Much needed review, and thanks for being to the point. I currently have an older iPhone along with my primary camera, and seems like upgrading to 14 pro will be worth it. Thank you!
Great video. I enjoy photography and experimenting with compositions with my iPhone, and was thinking about investing into a DSLR camera. This video helps put things into perspective.
That is great to hear! It is honestly shocking how good phone camera's have gotten in just a few years. My old iPhone X still produced amazing images, but the 14 Pro is just on another level.
@@jailbreakoverlander I haven't had the opportunity to properly compare it against my R6 yet, but I have been impressed so far! I almost got the 256gb, but ended up ordering the 512gb for that very reason and had to wait for them to come in.
I'd like to buy iPhone 14 Pro instead of 24mm for now. I just want to focus on buying 200-400 mm lens at first, so since I do have 85 mm already, I thought "24 mm" from the iPhone could be a "SEMI-OK" replacement. I need your opinion about that. I would like to know how it is on 100% of the crop from the photo, mostly 1 per 15 youtubers shows it, and so I think it's not that sharp?
I would classify it as a pretty good 24mm replacement. I have gotten some really nice shots with it over these past few months. You don’t get the same level of depth and separation but there is certainly more separation than I have ever seen with a phone camera and the photos are quite sharp. If you go to my website and fill out the contact form, I can shoot you a link to some raw files for you to check out yourself and maybe help make a decision. Thank you for watching!!!
@@JasonPischke Thank you sir 🙏🙏 phone-photography is going ubelievable crazy tbh, that much that sometimes I can not believe a phone could replace a lens in any way. 😅
