and supports almost all the new features. And it’s been incredibly durable. I’m a klutz and constantly drop my phone, and it’s even taken an accidental swim at work, but it’s not even phased. I may see what the iPhone 15 offers. But if it isn’t much over the 14 now, I’ll keep my 13 Pro another year.

Just outta curiosity, why bother upgrading to the 15? Why not keep ur phone until it fully gives up? Because these phones are built to last atleast 5 years

No point in getting the 15 pro/max,I’ve the 13 pro since December 2021,battery health at 87%,I’ll get a new battery soon,it used to last a day and a half when it was first new but now it lasts almost a day

@@Headcase-es9dh i would wait until it said to replace it just don’t replace it until 80%… As my mid 2009 MacBook Pro did strive strong and still works and laggy now so i waited out all these years until now its saying replaced battery, so then I decided to upgrade to m1 MacBook Pro but now that’s having issues.

I love my iPhone 13 Pro Max (Sierra Blue). I've had it for 1.5 years and came from the 8+. The battery life is amazing and easily gets me through the day. I won't upgrade for a while. The camera is great in my opinion but I'm not really into photography with this phone, I just take the usual pictures. My battery health is at 93%. I believe it's the best phone for the money (my opinion). Aaron thanks for all the videos you put out. I enjoy and love your channel.

I’ve had my 13proMax 2 years and have only 88% battery health. However, it still lasts a long time on a charge. Thanks for the video, great job. You’re the only reviewer I trust for Apple stuff!

I have the 13 Pro Max and it was my first iPhone since the iPhone 6 and since moving to Android. I bought a 1TB version because I thought I was going to keep it for a long time and so far I think that might be true. My battery is amazing even if the health is ~88%. The only thing that's been a bit weird recently is that the camera sometimes has trouble focusing in dim or dark areas but it doesn't always happen. I do with the zoom was better like the 14 Pro Max but it's not a deal breaker at all. I like my 13 Pro Max and I might only upgrade at the 17 Pro Max or even later.

13 series is my favorite series of iPhone right after iPhone 8. Promotion, the cameras, and battery life was superb. IMO, the 13 series was the best all around iPhone and I regret not keeping mine. That sierra blue was also 🔥🔥

I have had the 13 Pro Max since the initial release and the 15 will have to be an amazing phone before I would consider an upgrade. The 13 does everything I need and did not feel the always on or the dynamic island was worth the upgrade. Hope to see a great phone form the 15, time will tell.

I’m running iPhone 11 since release and to be honest its still a great phone, battery just worn out a little bit. I’m tempted a bit to change phone this year for maybe 14 pro or 15 pro, all in all it depends on prices in Europe… Great vid! Cheers!

Im on 13PM since first days in the stores. Phone is the best one i ever had. Pretty well balanced. Battery health is on 90% but im very hard user doing both private and work stuff on it so i don spare it at all. I dont see currently any other phone even announced ones that catches my eye to change it atm.

I’m still enjoying my 13 Pro and enjoy it. glad i didn’t upgrade to the 14 series based off of what you’ve shared and seeing others having similar issues. I may still stick with it for another year, depending on what the 15 series looks like. Even as the 14 launched, there wasn’t enough of an upgrade for it to be worth it for me. I’ve enjoyed the cameras and the recent update seemed to really tone down the sharpness, since i did notice a little bit too much sharpness to my liking, but doesn’t seem like it was as bad as what the 14s would produce.

I still have this phone and I still think it’s a great phone even without the little extra dynamic Island. I believe this phone won’t be outdated until another 2 years + always on display isnt so necessary since it waste battery as well.

I owned an iPhone 13 pro max for about 10 months, I traded it for the s22 ultra because I personally preferred Andriod. I bought that iPhone thinking that it would be one of the best iPhones of all time and I truly think it is. About 7-8 of my friends got the 13 pro/pm and I haven't heard of any regrets. This phone will stand the test of time

I have the Sierra Blue 13 Pro Max in pristine condition - I keep it in a Book Book case without a screen protector and have zero scratches on the sides or the screen. It has 98% battery health and I only charge every 2nd day. (I use multiple devices throughout the day). This is a perfect iPhone to me and won’t be upgrading anytime soon.🍎

I love my 13 pro, it still looks brand new except 2 tiny stratches that you bearly notice at all and also i got a protective case so it did survive from a fall in the lift and no damage done to the camera at all.. I’m probs gonna hold off until the pro 16/17 comes out- until then the phone works and no issues at all so far - will upgrade to ios17 once it’s out in Sept.

Got mine in Nov 21. One of the best phones I’ve ever had. My ONLY complaint is that it gets hot fast with little use. Battery is 90% which is nice considering the phone gets so hot so fast.

Aaron, The wife has this phone and she has had it for 2 years battery life is at 90 percent. This phone is a workhorse with great Battery. I am using 14 plus and this battery is insane how long it lasts.

My 13 pro max is pristine. Zero scratches on the screen. Here is one thing the 13 pro max has that even the current iPhones doesn’t have is dual sim. E-sim and an actual SIM card slot.

The 13PM was the first iPhone I’ve kept and not upgraded from since the iPhone 7. 13PM has almost every feature I have ever wanted in a phone. I was waiting for that 120hz, and once we got that on this model I knew I was here to stay! I am definitely keeping this phone as long as I can keep using my apps. This is one of Apple’s best iPhones ever!

Have the 13pro max for almost 2 years and it’s perfectly running, battery capacity shows 92% and it has no scratches or anything since I’m using the leather case and always a Screen Protector. Last month I had to change the phone because of the Lightning port (it’s the same model but a new one through the apple support). Wait for the 15pro max 😊

I gotta say I really like my 13 Pro Max! It has 1.04 Terabytes and great picture quality and resolution. Very good battery life and quick internet connection. My battery life is presently around 91%. Music 🎶, videos, movies and games really make my iPhone more fun to use. Best iPhone I ever bought! Now I’m waiting for iOS 17 to download next month. Not sure 🤔 about upgrading to the latest iPhone. I personally don’t believe it will be a major upgrade and the price has increased. I’ll have to do some research and make a decision. Thanks Aaron for reviewing this iPhone 📲 after two years. It’s definitely worth having and owners will get their money’s worth.

I I love my 13 Pro Max & I am still using it as my main phone until I can get my 15 Pro Max which I am getting on September 22nd & I do miss the always on display I wish the 13 Pro Max had it, but it’s lacking in that part & yeah I do have one scratch on the screen which I don’t know where & what caused it & i love the dynamic island on the 14 Pro Max & I wish the 13 Pro Max had the dynamic island because I don’t like having the notch anymore. I love the HDR videos

I preordered an iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB Space Grey back in September 2021 when it was new, I still got it and I will never sell it, I will keep it as a secondary iPhone to play around with (currently using the Beta iOS 17 with it. Currently using a 14 Pro as my main phone (not Max) now. It’s still a beast of a device and will be for like 2-3 more years at least amd easy. The battery degraded really hard, „just“ 83% of maximum capacity right now on mine but STILL amazing battery life for hours and hours. 👍🏼

Love my 13 Pro Max! I'm hoping to upgrade from my 13 Pro Max to a 15 Pro Max. I think the periscope zoom is going to definitely improve the one area that Apple has fallen short, zoom. That's one thing I miss about Samsung Galaxy S series phones, the incredible zoom. I used Samsung Galaxy S series phones since the original Galaxy S right up to the S22 Ultra which I sold after I bought my 13 Pro Max.

Been on a 13 Pro Max since January 2022. Might be the first phone that I don’t upgrade at the end of my carrier agreement. Meanwhile a friend of mine has a 14 Pro Max and his battery health has gone down really fast in less than a year of use.

Great review thanks. The 15 Pro Max just launched and I'm more tempted by a refurbished 13 Pro Max.

I still use my 13 pro max right now and still love it I decided to use it for 2 more years

13 ProMax since 10/2021. Daily used heavily. 88% batt health. Will probably replace battery and keep 2 more years. Wish they had Alpine Green at launch.
