Hey Danny great video as usual but the camera comparison that I’m actually interested about is IPhone 14 (normal) vs iPhone 13 PRO since they have basically the same processor and the same main camera judging from specs, it would also be interesting to see what do you think of Apple software limiting the 13 pro not getting the photonic engine.
If you have the 13 its not really worth it to "upgrade" to the 14 especially if you are only going after the cameras. For average user phones are not meant to be changed every year. The real question is what to get between the 2 if you are upgrading from older models like the iphone 11 and below. Is it worth it to spend 100 dollar more to get the 14 and its new features.
@@Neon-rk2bg Coming from the 11 and before I would say the 14 is amazing. Especially if you use more intensive apps or gaming cuz the 14 gets the 6gb ram, and higher GPU vs the 13. Otherwise both are great options. Every phone except the SE in the iPhone lineup rn is a beast
Your kids must love it when dads got a camera comparison to do 😂 great as always Danny, one of the few reviewers who actually knows how to actually take a well composed photo 👏
Hey Danny great video as usual but the camera comparison that l'm actually interested about is IPhone 14 (normal) vs iPhone 13 PRO since they have basically the same processor and the same main camera judging from specs, it would also be interesting to see what do you think of Apple software limiting the 13 pro not getting the photonic engine. Like if you want the same.
Absolutely, exactly what I'm looking for! Man if you find some comparison between 14 vs 13 pro can you tag me or reply here please? I want to understand if the Photonic Engine makes a difference since they chosen not to give it to the 13 pro despit it's identical to the 14
@@matt91eoo this is a no brainer the 13 pro is objectively better than the 14 everything is the same the photonic engine isn’t much different from Deep Fusion and plus 120hz is a huge selling point and 13 pro off backmarket is cheaper than the 14
I think that would be a no brainer, if you see how small the differences are between the 13 and 14. Simply add the telephoto and macro and you know it's better. I know I appreciate telephoto.
I personally think 13 got more contrast and accurate colors compared to 14. Also the sharpness in 13 is much better than the 14. Too bad for iPhone lineup this year.
You're always the person I look forward to. I think cameras are the most important part of a phone now days for most of us and you do such a great job every time with camera comparisons/reviews.
Nice improvements, especially in terms of the computational processing pipeline which results in more detail. Nothing worth upgrading over from my 13 Mini, but great for those who come from older models.
Finally the first comparison. At first I was encouraged to see the lack or a green orb on the one daylight picture, but it was still present on a nighttime shot. So we’ll have to see with more video comparisons. Its nice to see more detail but the biggest detractor in a picture isn’t the minute details you won’t notice, but the green orb that is impossible to ignore.
That's a really great comparison, iphone 14 is really more detailed but I like the skin tone of the iphone 13 better,I want to see 14 pro max against Samsung s22 ultra 🥰
Fantastic comparison. The best I have seen on RU-vid. I have been an android user. With my MacBook and iPad I thought it will be easier to use with an iPhone.
Upgrade from 13 to 14 is definitely not all worthy. Pro lineup are definitely worth the upgrade. They are essentially the same and improvements are just based on software something Apple won't be offering on 13 in order to pursuade people into buying latest iPhone.
Very good video, once agin. As before, there is significant distortion of proportions, which can be seen in many scenes where objects appear too elongated or odd (e.g. 12:43, the plastic appears compressed), and can even seem to fall toward or be attracted by the center (e.g. 4:58, and the people at the bottom left).
I really liked your video, I was actually waiting for this comparison before my purchase. Just to know, if I have to choose between iPhone 13Pro and iPhone 14, which would be better ???
Why the fuck is Danny moving like a old turtle to a million subscribers?? I have been watching him from his iPhone 6 and 6plus video and damn I miss that wooden bench 😅 You are so underrated!!!!!!
Danny, do you still happen to have a OnePlus 7 Pro lying around? I've spent hours and thousands of photos making a custom gcam especially for it and I'm pretty confident it could hang with the flagships of today regarding image quality om the main cam. Think it's also quite interesting to see how a phones ages and how the Android community may help age the device well
Best camera comparison videos around! While not related to iPhone, I just tested the S22 Ultra vs the Fold 4 at the Coca Cola building and I was shocked at how much the S22 Ultra improved but disappointed that the Fold 4 applies the T Mobile treatment to it... 😔
You can easily get a hint about this being a Photonic Engine or just a sharpness filter or both. Add 25% sharpness to a photo from the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 14. If the photo from the iPhone 14 looks completely oversharpened and the photo from the iPhone 13 looks alright, then it might just be a sharpness filter.
I believe that’s a huge difference. The 13s were very close to the 13pro images last year but these 2 can clearly differentiate between deep fusion and photonic, much better colors & much more details. This brings the 14s (non pro) closer to 2022 flagships, 13 and 13pro are much further behind. Too bad they are not updating 13s with photonic or cinematic 4k or action 2k, why ? Side note, ultrawide is 10mm to around 20mm, wide angle main is 24mm to maybe 35mm, standard 2x is 40 to 60, short tele 70 to 100, tele is 100 plus, super tele 400 plus. More depth of field is sharper background. “A deep depth of field is a larger area in focus, as it keeps more of the image sharp and clear. It is sometimes referred to a large depth of field” for info.
Bro everyone on my tech Twitter are waiting for your camera comparism between the S22 Ultra and the 14 Pro Max! Many people say they trust your review and I do too. So we are waiting 🙂
Definitely for day I would take iPhone 13. Pics are much brighter. But night I would take iPhone 14. So I guess it depends. I chose 13 as most of my pics are day time
Sup Mister Winget and everyone if you don't mind and get a chance could you please do a camera comparison with the iPhone 14 Pro and the Galaxy Z Fold 4
Thank you! This is the video what i exactly looking for. Im currently using iPhone 7 and finally have decided to get a iPhone 14 this year. Thank for Apple that they upgraded their camera on 14 series compared to 13. I guess Pro models are too much for me since im not sure that i can use whole functions of those. But im still interested in a dynamic island😅
Why most youtubers user more sharpening and added color bump when review iphone. But with samsung it's over sharpening and over saturation? Yall all use those same exact words, just calling it as I see it.
ngl I could barley tell the difference between 90% of the shots. Apples whole "2x better" this, "3x better" that seems to be more marketing than anything else. strange, It's not like them.
