RED isn't 15 times better than a $2.000 camera either. But the possibilities with a RED is endless where it's limited on an iPhone. But I get your point and I'd much rather see an iPhone compared to a $1.000-$1.500 camera setup. iPhone would still loose big time in most categories - but at least it's within the same budget.

It’s not a camera for AF. It’s a cinema camera. Lenses from a cinema world are all manual.

Shoot on low light and you ll get a lot of noise.

@@Tesla25173 yep, it’s still catches up with the latest iphone 15 features. but don’t expect too much in the difference of pictures from 14 to iphone 13-11. They’re almost the same. The 14 just gives a few details, pixels and color to it. But overall, the best feature of it is the video, cinematic and wide lens.

I thought that too. The footage comming off the Red actually looks very dark on most shots.

Exactly my thinking. I wasn't sure if this was raw footage or not. If this is raw footage I agree with a lot of the comments that the Red is clearly an amazing camera but, is it worth the 29 times better? Can sure I could say yes to that. Show me to the lut store. 🤣
